Politics / Re: Ohanaeze Reacts As Arewa Youths Ask Osinbajo To Facilitate Igbo Exit by VocalWalls: 7:28am On Jun 20, 2017
igbodefender:
No one should take Igbos for bumpkins. They are trying to say igbo Land is just South East. So our kin outside the South East, what tribe are they?

Port Harcourt (Igwe Ocha) and Opobo-Bonny (Igwe Ngaa) and other Igbo areas of the South South are part and parcel of Igbo Land. No one should think they can erase these facts from reality.

Stop talking about your kins, let them speak for themselves.
You make people see igbos as land grabbers. Rivers people are not kids, they can speak for themselves and decide their own future.

After i listened to that audio, i realized the Norther elites didn't want the igbos to leave Nigeria, that would be mercy. They want the igbos to suffer.

Which 5%?

1.74% comes from the two states and Ondo state alone more than doubles that figure.

1% isnt 1 Naira.

1% of Nigeria's wealth, if not mismanaged, is enough to run Nigeria smoothly.

From close observation, the Igbos are not ready to seceed from Nigeria. if they were, the would have embraced gladly this quit notice from the North. Igbos please do us all a favour by relocating back to South while the Northerners go back north. That way, we can jointly kiss Nigeria goodbye.

The actions of few do not stand in for the voice of all.

Igbos have no leaders.

Those men in the picture are only seeking selfish interest.

They speak for themselves and not for the Igbo people.

I stand on true federalism.

This is not good.

The drumbeats of war should stop. In wars or conflicts, everybody is a loser.

The sad thing is that those that are sounding the drums of war are either living outside Nigeria like Nnamdi Kanu,or they were born after the Civil war.

Even those here on Nairaland thinks Violence and war, is like what they see on action and war movies. Where the shooting looks like fun.

In conflicts, loved one's and relatives get killed. And lives are permanently and forever ruined.

I think you are over reacting.

This is not war, its restructuring.

OK so many people replied me and I will not spam the thread replying everyone but hopefully everyone who replied me can read this. I say this not out of arrogance but out of FACTS. there is something about living abroad for a while that opens up all your faculties of reasoning. You think better than someone who has never left africa. now if i have never left africa, my sense of reasoning will probably be like that of the police officer and most of the people replying me. things we africans do are usually exagerrated and irrational. our actions and thoughts are irrational BUT we think it is normal because we dont know any other way. I would have done the same thing the officer did if I have never stepped out of nigeria because the thinking capacity is limited. having lived abroad and having a more expanded thinking facility, i see a car pull up, i am behind a cover of cement walls and the assailants have no cover at all. I am at an advantage ALL DAY EVERYDAY. I CANT LOSE with this level of advantage I have. all I have to do is preserve my life by making sure no one comes through that door and keep my gun aimed and ready to fire if anyone comes through. all the while i am calling for backup. IT IS NOT YOUR JOB TO TRY AND ENGAGE 4 ARMED ROBBERS AT COMBAT. THE BANK DOES NOT PAY YOU ENOUGH TO DO THAT. WHAT THEY PAY YOU FOR IS TO BE A DETERRENT AND IF IN ANY CASE YOU ARE AT AN ADVANTAGE THEN YOU CAN ENGAGE THE THIEVES IF IT IS ONLY ONE WHO IS UNARMED. SO BY DOING WHAT HE DID HE ENDANGERED THE LIFE OF EVERYBODY AROUND HIM INCLUDING THE CUSTOMERS BY TAKING ON 4 ARMED MEN AND GETTING THEM EVEN MORE AGITATED. point being ? they dont pay you enough to risk ya life for 50,000 naira a year. this action he took if he was in england or america he would be fired from the police job for endangering the lives of the customers.

Your post is a disappointment. So because you left Africa, you think better? This statement in itself is devoid of common Sense, I wonder how 'better' such thought is.

Africans aren't living in the Stone age.

Exactly! I dont understand these people on nairaland saying he was stupid to have left the room. I guess they have watched too many american movies. The robber already killed two police men inside the same room as his heavy fire was penetrating the walls.

It's even worse because his ammo was definitely limited.
