@ op, you could not have stated it otherwise. I must confess that I have been guilty of all that have been said in this thread thus far.
But I thank God for today, that I stumbled on it. Because for the past couple of months, I have been lamenting on all those wasted years and what one could have achieved.

@all who have been contributing, just to mention a few, Ideykwum, Indestructiblex, 400billionman, etc........All what you have said is just the bitter truth.

One without financial discipline, financial intelligence, learning and knowing were to put ones money in other to make it work for the person as well as enable one to embark on the walk to financial freedom will continue to fall into the pitfalls as mentioned by dearpreye.

I have learnt so much just within the last one hour I stumbled on this thread. Took my time to read through the entire post and all glory to God that this is coming at the 2nd half of the year.
This is just another opportunity of a 2nd chance to learn from ones mistakes and other peoples life experiences to start doing things right.

Once again thanks to the op (dearpreye) and you all for your contributions.

Let me also add and must confess, that am sometimes amazed with the financial wisdom that God has deposited in the brains of women, especially those of them that have taken the time to discover who/what they are. A big shout out to all such women in the house and also to all those who have the privilege to have them as their wives.

You are right sir.... Leather is easier to maintain with kids but with sharp object on them, it is not fun too..... furthermore with the heat in Nigeria, leather could be frustrating.

2008 Toyota Rav4.....not CR-V with leather is only 3.42m Naira
2008 Honda CR-V. ..... will be only 3.39m Naira

Looking forward to doing business with you.

Thank U Sir..........Yeah Naija heat, person fit use am fry plantain oooh! Will appreciate the prices of the fabric as well...... Thanks!

mrtidier:

These PushCV guys might be good, but they have a strong wave of nonchalance written all over them.

1. Its up to 20days i ordered for a cv, yet they have not delivered it.

2. I wrote the Stage 4, submitted it with 17 mins remaining, they asked me to refresh the questions. I refreshed and rewrote, finishing with 24mins remaining. Same thing.

3. I decided to change devices but when i tried to log into my tablet with my acct details, they said it was wrong. I opted for a change in password. It took about 30minutes of failed attempts before my account was finally logged in with my previous acct details. Finally took the test, same error message.

I just let it go, id try again tomorrow. These guys should really up their game, alot if Nigerians are looking up to them. Nonchalance is not acceptable.

My Stage 3 report - IT/Engineering was what I choose.

Good Job, you have completed Stage Three of the Elite Program, your "certificate of completion" is available for download.
We have tested your ability to think logically and analytically. Typically, employers use tests like this as part of their selection process; and based on your performance in the Specialization test, you have earned:
6500 Points
Your actual score for the test is: 65%
The total number of points you got was the percentage equivalent of your score times one hundred (x 100). However, the longer time you spent answering the quiz, the more your points reduced.

@Mrtidier,
On your stage 4, what were the questions like.... I guess the issue you has was with the network of their server was clogged as the time you were taking the test. Do try again later.....

@ databoy247,

Kudos for opening this thread and I want to say it's well timed for some of us.

I would like to also support what @scantee said, concerning documentation as most of them are for those already established contractors who want to bid for those bigger jobs and not for freshers.
However, I notice that you made some specifics that a fresher would need and the importance of starting small (Enterprise Level).....Nice one.

I work for an Oil & Gas servicing company in the their bidding dept and have experience in bid preparation from pre-qualification through to Commercial. Also familiar with all of those documentations you mentioned.

I and my colleague we wanna do what @Scantee is already into (set up our own personal) and we would like to draw loads of suggestions from you guys about company registration. Scantee, I sent you nairaland email message................Am also Port Harcourt base..........

@Samplet, you are welcome!

@Alora Lord, U are welcome.

@Samplet, I don key into that your testimony sharply. God I thank you because I know that your children (samplet & dh), whom you have delivered from financial stagnation will have a much bigger celebration this year. Like Goldenbaby said, you will control money not money controlling you but rather money will obey you according to Gen 1:28. I also pray that as she has asked that you almighty Father, our creator and our king give her all round bfps because we have declared in accordance with the holy spirit in this thread that this year is that of all round fruitfulness in every areas of our lives IJMN!

Alora lord: Please @Godsent, what and where is CCT? Please, reply!

CCT is Christ Chosen Tabernacle, Its a deliverance ministry that is being coordinated by Servant Vic (his phone number:08153309479). It is not a church and anybody is invited to come and fellowship with them. They have a weekly deliverance fellowship every Thursday and a special deliverance program every last Thursday of each month (But you have to be booked for the last Thursday's program, by going during any of the Thursday's fellowship for that). They also have a revival program every last Friday of each month. CCT is at Sango Ota, in Ogun State......Address below:

CCT. DELIVERANCE MINISTRIES-------from Oshodi or anywhere, enter vehicle to Sango Ota, stop at last bus stop, walk to under bridge, and walk to your right hand, that is Ijoko Road stop and ask of plaza junction, branch right,(second powerline) and ask for no 5, Idowu close, off second powerline, by the plaza junction. It not far from the bridge but since it will be your first time take a bike.

Congrats to all of us, our thread has made it to the 100 PAGE!

Today is also the very 1st working day of the year for me.
Oh God my creator, forgive for every sin that I've committed against you, the ones I know and the ones I don't know, I pray for your mercy and ask for your forgiveness in Jesus Name. Use the blood of Jesus to was away my sins and give me the grace to live a life that will please you and glorify ur most holy name.

