Please advise if there is any form of professional certification option for a graduate of Geology with 3rd grade apart from going for a PGD program. Also consequent upon archiving the Certification, and one applies for a Job based on your Cert, will the 3rd class thing be a barrier?? simply paraphrasing will the cert. overshadow the 3rd class degree during employment ??
Please advise needed urgently.

I studied Geology from a university in Nigeria and made a 3rd class division. I am currently working as a contract staff with a reputable construction coy with a three years experience in administration and logistics which specialization in POB ( Personnel on Board) List and Flight bookings. My Contract will be ending towards the later half of this year and am puzzled with what next to do.
Firstly am opting for a Professional certification course in either SAP, DBA or PM in UK
Secondly i intend to take a post graduate course in Petroleum geology in Nigeria before eventually going for Masters abroad.
Fellow Nairalanders please advise me based on both of my options listed above which will get me a job regardless of my current qualification or if you got an alternative view which career path will suit and profit
me.

I need your candid advice here, i am a B.sc holder in Geology, 3rd class grade with 3 yrs post NYSC experience.I currently have a 2.5 yrs working experience in the construction/gas plant building Sector where I've worked as an administrator/logistics personnel contracted to chevron,my contract ends September this year. My challenges are; knowing that It might be difficult getting another job going by my class of degree, am thus opting for a fresh B.sc in UK or a pre-masters course before my masters or better any professional IT course.
My doubts are;
What best IT course can i do to build a further career in Geology or Administration (SAP,PMP or )
Consequent upon employment with your IT certifications will a 3rd class grade be a barrier??
