Go and build it in Lebanon, they need you there more. Africa is for Africans like how una place be for una. Even this morning, the most progressive black melting pot (Lagos) just took a step back wards, so we have work to do on our differences and not have you to come and be distracting us.

Oga, go back and read the constitution. Lagos state house of assembly has the right to make laws pertaining to educational institutions established and run by the state. If you do not like this law, go to a federal institution. Chikena!
I definitely would read the constitution on that. Thanks for the reminder and your maturity in pointing it out. As for the other haters, no yoruba learning or speaking for me. If you no dey speak english or pidgin, that means we no suppose communicate.

It is not by force to learn yoruba. Even-though, yoruba is a great Nigerian language like every other Nigerian language.

If na for Lagos mata, I full ground my guy. I cautious like security system like a sharp lagosian suppose to be. As for my city, I rep Lagos.

I am a proud Lagosian from birth and nothing - not even you and your fore fore fathers can change it idiot. By the way, no yoruba for me; pidgin and english is enough for me. It is not foolishness. You can still study in 34 other States of the federation if you do not like Lagos State's laws.
Lagos or any other state does not have a right to enforce this kinds of laws. The FG will not allow it. I am a lagos indigene, and I don't want to learn yoruba because it is not a national language. I learn other languages because it is fun for me and not by force. The FG will soon remind the state of that freedom of navigation and choice. In the end this is just blowing smoke. advice any igbo or others not to worry about this backward /hindrance law. Na until people begin fight for streets, then them go change am. Stupid and backward country, everyday a new low.

And the govt keeps quiet. Later, you wonder why we don't grow as a nation. I no wan learn am, no be by force; and it shouldn't hinder one's progress in goals. It is funny how people blame the north for their archaic religious laws but are complacent and even supportive if it's their own tribe.

I would not support this type of divisive law that shouldn't be set by the state or lga if it were igbo, so i will not support it now. The govt should make it easy to sue Lagos state or any other state on this type of foolishness.

Young man, he did not make law for the land, he said he will not allow a woman to wear trousers inside HIS PALACE. How is this an issue? I can decide that no one enters MY HOUSE with footwear or vice versa, is it not my house?
You are right. He did say in his palace but not .0001inch outside his palace. Thank you for the reminder.
Culture › Re: Shadrach Erebulu, Adou: "I Don’t Allow Women To Wear Trousers In My Palace" by vioment: 1:19am On Feb 11, 2018
Dictatorship in the making. He is making local govt or state wide laws, and the elected authorities and law enforcement are just laughing it out and abiding by what is not a national or state law. Even a lawyer or person or group of people can sue a state not to talk of a nobody forming leader if they are violated.

Let's stop all this playing around and either become a democracy (fairness for all ) or go back to the our failed tradition. A totally failed tradition. It failed when arabs began enslaving africans, then oyibos, and now asians. It is so failed it is supposed to be a comedy show. That is my opinion. As for the right way that I think a serious govt would handle this traditional or parallel laws, it is to remind traditional rulers that they don't have the power to make laws of the land irregardless of how small. Remind them that they are only there for show but no atom of power extended beyond their homes. It i time to punish violators. If this guy enforces this law or someone gets harassed for this law, they should create ways to sue the so called chief or king after he has been arrested.

Politics › Re: Cattle Colony: Kogi Hands Over 15,000 Hectares Of Land To FG by vioment: 2:34am On Feb 10, 2018
A good effort on Kogi state's part, I think it is a business and state decision on allocating land for such project. It is a smart move. It ensures meat accessibility and if done rightly affordability in that state; but knowing Nigeria, complex issues or puzzle issues are an uphill task; this is not even those types of issue, it is more like an organizational issue. As for the govt, they could have done a better deal with neighboring countries especially niger, chad, and car. Our land availability does not pass the mathematical test.

The FG should silently do deals close to the border with neighboring countries and pay health officials and invest in proven technologies to ensure healthy food come through the border.

They(we) are acting as if we are on a suspended see through glass bridge.

Nigeria is not serious at anything outside of evil things. We are not competent in anything complex. Everything of credibility is zero if scored. If a whole plane can be robbed, then maybe the govt need to allow laws for all kinds of guns.

I am yet to find any sector that requires advanced thinking where Nigeria is good at. We don't have water softeners or any type of water treatment facility that is credible. Oh i forgot that requires meaningful and continuous electricity which we lack. The black race is truly a disappointment in 95% of human advancement.

God instead of attaching me to losers like this next time, kukuma send me to be an agent of the devil in the real hell. I prefer it to Nigeria of now and before.

Of what good is this when there are substantial results. No dynamic economy, am not talking of buying and selling. If we haven't realized that we have to go all out in infrastructure, we have to make it swaggalious to ease peoples' pains, we have to not owe any civil servant, then we are fooling ourselves. If one creditor decides to come for their pay, all that money will be gone. The best bet for any govt is to invest in its people and supporters of its people.

Keep quiet and stop spewing ignorant jargon.

If you are going to proclaim any project mediocre, doomed to fail, environmentally unsound, common sense and sane logic dictate that you show us your own on the ground assessment, detailing soil and environmental samples, quality of tools and equipment uses, quality and knowledge of hired manpower from engineers to pipe fitters.

The fact that this is a private investments totaling hundreds of millions of dollars mean for the folks involved to secure funding from international lenders, they must have submitted credible EIA reports, sound operational forecast and iron clad insurance to guarantee their investments

Nothing more foolish, irresponsible and reckless than ignorant jokers like you spewing nonsense based what you know nothing about, what you haven't studied, what you are not even part of. Even talking about dust regarding a project that even a day old baby know is still under construction.

What's religion and people dying in Europe, lekki, america and average neighborhood got to do with this project in Edo state? You sound very very senseless and logically insane, you just love to hear yourself talk, sense or no sense.

Just shut up and confine your rubbish to your ignorant kind.

It is not by force to comment or form intelligent.
Guy abeg clear road, is it a must say you go comment on my comment.

If you like mediocre, i don't. Our government projects are many times mediocre at their best effort when completed. As for private efforts, they work with the guidelines they are given and with the infrastructure they have to work around.

Almost everything in Nigeria is mediocre, leadership on many levels and many fields are mediocre; graduates from our universities in different fields are mediocre; following the religion or traditions we have chosen over growth and technology is mediocre; They or we say are giant of Africa, but we are mediocre at it; Our society is mediocre. Infrastructure, everything. Guy abeg leave me o, my blood dey boil for Africa's mass stupidity and ignorance. By 2030, more than 80% of Nigeria might still be in the dark if the oyibos don't come up with technology to give us light from their side. By 2050, Nigeria will still be shouting up NEPA.

Our people die going to Europe just to see how life is, just to see how an organized society functions. It is so organized that it accommodates others even though it was tailored for Europeans. If you put the whole of lekki as is in europe or america, it will just be an average neighborhood, but in Nigeria today, you will need almost international passport to go into mediocre estates including lekki.
