PoliticsRe: Lagos APC Links Osinbajo, Oshiomhole, Others To Ambode’s Property, N50M Bribery by Wada3: 6:52am On Oct 03, 2018
The information at my disposal yesterday indicated that Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo called on State and National APC leaders to work together and ensure that yesterday's voting in Lagos should be honored as long as it is free and fair. There has been a lot of confusion about the election especially after APC national team released a statement that the voting did not follow agreed guidelines.
However before this, results of the voting had been widespread all over the social media from ward to ward. Sources close to APC headquarters said the VP had been advising that the best thing in the circumstances is to honor the polls except there is compelling evidence of irregularities and violation of electoral laws.

The breaking news that brought lots of joy, happiness and excitement to the face of every conscious well-meaning Nigerian in recent times was the confirmation and reaffirmation of Buhari/Osinbajo's joint ticket going into 2019 general election.
From the day of their inauguration in 2015 as the President and Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, these two uncommon leaders bonded with love and concern for the progress of this country never left us in doubt as to the level of their patriotism. In the words of Laolu Akande, Senior Special Assistant on Media & Publicity to the Vice President: "The Buhari/Osinbajo connection and mutual trust these two gentlemen share is an inspiration to this nation and clear signal a new day is here”.
Professor Yemi Osinbajo has been a phenomenon in the handling of his activities towards making Nigeria one of the greatest countries of the world. He defied the hitherto narrative that the Office of the Vice President is a spare tyre. His reliability and competence were never to be questioned, hence, the reason President Muhammadu has given him more roles and he has continually delivered.
As the head of the economic team of this present administration, it did not take Professor Osinbajo and his team long to take us out of recession which its seeds were planted by the previous government as enunciated by the former coordinating Minister of the Economy, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala.
One thing that can never be taken away from a great leader like President Muhammad Buhari, is his ability to identify a credible person who shares the same patriotic ideals with him to work with, hence, the choice of Professor Osinbajo was a watershed and epoch making in Nigeria’s history. You may wish to recall in 1983, when Buhari came in as Head of State, he made the Late Major General Tunde Idiagbon as his de-facto Vice President. Today, nobody makes reference to that government without calling Buhari/Idiagbon regime as a result of that mutual patriotic working understanding between them.
Today, history is already repeating itself for good, with the replication of unity of purpose experienced during Buhari/Idiagbon regime happening now, but this time via a democratically elected government.
It may interest you to note that Nigerians are more comfortable calling this present administration as "Buhari/Osinbajo's administration" as against what was obtainable in the past where the Vice President was dormant.
Finally, working for Buhari/Osinbajo’s re-election in 2019 is a task that must be fulfilled by every well-meaning Nigerian, in the interest of progress and development of Nigeria.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

