My thoughts... There are many managers who start FPL in Gameweek 2 or 3 and still manage to finish in the top 1 percentile globally... Don't panic or start doing 2 hit combo and finishing move now... It's a marathon! Meanwhile, my team is languishing somewhere on page 3 (I think)  Riders of Rohan |

Riders of Rohan, not even rated by the NPL tabloid, remained consistent as usual (Top 10 throughout much of the season)... Ultimately finishing second The manager has consecutively finished in the NPL Top 20 four years running. This 2nd place finish is his highest ever, after finishing 15th twice and 4th once... I actually captained Austin... I must confess, it was NO stroke of genius... I was wasted at the time and thought F*ck it, no one in their right mind will do this... This game is an equal measure of luck and skill I guess. The rest of my team are yet to play so who knows, captaining Austin may be the only good point of my gameweek... and it was a fluke! |

What a gameweek (Riders of Rohan)... My captain will get me -4 points Azpilicueta! Why did you have to get a red card (reckless)? Thought Chelsea would at least keep a clean sheet. The real question should be why I even entertained making him my vice in the first place ( No worries, only 8 weeks gone and I'm still in the NPL top 10 for now... Considering I've been playing in this league (NPL) for 3 seasons and have finished 4th once and 15th twice. Loving the banter on here by the way some crazy mofos have a way with words... It's really quite entertaining Tobe. |

Last season I was a rookie on NPL but finished in the top 4 (been playing FPL for years though) currently 8th after 5 games.I'll probably drop out of the top 10 this week which doesn't faze me because I know as long as you stay within a striking distance from the top (less than 200 points of the mark) you've always got a shoe in. . . Besides, any seasoned manager knows this game really gets going (heats up) around December. . . This game is not for premature ej.acul.ation. All I'm saying is there's nothing wrong with being a rookie (everyone has to start from somewhere) however, the sweetest joy is to finish the season in style and let others blow your horn (especially after they underestimated you for being new to this NPL league). . . I'd say that's the best way to stick it to the man. . . Riders of Rohan coming through. . . |
