haybhi1:This is why you'll see some guys in the exam hall taking extra answer booklet and yet would still fall the course and the end of the day. Common instruction is too difficult to understand. |
No Arsenal FC supporter will attend his church. I love Roberto Firmino. More grace man if God. |
Zwooks:It depends on what you choose for yourself.... Just like choosing between God and satan. |
Dynamicboss:Even though this is a laudable project, it also meant that more traffic would be directed to Ikeja from the express. It will put more pressure on Opebi going to Allen Avenue, linking Awolowo road and also have more traffic jam effect on Kudirat Abiola back to Awolowo road. The pressure could be a little bit minimized if Aromire street/ the full stretch of Adeniyi Jones could be extended.... That would be an herculean task. Those streets are too narrow for the number of hourly vehicular movements being experienced on daily basis. |
What do you expect after a continuous rainfall of about 10 hours in an area that is less than or equal to 2 meters above the sea level? Flash floods are inevitable and such has nothing to do good governance. It is just a natural occurrence. We saw almighty Dubai under flood water recently. Let nobody rejoice over the calamity of some other people, because you don't know dimensions, when and how yours would come but, it shall definitely come. |

All na marketing strategy... Relaunching an existing product into a n existing market. Just like Pepsi and Coca Cola. |

TheGift:Bro, the documents was signed on behalf of the citizens of this country. The terms and conditions are binding on us generally and not the newspaper company. There's an active free of speech bill in the country and if it is invoked, the obligation would be on the government to release the content of the documents to us as a people. I hope you know that, there's no secrecy in government.... |
Lumig:No sane human being will believe any Nigerian government official when it comes to soliciting for loan or begging for funds anywhere in the whole world. Remember how Rotimi Amaechi became so embittered because the Bukola Saraki led HOA criticised the Chinese government's terms and conditions of the loan he was pursuing with them. Imagine Nigeria government conjuring fake figures on daily basis during COVID so as to beg for palliatives and funds worldwide. Remember how Elon Musk shades Nigeria officials begging for ventilators to cure non-existing COVID-19 in the country. Only an uninformed zombie will trust Oliver Twist when it comes begging. |
I consider this as a face-saving rebuttal. Why did Nigeria government under Goodluck Jonathan refused to sign the agreement initially? Why did 35 other countries from different continents refused to sign the agreement? Why was the signing of the agreement was shrouded in secrecy until we got to know about it through a newspaper publication after it had been signed, sealed and delivered? If you have nothing to hide, give your people access to the original and unedited copy of the agreement you signed on behalf of Nigerians, then, we will take you for the integrity of your words and your actions. Thank you 🙏 |
I already had all round experience of airport routing and everything that has to do with both local and international air travel before I had the opportunity of travelling for the first time. I already had contacts of different people at different department in the airport and friends that works with different airlines. I also have first hand information on almost all the popular international airports and different terminals with specific instructions at almost all the entry points. Of course! I use to work with a travel company and I was very active in the business. So, flying for the first time was just as normal as travelling on a bus. The most fascinating thing for me was flying over Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. It was a beautiful scenery from the air. The most traumatic aspect of the journey was coming back into the country. I was ashamed of this country with ugly view below us while preparing for the landing. Least I forget. I took 2 fine blankets, 8 bottles of small wines (2 each from the total of 4 different aircraft that made the journey). I also had some earpiece with me at the end of the journey..... I was also changing my seats at will. I travel in the company of some of my friends. It was fun all through. |
Yhurpapa:Why not Tredeau? or monkeys were not found in the Canadian jungle anymore? Why not Macron, Bidden, Sunak, and many other good people from different countries of the world to preserve their heritage in their zoo? You preserved Nigerian names by given them to apes..... ! Bewildered! |
Ngozi.... Okonjo Iweala? Aremu..... Olusegun Obasanjo Nneka...... Ogwumike (American female basketballer of Nigerian descent) Why does the names of the gorillas represent only the names of the notable people from Nigeria ![]() Very soon Shettima, Ahmed, Obi, Abubakar etc will join the list. Our head is definitely not correct in this country I swear! |
immortalcrown:Your comment makes me to start thinking somehow... 1. If the concept of money is perfectly introduced to some animals in their own environment, would it change their known behavioural pattern? 2. Some animals are so socially inclined and well organised with hierarchy, order and norms. Would concept of money affect them positively or negatively? The love of money is truly the root of all evil. These saying is not limited to humans alone. |
Monkeys are capable of doing anything humans can do (in their own ways) if given the same platform. They have good interpersonal communication skills and research have shown that, the eyes of some speeches of monkey can identify more colours than humans with multidimensional views. Naturally, weakest among these creatures are 5 times agile than man with clearcut accuracy in executing tasks. Monkeys are wonderful creatures. |
https://x.com/arojinle1/status/1808602752936706436?t=CcyYxOioF1b4pFNocVCVrQ&s=19 A research that taught monkey how to use money had to end because some monkeys started using their money to carry Olóṣó (prostitutes). So, in 2005, economist Ken Chen and Psychologist Laurie Santos, both of Yale University, taught capuchin monkeys the concept of money. It took them several months. They gave each of these monkeys 12 silver discs with holes in them. Then, they introduced different foods such as Jell-O cubes, grapes and apple to them at different prices. They were tested with price drop and price rise. When the foods were of similar prices, the monkeys went for the sweetest (apple). Later the price of Jell-O was dropped and that of apple increased. The monkeys would buy apple even at an expensive rate when they have money. But when they're "low on cash," they go for Jell-O so that they can get many at a little price. Monkeys dey budget...nice one! They were exposed to different other concepts such as gambling and so on. Soon, some of the monkeys started stealing money belonging to others but that wasn't the craziest. Chen noticed one day that some male monkeys were giving their silver disks to the female for mating. The female would in turn exchange the "money" for good food (apple). They had to quickly pull the plug on this project because they don't want monkeys to learn this and get used to it. If this happens, it might disrupt the way mating normally occurs between them in nature. Tainkyu ✌🏾