PoliticsRe: Nigerians Drag Vp Osinbajo, Rename Him ‘minister Of Condolences And Tragedy’ by Wada3(op): 7:15pm On Jul 04, 2018
Coming across the disgraceful write up on Metro News by one unknown Verity, I was not disturbed nor perturbed for the fact that it is the handiwork of the evil guys in the society who are desperate for power.
One thing that keeps bothering me about sponsored blackmailers is the fact that they know that the truth can never be submerged.
It is madness and rash folly for anyone to write anything intended to denigrate a man, whose ascendancy into office has helped tremendously, in the amelioration of some difficulties faced by millions of Nigerians. My question is where is the humanity in those against government's top echelons visiting the bereaved to encourage them?
There is no doubt from the perspectives of the well-meaning Nigerians that the best thing that happened to Nigeria in recent times was the emergence of President Muhammad Buhari and his Vice, Professor Yemi Osinbajo. These are two wonderful individuals from different backgrounds entirely, but, most surprisingly and miraculously, share common qualities needed to redirect the already bartered image of our beloved country across the globe as at the time they came in. Why some see their emergence as necessary, I see it as a divine intervention.
With the 2019 general elections approaching, I have come to realize that some beneficiaries of the corrupt past and their cronies, are out to do whatever they believe is humanly possible, to discredit the present government, most especially trying to blackmail the Vice President at all cost, knowing fully well that we Northerners don't succumb so easily to falsehood against Baba Buhari.
It is verifiably proven that the Vice President's growing prowess has become an albatross to the activities of the bad eggs in the country, hence, the reason for their recent onslaught against him. He has been a hard nut to crack.
When I looked at the twitter handles of those disrespectful quotes about the Vice President by Verity, I realized they are known PDP blackmailers. Among them is: Henry Shield a staunch PDP member who worked as one of the aides of the former FCT Minister, Bala Muhammed. He has been the arrow head of those being used by the enemies of progress to blackmail the Vice President.
To put the records straight, the Vice President and his Principal have continually worked as one. His acumen has been so beneficial to this country as demonstrated in his approach to the revival of moribund national institutions and establishment of new ones.
Taking into cognisance the fact that strong economy is sine qua non to development of any country, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has continued to make impactful contributions that have created and will continue to create, enabling environment for a strong economy. It is no longer news that Nigeria went into recession as a result of the activities of the past government as testified by the Former Minister of Finance, Dr. Okonjo Iweala who said "the recession was as a result of lack of political will to save by the Jonathan's administration”. But, with the prowess of the Vice President as the leader of the present economic team, we came out of that recession stronger with speed.
The activities and contributions of the Vice President is far away from condolence visits as the writer maliciously assumed.
For example, the creation of MSME Clinics under the Economic Recovery and Growth Plan is meant to provide solutions to the challenges of the Medium and Small scale Enterprises in Nigeria. To achieve this objective, the clinics partner with key government institutions like Bank of Industry, Corporate Affairs Commission and so on.
Some of the benefits accruable from the MSMEs Clinics are speedy access to finance, business registration at 50% in some cases, product registration and certification within a record time. Already the Federal Government has launched the pilot scheme of the One Stop Shop Solutions for MSMEs in some states, while more states will still benefit.
So far the Vice President has visited several states for the MSMEs Clinics, the recent one was in Edo and Oyo States.
His ability to think rationally and come up with solutions has assisted the present government in the handling of economic issues. A good example is the setting up of National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) Innovation Technology Hubs across the country by the Federal Government, under the supervision of our admirable and able Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
I will not like to duel much in itemizing all the giant strides of the Vice President as the evidences abound. Meanwhile, it will be a disservice for the commoners who have benefitted from N-Power, if I did not mentioned it here.
The N-Power programme that has been rated as the best social safety net in the history of Nigeria as a result of the transparent way it is been handle, is under the Office of the Vice President.
Furthermore, despite all these blackmails and attacks on him, the Vice President seems not to be bothered, as a man from humble background, he instead doubled his efforts in the service to his mother land.
I am using this medium to advice and appeal to all who may fall into the hands of these vicious corrupt blackmailers as useful tool, to have a rethink. We have no other country to run to. The funds they are using to sponsor evil against the present leadership happened to be our common resources stolen from the public coffers. The present government became their enemy as a result of its anti-corruption crusade.
Finally, the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, and President Muhammad Buhari remain the choice of the majority, and there is no amount of campaign of calumny and blackmailing that will change our position.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

PoliticsOsinbajo’s Uncommon Leadership Style by Wada3(op): 8:18am On Jun 25, 2018
It is an indisputable fact that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo shares some fundamental values with President Muhammadu Buhari in terms of integrity and vision to rejuvenate Nigeria into a prosperous country. This is amply demonstrated in his approach to the revival of moribund national institutions and establishment of new ones.

Realising that economy remains the engine room of development for any country, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has continued to make deliberate efforts aimed at providing the enabling environment for the various states and Nigeria’s economy in general to once again witness a boost.

For example, the creation of MSME Clinics under the Economic Recovery and Growth Plan is meant to provide spot-on solutions to the challenges of the Medium and Small scale Enterprises in Nigeria. To realise this objective, the clinics partner with key government institutions like Bank of Industry, Corporate Affairs Commission, Federal Inland Revenue Service, Nigeria Export Promotion Council, Nigeria Export Import Bank and Bank of Agriculture.

Some of the benefits accruable from the MSMEs Clinics are speedy access to finance, business registration at 50% in some cases, product registration and certification within a record time. Already the federal government has launched the pilot scheme of the One Stop Shop Solutions for MSMEs in five states while more states will still benefit.

So far the vice president has visited sixteen states of the federation for the MSMEs Clinics.

His inclination to think out of the box as the leader of the federal government’s economic team has in many ways boosted the country’s economy and attracted the inflow of foreign direct investments. Presently Nigeria is the preferred destination for foreign investors while the stock exchange and Nigeria’s foreign reserve are on the upward swing. Professor Osinbajo is also applying ingenuous solutions to the myriad of problems in the country.

A typical example is the federal government’s initiative in setting up National Social Investment Programme NSIP Innovation Technology Hubs across the country. The focus is to use these hubs to fix problems that are peculiar to each of the six geo-political zones of the country and to ensure their sustainability the federal government is partnering with the private sector. The Innovation Hubs are tailored to meet the peculiar needs of each geo-political zone. For example, the North East Innovation Hub will support innovative solutions to the humanitarian challenges in the North East part of the country, and this will be in partnership with the private sector and the Infrastructure Concession and Regulatory Commission (ICRC).

