Dozis: I will start taking people like you serious when you start advocating that courses in Nigerian universities should be taught in local dialects, as a matter of fact you should start translating them into local languages so that English language blunders will be avoided
ArabicBerber: I literally broke it down and explained it to you in the most basic detail and you brushed it aside because it's not what you want to hear before scribbling your own imagination.
It's literally on the website and explained in early videos on the YouTube page. That article is from a novice reporter from 2019. It has little to no credibility whatsoever. Go with whatever helps you sleep at night man but remember trying to bring down Eko Atlantic & other projects want resurrect Konza from the dead.
Lol.luv, luv every bit of this comeback. That’s reality kicking that nigga.he hates hearing stuffs like this.
rvp2018: Why not put the link of the article - must have been written last decade. Eko Altantic has no promise.
First Nigerian economy is sick and people are broke - Victoria Island, Ikoyi and Banana Island already have vacancy rates as high as 30 per cent in their wealthier areas.
Eko City itself has essentially stalled...and more than 10yrs since 2009...there are two completed towers..that have zero occupancy rate...money thrown down the drain LITERALLY. It may take another decade before anybody lives in Eko City.
Not that I am trying to convince u tho.but the facts churches and boutiques stores are now going to get their buildings there is testaments to the fact that EAC is sure having a frequency people move in an out.Abd with things like this and opening of new route to lekki(an alternative) it will become to hottest spit for developers.a play ground for developers, for lack of a better wonders. Wonder no more why top developers seems to only be looking towards EAC for development now-
ArabicBerber: Eko Atlantic is a smart city being built on reclaimed land from the ocean using reable malleable materials in a time where climate change is a massive issue. These malleable materials take 10-15 years to fully settle. Any widespread MASSIVE contruction until then will result in both an ecological & infastructurial disaster.
They have to perform soil test for each plot they use. It's more an extension of Lagos than an actual separate city. The plots for schools, hospitals, housing etc has long been bought out. They have already layed down the sewage & power grid
With lekki free zone, Orange Island, Periwinkle island, Imperial international business city island reaching completion contruction is about to explode from here own out in these coming years.
Egypt's New Administrative Capital, Nigeria's Eko Atlantic and similar island developments along with Morroco's Casablanca Marina Project & Ch'rafate are the most promising smart city projects so far deep in development.
Rvp needs to see this and accept the truth right on his face.he wouldn’t like news like this.must be think EAC is a failure like Kenyatta and konza joke.
I have never seen a place half as beautiful, developed and stunning like this in east Africa backwater. This is first world stuff not shitty Chennai or Delhi stuff. Kenya think BIGGER! BIGGER!! BIGGER!!!
rvp2018: Facts is 1) It takes your about 1 hour to get house, pay for it and rent in Nairobi 2) It about six times cheaper than Lagos. There is house for every budget.
And we adding 500,000 more.
U are a joke.housing in Lagos and Nigeria generally is the cheapest amongst nations on this thread, save for maybe SA.
Lol pls don’t start that hopeless 500k joke now boy.we had our share of laughter on that Kenyatta media jamboree on the other thread.
rvp2018: Almost zero completed project since 2014 - when oil tanked - and send your economy to recession. In the same period Kenya GDP has doubled - the number of projects completed staggering - that is why Nairobi is now 4th Most Dynamic City in the world.
Ur useless tittle doesn’t impress anyone-maybe India or Pakistan- otherwise we are visually healthy to see that nothing’s change in Nairobi over the years-maybe the dusty thika road and all.
rvp2018: No, in West Africa, they stay in the backyards of the main house, that they pay rent for one year, and such. In fact getting a house is so difficult people have to bandy together - or even borrow 2yr loan.
Your housing sector is undeveloped.
Nairobi has every kind of housing for every kind of need.
Nope. 90% of Nairobi’s residence are like what was seen in that video or worst off like kibera and mathare like slums. It’s called slumscraper nigga.that ain’t something to be proud of. Just nuke Nairobi already.
rvp2018: More speeches - yet since 2016 - when this kind of thread started - that is 5yrs ago - not a single projec in entire of Nigeria has been completed. Just a litany of abandoned projects like I hears Ghana is famous for.
Kenya projects in that period are staggering. SGR done in 3yrs - and now it been in operation for ages. Only 9 months of Nairobi expressway and within 12 months it will be completed.
I can go on and on - but Kenya is rapid growth - and projects get done on time - mostly ahead of very tight schedule.
Nairobi skyline changing every day so much it's now jumped from no 20, 10, 6, and 4 of JLLC most dynamic city.
@ bolded is that the nonsense u tell urself to feel better about Kenya-lol must be comforting.
FYI weasel that project is not our sgr.it’s a light rail-I know things like this are like rocket science in your inferior zoo-you gladly opted in for some century old Spanish garbage than go modern- And no we have completed 2 sgr line since this thread commenced-And three more are under construction as we speak. Our list of completed project are endless, talk of airport Alone In such very few years.