Lithiumite:Practical experience in direct business dealings is crucial and supercedes any economic policies in Nigeria. I got a business loan @28% per annum. Just about the time that the loan was disbursed, there was industrial crises and scarcity of raw materials for months, which negatively impacted the costs, then a national crises. We couldn't start production until the loan because useless yet the bank interest rate keeps going on. No business can survive harsh business environment. Nigeria business environment is too toxic with serious instability. Your business projections will always suffer a fatal defeat with these kinds of unstable policies. |
Odotech:I think they know the truth about the economy and the right solution per time, but they are under strict obligation to dance to the tune IMF, World Bank and other lenders whom they have signed a memorandum of understanding with at one time or the other. https://www.thecable.ng/nigerias-low-tax-revenue-to-gdp-is-problematic-says-imf/amp/ |
Lithiumite:Nigerian economic system does not support this kind of analogy. Local companies and multi-nationals are folding up in quick succession, without any strategic intervention from the government or plan to protect the manufacturing industry from total collapse. Isn't it an awkward policy from the CBN? The manufacturing sector is gradually dying because of high costs of production and low market sales due to dwindling purchasing power of the masses and the only solution from the CBN is to increase the interest rate on business loan. |
No serious and well informed business owner can guarantee 30% profit on investment with the current state of the economy in Nigeria. By the time you calculate the cost of diesel, power, salaries, V/T, state government tax, ground rents and other overhead costs, you would consider laying of workers and shut down your production plant to retain your sanity. I decided to ignore the cost of raw materials, important tax, logistics and other variables in my comments for a reason The Nigerian banking industry system and the government tax system were meant to kill the manufacturing sector. |

Godfullsam:The guy committed the crime, he deserves the initial death sentence passed on him. His lawyer never argued that he was wrongfully sentenced but, that his CTC was not duly signed by the appropriate authority as at that time. Learn to read before you make comments. |