The South South Innovation Hub is meant to find workable solutions to the challenges in Tourism, Education, The Environment and Oil & Gas, while the South East and North Central Innovation Hub is tailored towards solving problems associate with commerce, finance, governance and agriculture. Similarly, the federal government is partnering with Ventures Platform Foundation to realise the objectives. This unique problem-solving model will be replicated in the six geo-political zones of Nigeria

There is no doubt that his unrelenting support to various state governments, federal ministries, agencies and parastatals has served as a catalyst for the turnaround we are currently witnessing in the various sectors of the economy. Firstly, on assumption of office, Professor Yemi Osinbajo with the support of President Muhammadu Buhari rolled out various policy measures aimed at alleviating the plight of the most vulnerable groups in our midst.

To cater for the needs of poor school children, a school feeding programme was introduced across the thirty six states of the federation, whereby every primary school child was entitled to one meal a day. Similarly the N-Power programme of the Buhari/Osinbajo administration has become institutionalised and a global model for empowering jobless youths.

It is also worth remembering that based on the collective vision of President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Nigerians realised that Nigeria can actually be a rice exporting country. Today that vision has been realised as we are now self-sufficient in rice production. This achievement is unprecedented and was unimaginable until the duo came to the saddle.

Professor Yemi Osinbajo can be said to have brought innovation into the way Nigeria’s economy is being managed as his innovative ideas have seen businesses being revived, industrial clusters being set up, technology hubs being established and markets being electrified with solar power across the country.

These systematic and deliberate efforts by the federal government have helped to create jobs for the country’s teeming youth population and released the creative energies of the Nigerian people. There is no doubt that with the commitment the federal government has brought to bear on rejuvenating the economy that a solid foundation is being laid for the rapid industrialisation of the country.

It is also gratifying that serious attention is being paid to the economy as it forms one of the three major planks of President Muhammadu Buhari’s cardinal objectives in government. Security and war against graft are equally receiving adequate attention.

Professor Yemi Osinbajo has been tireless and focussed at ensuring that Nigerians reap the dividends of democracy as encapsulated in the ‘’change agenda’’ of the administration, and so far his efforts are reverberating across the country and yielding expected results.

As a man of vision imbued with rare leadership qualities he is not given or predisposed to inanities and trivialities, rather he always concentrates on dealing with developmental issues that can impact positively on all Nigerians.

From Kano to Edo, Lagos to Enugu, Calabar to Benue, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has become the man of the moment as he continually enjoys the goodwill and support of President Muhammadu Buhari in their collective vision and desire to make life more meaningful for Nigerians.

Perhaps it needs to be restated for the umpteenth time that with the various programmes and policies being put in place by the Buhari/Osinbajo administration such as the revival of the railways, agricultural revolution, and fight against corruption, poverty eradication, youth empowerment and support to businesses, Nigeria is on an irreversible path to growth, progress and development. This is possible and can only be achieved with the unalloyed support of the people.

