Looks like a top 5 finish for me or maybe even top 4 if I manage to hold on to it. . . It was fun playing with you all. Have a great off season and see you in August smiley

Tobe.

In other related news today

A growing phenomenon called arse splitting is sweeping through the nation and becoming a cause for concern. . . Residents are advised to stay indoors and lube up (KY would be a good shout) before logging into their respective FPL teams for the next couple of gameweeks at least. . .

You gotta love this game grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2011/2012 by VitiMini(m): 12:59pm On Apr 12, 2012
lol. . . Muchachos like me are quiet until they get called out grin Besides, talk is cheap wink

@Ibime - Finishing in the Top 5 for me is my target (There are some exceptional Managers in this league) anything more is a bonus. . .

I'm flattered, but yours truly is also the only manager in the top 6 who failed to score up to 50 points (without bonuses) this gameweek. . .
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2011/2012 by VitiMini(m): 10:08pm On Apr 11, 2012
The next gameweek has the promise of being interesting... Rapid Viagra is still on course for a top 5 finish (fingers crossed).
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2011/2012 by VitiMini(m): 9:42pm On Apr 11, 2012

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2011/2012 by VitiMini(m): 12:55am On Mar 23, 2012
This last game week was like watching F1 is super slow mo. . . The Top 10 providing some great entertainment. . . Sigurdsson on the bench was quite painful, 16 points, FRACK! Gotta Love This Game!

Lets see what gives, game week 30 up next shocked
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2011/2012 by VitiMini(m): 8:13pm On Mar 15, 2012
We are rounding the corner where I believe Usain Bolt would be more effective. . .
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2011/2012 by VitiMini(m): 9:27pm On Mar 03, 2012
Sigurdsson. . . Too much again! Arsene Wenger take note. . . you should have signed him back in the day! Anyway, dude is the cheaper version of Cesc.

I'm still gunning for a top 5 finish. . . Looking at the competition I believe it's still gonna happen!!!

Dempsey better do something as Vice. . . Gutted Aguero didn't play + score/assist as captain!

Thank you RVP. . . You da man! What will McClean do against Newcastle? Probably nothing, but then again if something, I benefit again!

Quite amusing how when the season started peeps where giving me advice (mostly insulting and condescending), ignorant of the fact that I've been playin fantasy for 4 years. This is my first season in Nairaland though!

On a serious note I enjoy playing here, the banter is quite entertaining. Makes me homesick at times. . .

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2011/2012 by VitiMini(m): 11:48pm On Oct 01, 2011
Sold Nasri and bought Silva this game week. . . As Eldee said a couple weeks back "Na people like me Jesus die for".

So far so good this game week sha. . . I like the way the game is starting to balance out. . . It's not only about Rooney and Aguero (have Rooney though).

Missed match of the day. . . I'll try to catch the rerun.

I have to keep reminding myself not to panic and make rash transfers this week. . . 2 bad GWs in a row.
I still believe I'll finish in the top 5 here even though I'm having a slow start sha. . . (marathon not sprint)

Anyway make I see watin United go play against Spurs.

Most of you prob don't care, but I gats to ask. . . WHAT THE FRACK IS UP WITH Arsene Wenger? angry Abi the man no get shame for body?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2011/2012 by VitiMini(m): 7:36pm On Aug 18, 2011
I hope you all have made 95% of your free transfers already. . . I'm still not 100% convinced that the site can handle 2mill managers trying to log on at the last minute cry

The strategy for waiting for the latest team news is what most good managers do. The FPL site, I believe, is still not bug free so caveat emptor!!!

Let all hold hands and sing "kumbaya" grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2011/2012 by VitiMini(m): 6:16pm On Aug 17, 2011
eldee stays - Yes of course

Reset league - No way! Because of why? grin

Come on guys, on a serious note it's only GW1 20-100 points is not unassailable. . .

Lets kill this Sh!t and move on. . . GW2 is round the corner. . . Make hay while the sun is still shining. . .

I take it the whole world has Kun now. . . Sh!T. . .

This boy too dey cry sef. . . Na wa ooooooooooooooo! Why the tantrum?

Most dedicated managers also plan for the first 2-4 weeks. . . Nothing special there. . . abi no only you come get that idea. . . You must have been shouting eurica in the wash room!

It's only a game. My guy abeg go find work! Some words of advice - you are starting to embarras yourself here. . . .

Take it or leave it! Thats all I'm gonna say bout that undecided

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2011/2012 by VitiMini(m): 10:42pm On Aug 15, 2011
Frack that!!!

I believe in transparency and fairness, Start from GW1.

Please do not spoil the league, Why can't you see that what you are proposing is unjust?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2011/2012 by VitiMini(m): 10:23pm On Aug 15, 2011
Why are we Nigerians always like this? Always looking for ways to cut corners, EVEN IN FANTASY FOOTBALL!!!

May God help us.

Just because "some" people did not get good scores due to the problems @ the FPL site does not mean everyone has to suffer for it and start counting from GW2, that is rubbish!!!

I was also affected by it but it will be unfair to those who actually scored well. Fair is Fair!!!

Lets get real people, this Nigerian mentality is not going to take us anywhere.

I also got screwed but I also trust my ability as a good FPL manager to bounce back.

I challenger all you wanna be managers to bite the bullet and grow some balls. You have unlimited transfers till GW2, use this to show your skill. 37 GWs to go!

Will you also complain when games are cancelled with no time to make any changes in the winter because of snow?

Use this setback to your advantage and make the most of NOW!!!
Sports / Re: Reject Brown Ideye Scores Two Goals Again! by VitiMini(m): 7:11pm On Jul 27, 2011
I believe Brown will be given a chance, hopefully against Argentina on September 6.

Guy, I have a quick question for you. . . Do you think "Dickson Etuhu" is capable of playing in the heart of our defense along side "Joseph Yobo" ?
