Ssc is given same rank with those who entered tru Nda. But dssc are
specialist and professionals required is specific field. Dssc is the
engine boat that keeps others going but hardly get promoted except on
conversion to regular combatant. Same with Ssc except on conversion to
regular combatant. [/quote]

Please what do you mean by DSSC hardly ever get promoted?? Are you sure about this??

On where you are going, just weigh the options well because the pharm. company can be a back-up/fall-back plan. However, if the Naval Officer is a very senior officer whose appointment you can't afford to miss, then I suggest you place all your stakes on him and forget about the interview IF YOU ARE SURE he will help with your DSSC application. Just try to get there early as the Officer might view you as unserious if you get to him after the time he gave you.

Cheers.

Travel / Re: 1,487 Illegal Routes To Nigeria Uncovered by vinuyon: 3:59pm On Feb 06, 2013
Alamen:

They know before now. So there is nothing like 'uncovered'. They just decided to expose it now.

NOW THAT THEY'VE SPOKEN, WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO CHECKMATE ACTIVITIES ON THOSE ILLEGAL ROUTES? WHAT IMMEDIATE STEPS HAVE THEY TAKEN TO STEM ACTIVITIES ON THOSE ROUTES? IS IT NOT TIME TO MASSIVELY EMPLOY PEOPLE THAT WILL MAN THOSE LEGAL AND ILLEGAL ROUTES TO CHECKMATE SMUGGLING/CRIME/HUMAN TRAFFICKING ETC?

EVEN WITH THIS REVELATION, EMPLOYMENT WILL STILL FOLLOW "DUE PROCESS" OF WAITING FOR MONTHS FOR THE FORMS TO BE RELEASED, SHORTLISTING, EXAM, SHORTLISTING, INTERVIEW, SHORTLISTING, FEDERAL CHARACTER COMMISION, EXECUTIVE ASSENT, FINAL LIST, SENATE LIST, FINAL-FINAL LIST, 'MERIT LIST', APPROVED LIST, PRESIDENCY LIST, IMMIGRATION MINISTER LIST, COMPTROLLERS LIST, ROYAL FATHERS, POLITICIANS AND GOD-FATHERS LIST...

THEN THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS WILL BE CONCLUDED AFTER 9 MONTHS-1 YEAR WHEN THE SMUGGLERS HAVE DEVISED HUNDREDS OF NEW ROUTES ASIDES THE ONES DISCOVERED WHILE THE HONOURABLE MINISTER WILL BE WAITING TO GLEEFULLY ANNOUNCE ANOTHER SET OF ILLEGAL ROUTES DISCOVERED.

WE ARE ALL GUILTY!!!

ALL WE NEED IS TO FULLY FOLLOW THE WORDS IN OUR NATIONAL PLEDGE..

..TO BE FAITHFUL, LOYAL AND HONEST..

Family / Re: How Do You Feel When A Man Cries by vinuyon: 1:56pm On Feb 06, 2013
crusufixo:

It was when my dad cried after we found the baby of the house ( she was missing for three weeks ), that i knew men could cry too. He cried so much that his whole body was shaking. For a man to cry, know that it must have hurt him so much. And to think that before the incident, i saw him as a very tough man, which he displayed. But then for me, the least i can do is shed tears.

Real men cry. There is an adage that says "It's the individual that has never seen a fight that calls himself a man"

Politics / Re: Yakubu Yusuf Rearrested Over Police Pension Scheme by vinuyon: 6:10pm On Jan 29, 2013
People, it is with deep amazement that I read the judgement. If the sum claimed to have been stolen is true(if more has not been covered up), then, giving the man Yusuf the balance of N300m after confiscating the remaining N23B, 4.6 million Nigerians will share this money at the rate of N5,000 per individual.

+++23 Billion / N5,000 =4.6 million people

Now imagine what just ONE man in ONE parastatal is doing? Just imagine the number of other people exposed to such sums or even larger and what they can do/are doing.

Just Imagine.

Romance / Re: Renting/borrowing Big Car For Wedding: Is It A Must? by vinuyon: 2:44pm On Jan 25, 2013
econome: I noticed it has come a tradition to rent/borrow big cars for wedding.
Yesterday around Ikeja, the owner of a rented/borrowed car landed at the wedding reception. When he got to where the car was packed, he asked who packed the car? The bridegroom answered "its my car". The owner looked at other people who followed him, then he moved back and called the police.

In 5 minutes, the police stormed the place with 2 fully loaded keke Napep(lol). Sundenly, we saw The bridegroom, and others started begging. What happen was that owner of the car gave it to a dealer to sell, the foolish car dealer never knew car would be used at the owner's neigborhood. I am sure he would have collected atleast N20k from the bridegroom. They called the dealer several time, but he never pick it.

The owner was such a nice person, he left the car with them and the police took picture and left.

My advice, if you must borrow/rent "by-force"a car for your wedding never go to a car dealer.

Heyya, it would have been very very embarrassing for the young couple. What will rumour-mongers say?

I pray God blesses them with their own car and every other comfort they need.