PoliticsRe: Abuse Of Office: Memo To Vp Yemi Osinbajo By Yahaya Wada by Wada3(op): 5:16pm On Jun 22, 2018
Reading through my brother, Yushau Shuaib's article, about some decisions taken by some organizations, I was not too surprised about his motive for the write-up, taken into account his antecedents.
Ordinarily, I shouldn't have responded to this malevolent and unsubstantiated article knowing full well what the writer represents, but, for the fact that it is a deliberate attempt to drag the reputation of a man that has clearly shown a high level of patriotism, the Vice President of our beloved country, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, into mud. I have mandated myself not to keep quiet, without informing the readers about the truth, hence the reason for this rejoinder.
Before I address the issues raised in his boring article, let me briefly inform Nigerians, that Yushau Shuaib is a known articulate and ready tool, to be hired or sponsored by any blackmailer.
Yushau Shuaib's shady deals earned him compensations from powerful politicians into some Federal MDAs. Among them are Federal Ministries of Information, Finance, Health, as well as the Revenue Mobilization Allocation & Fiscal Commission (RMAFC). The last Federal Government Agency he worked before he was exposed and subsequently fired, was the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), after his sponsorship by some powerful politicians from a particular zone, to attack the former Minister of Finance, Dr. Okonjo Iweala. (Link: http://www.informationng.com/2013/04/nema-spokesman-removed-from-office-for-criticising-okonjo-iweala.html)
Now, let me go to the issues raised in Yushau Shuaib’s disjointed and unintelligent article. In his first paragraph, he ignorantly and stylishly accused the Vice President of being the board Chairman of agencies, according to him, that victimize and destroy the career of innocent and competent Public Officers, through illegal and arbitrary means of political appointees.
May I remind Yushau Shuaib, that history would always be kind to Professor Yemi Osinbajo, for being the first State Attorney General that introduced pro bono to assist innocent and competent Public Officers, from illegal and arbitrariness who could not afford the services of lawyers in Nigeria. Think about it my brother Yashuaib.
Thank God, my brother acknowledged the fact that Vice President has a reputation to protect, and it is that reputation, that is free of ambiguity or doubt, that the Vice President is trying to protect, by refusing to compromise his integrity, a posture that has made it difficult for corrupt officers to strive under the MDAs he chairs.
On the issue of Bolouri Opukin, I expected that the personality of Yashuaib's status would have done due diligence, by doing thorough investigaton before coming to the public to make unguided comments against a patriotic Vice President, whose interest is about Nigeria's unity and progress. For your information sir, the case between the lady in question and her organization is about misconduct in service. Her office based its actions on public service rule (PSR) 030407, which defines ‘false claims against government officials’ as a serious misconduct for which an employee should be dismissed as ultimate penalty.
The Public Service Rule is very clear about the penalty for serious misconduct in Public Service. So, it will be unfair and callous for anyone to link the Vice President to petty issues as this. Although, Yashuaib acknowledged it was a claim, now the question begging for answer is how an experienced and educated character like Yashuaib relies on conjecture to make public comments? It is indeed very unfortunate.
As for Mrs. Mariam Danna Muhammed, I sincerely sympathise with her, but the fact must be told, her case is that of employer and employee relation. The Vice President cannot impose his decisions, or any other person’s for that matter, on a private company that is out to make profit. So, citing the recommendations of the Attorney General of the Federation does not add up, it was just an advisory. The onus is on the company to either re-absorb her or not.
NDPHC is private limited liability company and had the right to hire and fire, they can take a decision to disengage any staff without stating any reason. In Samson Babatunde Olanrewaju V. Afribank Nigeria Plc (2001)13 NWLR (Pt.731) 691, the Appellant’s employment was dismissed by the Respondent in a letter which stated no reason.
The terms of employment gave power to the respondent to dismiss for gross misconduct which was proved at trial. The Supreme Court per Katsina-Alu JSC stated; “the law regarding master and servant is not in doubt. Under this class of employment, there cannot be specific performance of a contract of service. The master has the right to terminate the contract of his servant at any time and for any reason or for none.”
As for the NEMA staff suspended, I expected Yashuaib to have done his findings before embarking on a futile sojourn as this one. The suspension of those officers by the Board of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), came as a result of the recommendation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), in order to allow detectives unfettered access to vital document.
It may interest Yasuaib and his sponsors, to note that the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita and the Acting Chairman of EFCC, Mr. Ibrahim Magu, both appeared before the House of Representatives Committee on Emergency and Disaster preparedness, investigating the activities of NEMA and made some salient clarifications backing the legality of the suspension of the affected officers (link: https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/04/nema-suspension-six-directors-osinbajo-board-order-hos/ ).
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation also made it categorically clear, that the suspension of the affected officers were in order, citing the relevant provisions in the Public Service Rule (Link: http://www.nan.ng/news/suspension-of-nema-directors-staff-in-order-hos/)
As for the needless comparison, let me tell Yashuaib that comparing the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, with other people that held that same position since 1999, is like comparing light with darkness. The Office of the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria before now, was tagged as “spare tyre” office, but the vibrancy and productiveness of Professor Yemi Osinbajo has changed that mind-set!
May I strongly inform my brother Yashuaib, and his sponsors, that the Vice President is known for his diligence and has not disappointed the majority of Nigerians that elected him in 2015. No amount of campaign of calumny and blackmail, can deter the Vice President from continuing with the good job he is doing.
God bless Federal Republic of Nigeria

PoliticsPolice Recruitment 2018: JAMB Reacts To Claim That Candidates Wrote Exam In Arab by Wada3(op): 1:30pm On Jun 07, 2018
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has refuted the report that candidates for the Police recruitment 2018 exercise wrote an examination in Arabic.

Spokesperson of the exam body, Dr. Fabian, on Saturday said that JAMB examined the candidates in the English Language only, and that no one wrote examinations in any other subject or language.

Fabian explained that JAMB generally examines candidates in 23 subjects which are listed alphabetically in its computer-based module, and that Arabic is one of the four subjects in the alphabetical categorisations.

Dr. Fabian explained: “Alphabetically, Arts comes first, followed by Arabic, then Agric, and then English.

“The software is designed to push four subjects per candidate; so, those three other subjects were dummy subjects that weren’t meant to be answered because there’s practically no mark for them in this particular examination.

“The Police recruitment examination is only in English Language.

“The instructions were clearly written, but we envisaged that some candidates might still not read them, so the examiners read out the instructions.

“The candidates were to answer 60 questions within the 45 minutes they had for the examination. That being the case, how could anyone possibly write four papers in 45 minutes?”

Fabian noted that Nigerians were afraid that because JAMB registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, is a Muslim, he wanted to Islamise Nigeria, saying it was a ridiculous claim.
