bellong: I believe he applied for student visa when teleperformance was still handling the application processing to Pretoria.
Teleperformance does only biometrics now for temporary visa applicants and no longer involved in the application. So your friend only told you part of the story.
PR applicants don't do biometrics... Teleperformance don't handle any of the PR process. In essence, paying in Naira is not possible at this stage. My guy in Australia has confirmed that it was actually a type of student visa that he obtained (subclass 573) and then things were still done manually. Thanks again Bellong |

Bnimz: What year was this?
I'm aware of the office at Teleperformance, Ikeja.. Saw it in the same building where they process UK visas.. But I didn't know this new piece of information.. Abeg let those that have paid their visa fees and did their biometric tell us how they went about the payment. This info is critical |

I'm aware of the office at Teleperformance, Ikeja.. Saw it in the same building where they process UK visas.. But I didn't know this new piece of information.. My guy has been in Australia for about a year now. So I can safely say he got his visa in 2015. He told me that they would tell you how to make payment (local account transfer, cheque etc). But the main thing was that he paid in naira |

bolaobby: The exchange rate is killing my brother. I have been doing a lot of searching myself because i will need almost 6,000 USD for mine. I have even stumble on some fraudster in the process. Am trying to see if i can get it a little lower than the black market price even if it just a 20 naira difference.
Mallam Audu don get enough wify but to add another wouldn't be too bad sha My broses in this Aussie hustle, yes I know the Visa fees are high. But one of my guys wey pass thru this hustle and is currently in Melbourne told me that they have an biometric capturing office at Ikeja and that he paid his visa fees in Naira. Just want to confirm from the godfathers on this thread. Can we pay this money in naira (and tell Mallam Audu to go to hell ) or must it be in foreign currency? Imagine sourcing for $6,000 Please advise |

The "Oracle" has spoken!
Oga bellong, please I need a little clarity on this "Statutory Declaration". Tried to Google this thread for an explanation but maybe I missed it.
Is it like the "affidavit" that we do in court affirming certain information? Who prepares/signs it? The applicant or another person e.g. a senior colleague? Does it have a specified format?
I just want to be sure that I got it right. Thanks for your anticipated clarification. The statutory declaration must be prepared by the other person, not you. I have attached the one I did for my job assessment. Note that I masked out all personal info

bellong: You should be able to highlight what you want and your preference. Your question is too ambiguous to be given a definite response.
Every state has her unique strengths and differences. Saying that, Don't consider coming to South Australia because of the job market is not too encouraging although things are better compared to last year.
If you are able to spell out what you are looking for, you probably may get a better response. Bellong sir, as a software programmer where would you advise me to come to? I have a friend who said Melbourne is great. I want to get a second opinion. How long do you think it would take for someone like me to get a job to support myself and my family of 4? |

My friend, appreciate the good qualities in her. Yes she may be desperate and may not be classy but so what? Look beyond her weaknesses and see her strengths. I have been in marriage for 8 years and I can tell you that love in itself is not everything. What is more important is if she's your close friend and can confide in her all your heart secrets. If so, then you are good to go to the alter. Believe me bro, love aint important in marriage. Friendship is. |

I have been using my 1.4 Tec inverter with two batteries for almost two yrs with no issues. I just replaced my batteries last month and discovered that sometimes (especially when I allow the batteries to run down) my inverter does not charge the batteries. It will just show battery fully charged even when I know that the batteries are flat. Could the problem be from my inverter or from the new batteries that I just bought last month? Thanks to this forum, I now know that I should not let the batteries to run down totally. What do i do? Please advise. Thanks |
