Hello Mhegar,

From what I understand from your post, if you still need the scholarship to study abroad, you have to request or notify the issuing body for its availability.

On whether you can get the scholarship back after a long duration boils to the policy of the issuing body. The best way to find out is by reaching out to the body.

If this scholarship isn't from a notable body that can easily pass any means of verification process, it is best for you to request the funds to be liquidated and make available to you otherwise, get another POF to support it.

Best of Luck
Good day Frank, from what you said here, it means that if the company isn't a recognised one, they should atleast maybe send even if it's your first say fees to your account right?
Thanks!

Hello Fresh88Man,

Don't allow this to bother you. This ìs the kind of 'beautiful problem or confusion' some people are hoping for.

Kindly send a message to the school about the issuance of her enrollment letter or how to go about about her registration. You may also want to point it to their attention she has passed her medicals.

Best of Luck

I did my medicals at IOM on the 27th. When I booked this appointment, they haven't resumed online booking. However, when I discovered that online booking had started, I filled the online form and picked the nearest available date which is 1st of February. That's how I came about 2 medical dates.

With what I saw on the day of my medicals, I believe it's impossible to swap dates.
Anyways, let me brief you of medical protocols at IOM Lagos..

I got to the venue around 7:00am. I met some people hanging around. We were informed that the gate will be opened by 8am. At 8am, people crowded the gate and the security man came out to address us. He brought out a list and asked those with 8am appointment to form a line. He confirmed their name from the list and asked them to enter. Next the 9am were marched in and it came to the turn of 10am. Mind you, I entered around 9am so the time was not a barrier.
Upon entering, you will be asked to show your international passport and your receipt of payment. You will be signed in by a machine which takes a picture of either your palm or your face.
There are several buildings which caters for different countries like Newzealand, Canada, UK, USA, ...... You will then be directed to Canada building.
There, you will be directed to fill this Google form:. /iomha
Afterwards, you will be asked of your passport. Next, you will be directed to a room where your blood sample will be taken.
After a while, your passport will be returned to you with a checklist of other tests you'll undergo.

Next, it's the chest x-ray.
Next, a urine collection bottle will be handed over to you. You'll fill it halfway with your urine and wait to be attended to by a nurse.
When called in by the nurse, you will be asked series of questions which you must truthfully answer. Your weight and height will be checked. You will also read some letters from a board to test your eyes. The urine sample will be tested with a strip and disposed of.

Next, you will be led to a waiting room where you will see a doctor. The doctor will ask you to wear the hospital gown with minimal clothing underneath. He'll check your feet, stomach, chest, eyes and go over your initial tests (x-ray, etc). I was asked to wait for an additional one hour by the doctor because the x-ray was sent to Nairobi for analysis and the result wasn't available yet. After an hour, I was informed that I was done with my medical test and could leave.

c'est Fini.
Hi, please can you drop the link to the booking site? Tired of looking for it! Thanks!!!!!

Frankrobbn1:
Your uncle (third party) being the main sponsor to your study permit application will drastically reduce your chances of getting approval. This is because it will be almost be impossible for a third party (uncle) to such huge cost for an undergraduate degree that is way cheaper in Nigeria. I will prefer you use your parents as your primary sponsorship than an Uncle who is overwhelmed with lots of responsibilities that include family, business and personal welfare.

I hope this information satisfies your immigration enquiry.

It will end in praise
Thanks very much ohhh
I will do as you have said!
But as for my bank statement showing gift deed hope there will be no issues

Who will be your main sponsor for your studies in Canada? Is the huge sum termed Gift of deed your only main POF?

My uncle is the main sponsor, he's covering tuition, while my parents are covering gift deed for living expenses, hope that is okay?

In view of the foregoing, you're required to provide a 4 months bank statement while your parents provide a month bank statement to show that the funds were originally transferred from their account. The notarised gift deed is the legal document to prove the provenance of the transaction.

It will end in praise
Also I would like to state that I'm still young and my bank statement is basically nothing (hahahaha), Nd by collecting a gift deed a huge sum of money will show! (for the first time in 4months) Hope there will be no problemhuh

Good Evening House!

Please I have a question! If I were to use a notarised gift deed from my parents for my study permit application, should I still show my 4months bank statement, or just 1 month bank statement? And also
Do I need the still show the 4months bank statements of my parents or just mine only Nd the notarised gift deed?
Thanks
