Dude I will tell you from experience. US is the land of opportunities, just that most people wey Japa are not smart enough to grab these opportunities.
It took me just in my second year in the US to start making over $100k a year, grateful to God. gunning for $150k - $200k in my 3rd year.

Insane career, right? Because it involves sales, so you double as a technician and a sales person.

Let’s do this one app at a time. First, head over to the Mi File Manager and tap on the 3 lines that appear at the top left corner to open up the hamburger menu. The head over to Settings > About and disable the ‘Recommendations’ tab.

Next comes the Security app, which probably operates contrary to its moniker by showing you ads based on your usage patterns. To prevent this, fire up the Security app, then go to settings by tapping the gear icon on the top right and disable ‘Receive Recommendations’. While you’re at it, also head over to the ‘Cleaner’ section in the same settings menu and disable the ‘Receive Recommendations’ option here as well.

The default MIUI browser is what displays maximum ads since it has permissions to be connected to the internet all the time, so let’s handle that. Also, this setting is really buried in a place you wouldn’t expect to find it, so probably Xiaomi doesn’t want you to disable it after all! Once you open up the Browser app, got to Settings > Advanced > Top sites order and disable ‘Receive recommendations’.

Lastly, let’s disable the service which tracks your usage patterns to display user specific ads. Open the Settings app and navigate to Additional Settings > Privacy > Ad Services and disable ‘Personalized Ad Recommendation’

having US visa is really the hack cos I applied december ending and got ten years visa in January, everything took 2 weeks cos I had a valid Us visa. just be patient and lets hope it comes out positive. Goodluck

I did an visa interview with the USA embassy in Abuja in April. I was applying for the H1-B visa. I was only asked two questions.

1. What's your highest degree?
2. How much will you be earning?

Less than 5 minutes interview and I received the visa. However, the person before me and after me were students (F visas) and both were denied.

The fact is, I have always wanted to go to the USA. I wrote the SAT for undergrad, wrote the GRE and TOEFL. I paid application fees. All to no avail.

Fast-forward after I got my PhD, an organization sponsors my work permit to the USA. It felt like a mirage but it was God's timing.

Please don't let the refusal bother you. Dust yourself up and apply again. Don't give up!
