Hello guys, CAFAN in Akwa Ibom just introduced an Anchor growers scheme in the state for 1000 farmers.
It is a CBN loan that will involve a company giving farm inputs to farmers and buying all the fish during harvest
The summary of it all is this:
1. You will be given at least 5000 juveniles @ N40 per one = N200,000
2. You will be given 150 bags of a Nigerian feed at N6000 per bag =N900,000
3. cash for the farm management n salaries
Everything will sum up to about 1.3m
Note: you will not be given physical money but the inputs will be supplied to you.
At the end of 3 months, the uptaker will come and harvest your fish and pay N500 per kilo
You are meant to have atleast 3250kg of fish at harvest to qualify for another loan.

Please kindly assist to analysis
Is the pricing ok for the fingerlings and feed?
The price per kilo is it okay too since they r buying all at once.
then, will d 150 bags of feed be enough to grow them to 650g in 3 months?

Venue: The Federal Treasury Academy, Orozo, Abuja, FCT.

 

Kindly note the following:

 

·              Please come along with one of the following nationally accepted ID cards (International passport, Drivers’ License, National Voters card and National ID Card/National ID registration slip), NYSC Discharge Certificate and originals of academic credentials including birth certificate and primary school leaving certificate) 

·              Candidates found to be in possession of falsified document or mode of Identity will be handed over to the police and security operatives at the venue.

·              Candidates above 35 years (the official recruitment age for N-power programs) will be asked to return home at the point of registration. BE WARNED!

·              The presentation of falsified documents is a criminal offence. 

 

Registration

·         Check in/Registration commences at 4.30pm and closes at exactly 8pm on the registration day.

·         Forwarding of this email and failure to be on the grounds at this time means forfeiture of the training slot to another candidate.

·         Kindly bring along an official form of identification and two (2) passport-size photographs for this process.

·         Please ensure to have your Bank details: [account number /sort code/ bank name]; and also ensure that your BVN is linked to your Bank Account.

 

Trainees should also note the following:

 

1. The training venue is on the outskirts of town, you are therefore advised to pack for a week-long absence from home, including warm clothing, an umbrella, comfortable walking shoes, etc due to current weather conditions.

 

2. Whilst your accommodation and feeding will be covered from your arrival to departure, note that essential toiletries, 2 bed-sheets, will be necessary. A transportation stipend will be paid to your bank account following your attendance.

 

3. Kindly bring to our attention any concerns that may prevent your full attendance at the training, as 100% attendance is a precondition of your selection. Please contact us BEFORE the registration date so the slot can be offered to somebody else.

Dressing

Take a Bus to Nyanya then take a bus or Keke to Federal Treasury Academy, Orozo. It’s just after the Federal Technical College. Both are on the right side of the road. The training academy is in the same axis as Loyola Jesuit College.

The check oil level light indicates that ur engine oil is low....if u know how to check the oil level by pressing d buttons on d dashboard, you will be able to see the amount of oil you need to add.

as for BAS n ESP.....change your break light switch, its located under the break pedal.

I drive Benz 240 and I enjoy it so much until of recent when I noticed oil spill on the engine, it was fixed and yet the oil indicator on the dash board kept beeping, also on the dash board it display some messages like Break assistant system (BAS) visit workshop, ESP, my rewire n mechanic couldn't provide solution to it as I notice the car cannot move as it used to...pls any solution to this?

With the price of fish now,shifting to durante sinking pellet (it cost 350/kg) after two months will still give good result instead of the stress of pelletizing..most of the local ingredients are not even pure again..

Who made you a failed fishfarmer? that it didn't work well initially,is to educate you that somethings wasn't done well,it might even be your fish seeds. So be encourage, the Truthful ones will tell you they had faced one challenge or the other from their expliots. For price keep 400,so as not to fear,the left over,you keep. Dont buy all your feed at once,buy in batches. Introduce aquapro & livestovit in your regime this time

Good evening to all my Ogas here....i have been a fish farmer for sometimes (though still leaning) , in the spirit of expansion, i want to add poultry to the chain, the land measuring 100/100 somewhere in nasarawa state, i am having issues with where to position the layers pen, fencing is completed with borehole an other materials ready, i want to use battery cage. one of my oga advice i should build the poultry pen against the sun, another said its best facing the sun for proper sunlight inside the pen, i will really appreciate all experienced poultry farmers in the house to pls help me out,i am considering 2 coshes of block round with wire mesh to complete itto the roofing level. anyone with good picture of poultry should kindly post

Ok if u say so. We should not stop tweeting until our stipends are paid. Monies for our stipends was included in the 2016 budget and by Fg extending 2016 budget implementation till march this year we should all en masse demand that our stipends be paid.