Dozis: Physics is taught in a local language or O level credit in English is no longer a prerequisite for admission into Nigerian universities.
He is African.he can choose to toil with the white Man’s language any how he likes.he didn’t ask for it but it was imposed on him through trans generational slavery and made a norm. I don’t see anything wrong he can’t communicate properly in English, cos a whiteman wouldn’t giving a flying fvck if he was pronouncing a Yoruba words incorrectly or speaking bad Igbo. So yeah, there u have it.
rvp2018: I think you wanted to say how does an intersection in the middle of nowhere turn Accra into anything but a shanty town. Otherwise, if you meant Africa's only elevated highway - that seek to slash commute time along that nearly 30km busy corridor from 2hrs to 20mins! hen you're confirming as you won't daily your mental illness.
This road will potentially reduce commute time along that section 6 times!
See comments like this - am from jhb but I can promise you that Nairobi is becoming Africa's biggest metropolis in the next few years. All funds are going to head that side for a number of reasons. If I want to invest, that is also my first choice.
Useless arguments, when presented with video evidence like this, should really cease
Oh pls be gone with this overinflated, overhyped nonsense.I watched the video and Nairobi still loooks the same.ain’t no fave changed yet. When u are ready you can get serious and make some big boys move.this is Lagos red line train-kicked off two months whos, and to me completed last quarter of next year-not ur usual Spanish dustbin of a train(wtf commuter train in 2021) . Your zoo love inferiority so much and that why you opted for that nonsense.
rvp2018: How does a bus terminal help Lagos WORD worst commute. When will Lagosians stop waking up at 4am to get to work - and arrive at 10 pm - back home?
Stupid question!!! it does help Lagos a lot and they are many more like that.continue with ur meagre, mediocre baby step thika joke.u’ve gat a lot of catching up to do so stay still and learn.ur zoo inspires no one.
A single lane on thika highway doesn’t inspire anyone.we long left this baby steps 15 years ago.now we are rolling on multiple airport like terminal as bus terminals. Get that into ur head
rvp2018: It's deeper than that - it's 1st world and 3rd world co-existing in the same country - and the country trying to find it's balance.
Worry about Kenya.u are still hopelessly wallowing in third world and here worrying over a country that has got a strong semblance to a first world nation. Ur zoo is in a pit-that should be your headache.
rvp2018: Amazulu protesting (looting) in Azania after jailing of Zuma. I see our Shackman is offline - he might be busy looting too. I keep saying South Africa prognosis is bad. This middle class country finding it's sub saharan level.
Lol.so it’s a show of more disciplined army. I wonder where that discipline went when ur army budget constantly lived rent free in select fews pockets
Always look for ever little nonsense to compare. Who is bigger, who is fatter, who is stronger, who is finer, who is classier and now we are down to who is more disciplined. Idiooooooottttttt!!!!!!
rvp2018: There is no excuse why you cannot beat homegrown terror - except your army is simply incapable - and has been found to be wanting - they run from Boko Haram. American soldiers who came to see - who so shocked - US has refused to sell any serious arms to Nigeria - coz cowardly militia will abandon it for Boko Haram. US congress on other hand quickly approves any Kenya arm sales.
Nigeria army needs REFORMS.
You need to inject PROFESSIONALISM into your army.
Kenya Defence force had in 80s went down in Africa kind of way - there was an attempted coup in 1982 - and army was dominated by illeterate officers.
In 1990s - KDF undertook what is called TONJE Reforms.
That reform fixing many things that was wrong with our military and ushered in a modern force.
rvp2018: You're now just heckling like Just30 mad cow. Use that aggression to defeat Boko Haram and save at least 8million (size of Rwanda) people of North East from that war.
Have my point reach home.Nigeria is the undisputed 4th strongest army on the continent. Thanks for getting that finally
rvp2018: This again is the problem when army is not proffesional. They just throw money - without even thinking of how to maintain and operate the same equipment. It is like Uganda buying Sukhoi - that cost a fortune to just fly it.
Your army effectiveness is in dealing with enemies like Boko Haram.
END OF STORY. It's not the equipment or the millions of troops.
To summarize this your army is joke compared to ours.we have the 4th strongest army force on our dear continent. I heard with all ur discipline and training 200 soldiers died by alshaab hands in 2016. And ur military budget keeps getting pocketed by a select few. Lol discipline much
kikuyu1: Is that phrase your psychological pacifier? I swear that mantra soothes you like a baby's comforter!
No that phrase is a living, breathing facts- properly documented for the world to see.- no brain functioning human could give a flying fvck about ur online verbal ranking. You are a nobody sitting right in the middle of kibera and texting shiit from your $4 mobile phone. - your verdict is not important,Never u forget this sir.