@Goldenbaby, hope you had a smooth and safe journey? Thank God for journey mercy. I know you will pull through and God's perfect will for your life will be done. Your have a very strong personality with a never say die attitude and such things are what God sometimes looks out and say, my daughter I'll bless U beyond measures.

@All, join me to thank God for a safe journey mercies to and fro Warri for DW brother's wedding and also to spend time with our parents for the new year celebrations. We got back to PH this afternoon.

@Caringpro, this is really getting serious and U need to put in more effort. Bible says Faith without works is dead. It's ur Faith in action that God will see and attend to ur needs. Even though His mercies is there for you, but U need to reach out and grab it with ur faith man.
Please intensify effort to make the deliverance @CCT. Call Servant Vic and explain situations to him.
Go back to those prayer points and start a program with fasting. Add this prayer point " that God should create the time/opportunity for you to attend this months deliverance program unfailingly. But if this month won't be possible, then that of February should not pass U by.

We're praying for you but U need to invite the Holy Spirit to take control. Stop looking at the size or magnitude of ur challenge/situation, have a strong positive attitude and shun every negative thoughts/idea especially that of death, but stay focus on the solution and its provider Jesus Christ.
If you look at people's testimonies U might think they don't have much of a problem, but its the attitude that is put into dealing with it, that gives them the testimonies U see couple with the fact that we have discover the path way to our breakthrough. May God continue to give U the needed grace and strenght to pull through.
LET GO and LET GOD IN TO HANDLE IT FOR U, Read Psalms 71.

@aderome & adorable, I say Amen to ur prayers.

@Caringpro, it is well with you and your sister in Jesus name. Please keep praying, studying God's word and believe Him to give U ur breakthrough.
How with the deliverance waka as planned last time?

@God's sent, Amen to ur prayers and insight into managing our family life. Sorry am yet to send the mail as promised, will try and do so 2moro evening.

@Goldenbaby, all I can say here is that God's perfect will must surely be done in your life.

You're very correct ooh, holiday is over and we need to get down to serious business with God.
Not just the business of praying and living a life pleasing to God But like what @Santagelo25, has said we need to get folks into God's kingdom to share in what we already have. Soul winning is another task/assignment for all of us and may God give us the grace to win souls for Him! Amen

@FatherAbraham, just saw your post after I clicked the submit button. Thank God for journey mercies for you and dw, May the name of our God be praised now and forever more in your lives IJMN.

Satan the devil is a liar and will remain defeated in your life and that of dw in Jesus Name. All those were his tricks, had close to similar experience like yours last month. Having agreed that she will go with me, I made all necessary travel arrangements and a week to the time, she said she won't be going again. It was painful and it took the grace of God, counseling from Servant Vic, God's sent & Goldenbaby to put me back on track and that was how I came alone during the November program. Am still trying and praying that we will make it either for January of February program, before she becomes too strong for long distance travel.
I want you to relax and allow God to complete what He alone has already started. But please and please lets continue to deal with that thing called ANGER! It's really a show stopper and a wicked tool the devil uses against us, each time we approach the presence of God. Am learning his tricks with regards to that on a daily basis, my brother eeh no easy ooh!...........your testimony is just around the corner and I strongly believed that you shall be announced sooner than you expect it. Thank you almighty Father for your Son and dw, because I know you have heard their cry and answered their prayers in Jesus mighty name I pray!

@All, woow wooo! Indeed our God is a perfect God, perfecting the things that concerns us His beloved children. Almighty Father, I give you thanks and I praise your name for the life of all those that went for the deliverance & revival sessions. Thank you for their testimonies and total deliverance and breakthrough/restoration. Thank you for journey mercies for, nic1 & dh, FatherAbraham & dw and all others that traveled from outside of Lagos State. Baba God may your name be exalted and glorify in Jesus mighty name.
@nic1, I thank God for your total deliverance and pray that it shall remain permanent IJMN! The go dey go is going very well and dw is doing great, thanks for asking after us.

@Santagelo25, @Shyna112, @JECU, @enm, @Uteh, @nic1, thanks for bringing to our eyes & ears all that happened during the last program @CCT. The teachings of Servant Vic, the things you guys learnt, the deliverance that the children of God received and the good things that is about to be unveiled in your lives/family and as well as in the lives of every member of this great thread. May God's holy name be praise for evermore, IJMN!
@Freechild, waiting for your detailed minute by minute report of the program, how you dey and dh!

I've equally learnt something new from the below as stated by Santagelo25, it has to do with the areas of us "Fighting for our Families.

santagelo25: "We must fight for our family for them to be delivered. If you do not fight for your family when you make heaven, you will be asked that why did you not fight for your family. He quoted the verse Jude 1:9 as the reason why we must fight for our family.Satan was not ready to release the spirit of Moses to let him go.There is this particular verse Zechariah 3:1-6 that opened my spiritual eyes about satan accusing the people before God.Servant Vic said some people don't fight for their family because of their "I don't care attitude"

@Sotum2, I say AMEN to your prayers.

@Caringpro, compliment of the season, wishing you and family a glorious 2014. So sorry to hear you had to travel for Xmas and from all indication you didn't make it for the program! please what happened? Hope you called Servant Vic concerning that as well, so when will you be able to make out time to go for the program?
As per the issue with your falling Sick during each visit, you need to strongly pray against it and ask God to reveal/show you the root cause of that problem. if it has anything to do with the spiritual or its just a change of environment and your system has refused to adjust to that zone!
