catoluy: Watch as federal government will rush and stop this plan. Fashola stopped Nnaji from using his Geometric Power technology from supplying Abia power and electricity. Many Igbos still don't know what's going on this country. Your federal roads in SE; where governors and even individuals have written to the ministry of works and housing...allow us to fix this road for free if you don't want to do it, we will pay for it. They say no. Same with Enugu airport, allow us to fix the airport to bring it to Lagos and Abuja level, for free with our money, they say no. Then do it, they refuse. Always someone stopping you. Are you so incompetent? Excuses up and down. |

Angelfrost: No sir I was not... Were you too??!
The various media carried both versions of events (police and ipob). Are you asking me to wholly accept that of the corrupt and compromised police department, while completely discrediting that of the moronic, assertive, and restive so called freedom fighters??!... Where is the objectivity in that??!
I merely await proper investigation, with clear witness accounts before concluding... That's what it means to be neutral, my good sir. Yiu can keep waiting for that. I would make my conclusion on the reaction of the community in distancing themselves from the activities of IPOB by barring them from operating in their domain. How it transpired is inconsequential. The evidence of 2 policemen being slain by immolation is there. What further information do we need to mourn their death? We know the culprit and for all the grandstanding, there's nary a Nigerian who would be subjected to one form of crime that wouldn't report it to the police for assistance. Yet, they get all manner of unprintable names everytime. |
Education › Re: ABU Didn't Admit Goodness Thomas Into MBBS Cos In Niger Alone She Ranked No. 7 by voltron14: 10:06am On Dec 20, 2019 |
bizme: This is a silly excuse from the so-called Abubakar A. Rafindadi of ABU.
I personally refused to comment on the non-admission of the lady in question, while I waited for an explanation from the school. If Rafindadi's explanation is indeed the school's official position, then we have a big problem on our hands. What you have going on at ABU doesn't qualify as Merit list, but a silly execution of Federal Character. By implication, if the highest score from Kebbi state (for example) is 192, what this means is that applicants from Kebbi state will be given admission to study Medicine with 192 and less, while students scoring 300 and above from other states will be turned down. No wonder we have been witnessing killer-doctors everywhere in Nigeria, individuals without the capacity to become doctors but have been forced to become one by this toxic implementation of Federal Character.
ABU should stop redefining what Merit list entails. Merit list means your state of origin and political affiliations do not matter, and all that matters is your academic performance. The final deciding factor here is your score. By redefining ABU's Merit list the institution has become more of a tool to cater to academically deficient (and perhaps lazy) regions while students who have taken their academics seriously are being turned away.
What ABU calls Merit List, apart from being a dismal 45%, is not a Merit List, but a Mediocre List. And because it is ABU it is the devil's work. We have a problem on our hand and it isn't solely on the doorstep of ABU. |

Angelfrost: Nope... They did a wise thing. IPOB are a bloody nuisance; an ill wind that will never do any serious peace loving community any good...
However, that doesn't explain why the Nigeria police force is lying so shamelessly...
Like I said before, both parties are withholding... The police is compromised in this affair. Time will tell... Don't jump into conclusions! Were you in Orafite to witness the event or are you more informed than the police or even the various media? |
Politics › Re: Burial Poster Of ACP Oliver Abbey, Killed By Suspected IPOB Members In Anambra by voltron14: 9:59am On Dec 20, 2019 |
hardbody: A policeman was killed, same way civilians get killed. Period.
Being IPOB or Rivers state indigene is not a factor in the death equation. If you dont have anything sensible to say you could simply write R.I.P and move on. |
Education › Re: Why FG Is Insisting On IPPIS – ASUU by voltron14: 9:58am On Dec 20, 2019 |
lobell: Getting the money to pay is not difficult. The students will bear the brunt. The implication is that, only children of the rich can afford to pay the fees like we have in private universities. This will further deepen the divide between the rich and the poor. Which is what ASUU would prefer to financial oversight by the government. Divide the child in two as one of the women before Solomon said. |
Politics › Re: Burial Poster Of ACP Oliver Abbey, Killed By Suspected IPOB Members In Anambra by voltron14: 9:51am On Dec 20, 2019 |
Angelfrost: My good sir, I have twisted nothing!!! I have merely expressed my doubts and distrust due to the paucity of evidence from both parties, especially a supposedly law enforcement agency.
The police are seriously playing games with the truth and the minds of the gullible. Perhaps the orafite community that barred their activities after the slayings are playing games too. |
Politics › Re: Burial Poster Of ACP Oliver Abbey, Killed By Suspected IPOB Members In Anambra by voltron14: 9:44am On Dec 20, 2019 |
Angelfrost: Everyone knows they are not everywhere in the East... Are they omnipresent??!... Is Boko Haram everywhere in the far North??!... But that was always the boast of IPOB. In any case, we know they are in Orafite the home of their lawyer. Twist this story anyway you like, the evidence of 2 police officers killed is there. Note: The Oraifite Community in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State has banned the activities of members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra in the area. Also banned in the community were six masquerade groups. This followed the fracas that claimed the lives of two police officers in the community on Monday. |

Angelfrost: Let's not get ahead of ourselves here... The key term is "suspected" or "alleged"!!!
Most of us get quite offended when we pointedly blame most, if not all, criminal activities on Fulani herdsmen... But, don't bat an eyelid when it comes to putting down IPOB. Do people ever give Fulani the benefit of doubt? The circumstances surrounding ACP Abbey's death already puts IPOB in the vicinity considering the person whose arrest they were going to effect was a lawyer for IPOB. |
