stealthtiger: Yeah , but thats for High schoolers resding in the UK or other eligible countries.
The Goldman Sachs summer internship is available to all Universities in Nigeria and Ghana.
It's just all about your capability to pass the online test and interview then you're good to go.
Students from Unilag most especially then Covenant, OAU have participated in the internships. But it's open to everyone.
For the Software analyst position you'll take the test either in Math or by Solving a programning question on Hackerrank.
It's highly advised to solve lots of coding problems on Hackerrank because they get questions from there. So start studying their math and coding quiz on Hackerrank.com. But in the test you're allowed to choose either math or programning.
Their math questions are usually university level calculus, college algebra, number theory, probability and statistical distribution, discrete math, trigonometry.
So start preparing because it's highly competitive. There are cowbell math champions that participate in the test to get a slot.
I personally know one that went to UK for the GS internship last year.
But you can triumph over all if you put in quality preparation from now.
Good luck. Thanks so much for this. I will begin to put things in place. PS: Is it a paid or unpaid internship? Man's gonna need some cash |

Good morning guys! I want to know how much the battery of the HP 650 Notebook would cost.
And on another laptop, I installed Photoshop CC with Creative Cloud but had to uninstall after the trial period. Now I tried to reinstall it but it's not working, it'll just start then roll back with no error message. Any fixes? Or sites to download cracked software |

From what I think I know, you don't have to spend another 5 years in school. Kruger in some other threads mentioned that you don't need to have a degree in Computer related courses to get a job, mostly it's certifications that pave ways in relation to job opportunities. I believe you can study and learn a lot more than most graduates of that course... It's your passion and if you like it enough to consider an extra five years, I'm sure you'll be able to find a good walkaround to your dilemma. Let the elders come and handle this... I need advice too I don't know if Bossman will be available or tescoman90 but I'm sure more help will turn up. Cheers! |

stealthtiger: Yeah they should have summer internships for high school students. At least I'm sure of goldman sachs in the UK.
Even 3 of my friends here in Unilag from computer engineering and science got 3 months internship placement in Goldman Sachs, London. I didn't know High Schoolers had that opportunity... But uni huh. I'll be attending a federal university as well once the strike is called off, do you think this kinda internships are available in all or just a select few? Also, do you have any materials regarding this? I'd like to go through them. Thanks! |

I think the Troublemakerpro has been given a mouth-watering opportunity and from my view, I don't think he's the bad type (he might just sound that way to attract flies).... No doubt!!! This is malware and can harm your files and compromise security.
If you are on win 10, update it and watch it do some magic.
Otherwise, Re-install the OS.
*Cheers* Thanks, but it's Win 7 It's stopped now after installing an antivirus but I'm still not sure if it's fixed |

NewAjala: After consuming that lump of food last night before sleeping at about 10pm na so these young white guys storm my room like Invaders.
They are all students from Belgium and have been in Kumasi for three weeks for a volunteer program, though they are returning back today..
I asked them to visit Nigeria and volunteer too but surprisingly they said they are scared because of VOODOO as where told to them by a NIGERIAN DOCTOR!!!
i was disappointed because that doctor just spoil our image before these guys.. Yes there is voodoo but does that make Nigeria unsafe??
I just told them there's no difference between Nigeria and Ghana and the voodoo practice is across board doesn't mean you will die when you visit and Thank God I cleared their mindset about it.
We still need to help Nigeria to grow Nigeria.. This is the reason Nigeria tourism industry is lying fallow. Word of mouth can make or kill, I'd advise Nigerians in diaspora to use it positively. It seems like there's a lot of foreign activity there o, just in a space of 2 days. But what do you mean they stormed your room? |

NewAjala: So last night I decided to go out in search of where to eat after sleeping the whole day.. I google nearby pizza restaurant cos I really want eat that thing, I got some options and picked one with many reviews wey I no just open... Dressed up and hit the road (it's a 14min walk from my hotel).
I got there and I was like *am I sure this is where I want to eat?* because this place na big man restaurant o.. I asked the lady there for their menu.. Omo see price for pizza!!! 35 to 50cedis!! I just swallowed my saliva and humbly asked if they have rice, she showed me the rice menu and finally ordered for fried rice .
All my mind as a local Naija was just expecting to see a plate of fried rice n chicken but when the plate come ehh I fear!!! First picture is the plate ordered.
I was just calculating in my head because between me and God I know I cannot finish it and if I really want to finish it, it will take me more than one hour o... Yes I'm a slow eater make dem no kon dey reason me plenty thoughts.
So I Jejeli called the lady again and asked her to please wrap the food as take away before them See Me finish. So that was how I escaped the unforeseen embarrassment o. Second pic is the wrapped food in my hotel.
Food was 25cedis. All the waka to and fro was through Google Maps. 25 cedis is roughly how much in Naira? That food looks sumptuous... Only chicken covered the plate, rice looks like a cup-serving |
