i feel the pain of the poster. uniport is zero when it comes to academics. there are a lot of intelligent students being frustrated and wasted by the school. am graduating from uniport this year so i know what am talking about. can you imagine that a girl in petroleum engineering is supposed to get a first class this year but she didnt because she was given an ''e'' in her project!!!! the lecturers say it was a typo error when they were compilling her spreadsheet. now she has dropped to a 2.1 from a first class coz of this ''error''. they told her she can apply for correction but coz it would take time, she wont graduate with her mates and wont go for june batch of nysc, she would have to wait till november!!! just imagine, its a very stupid school in academics. uniport has one of the best social lifes, if you are a flexing person, you would love the school. but if you are concerned with academics, you would be disappointed! lecturers, errors in results and other non sense would frustrate you! am speaking from experience. very sad.

I'll soon start applying to universities for masters. i'll just like to find out some things from students in canada and usa like, how easy or hard was it getting admission and visa? How much is your average living cost for a month? And hiw easy or hard is it to get a job as a student and whats the pay like? I have a sister studying in uk so i already know whats up in the uk, i just want to find out about canada and usa. Thanks.

Now, iv been to a lot of clubs, lounges and bars in lagos, port harcourt and enugu. And iv noticed that our girls dont go to these places unless a guy takes them. You go to a club and all the girls are with a guy that brought them, some others would be with aristos that brought them, and if you manage to see a girl on her own you are sure to find out that she is a professional ashawo. Recently i have been researching on schools for my masters in the UK or US. UK universities have structured websites. every information you need is shown clearly, tuition, visa info, accommodation, courses and requirements for each country. But i dont know who the idiots that design US sites are! You look for information for international students, u cant find. they just take you round and round and direct you to unending links that dont explain much, just confuse me the more. I cant even find the tuition fees page or even accommodation. Its just a mess, and they use terms and language that the average foreigner wouldnt understand only americans do. Maybe they dont need foreign students, I'll just have to go meet an education consultant i guess. Na dem sabi! I tire!
