My Multi tv channels no longer shows. The guy that installed it says Multi tv has changed their software. He claimed he'll need to take the decoder to their office in Lagos for a new software installation at my cost. Please, gurus in the house, how true is this. Is there anything I can do on my own as a novice to make it work?

Very true. When a girl rebuffs your advances, and now sees you with another girl maybe prettier, she feels there is something good about u she could not see.

I have two fears: 1) If truly there is heaven and hell, where would I find myself? (2) After retiring from active working life, would I have enough strength, sight, money, support from genuine friends & relations and all it takes to go through a retirement? My little fears though.

You must be working, or doing legitimate business. you must not bleach ya skin, resulting in your legs having rainbow colors and your skin burnt and roasted out.

I use a Kia Sportage Jeep 2009 model. I have enjoyed it for close to 3yrs now. Only problems I have is that my tyres are always picking nails and sharp objects. All 4 tyres have been worked on even b4 1st year. I also have dis noise from running tyres, as if road noise-proof is absent in d car. Otherwise, my Kia Sportage is a delight.

i'm currently in court with my tenant. He doesnt pay his rents, over 12 months due. He works but just doesn't want to pay. My lawyer issued him 6 months quit notice and another 7 days notice, after which I disconnected his water supply. The man quickly went to court to complain of harrassment and forceful ejection, asking the court to give him another 6 months before he leaves. Nearly 6 months now, the case is always on adjournment anytime we go to court. Meanwhile, we live in the compound and he hasn't paid any kobo as rent this year.

Retirement is supposed to be what it says. A time to retire from active work life. A time to rest from all the hassles one has gone through, trying to make a living. A time to go to some places, spend a little time here and there, purging your systems from all the toxins you have accumulated from stressful lifestyles over the years. It is also a time to be with your family, having always been on the road all those years. But over here, this is not the situation. It is another life full of uncertainties, fears and worries. Another set of working life, setting up businesses, pursuing contracts, taking risky loans and ending up hypertensive if the businesses fail. My brother, it is good you already have a Retirement Savings A/c. It appears you also have some exposures to the stock market and properties. If this is so, consider a small business that wont drain your savings and wont stress you further. Only my honest opinions. Cheers!

Yet the N200 is not charged when u browse. its left for you to make your calls, plus 10 free sms, plus Etisalat will remind me that I have 15mb to browse with and should ensure I use it before it expires. Exactly, u took it out of my mouth. The tanker drivers penchant for going on strike has become legendary. If a police man takes N50 from a tanker driver, the union goes on strike, if an okada hits a fuel tanker, tanker drivers go on strike, if the rain falls, and the roads are flooded, tanker drivers go on strike, if the Lagos state govt says, "hey, dont park there", tanker drivers go on strike. when they park on the bridges and the govt says, "no please", they gp on strike. If Shell substitutes one of their staff as a member of the union, they go on strike. What is this??

Dont even go there. If I use the word "hate", it might sound too harsh to describe my feelings to my present tailor. Right now, as I write, I just bought some materials today, to give to my tailor. But hey, I'm so scared how long and how many stories he'd tell me before the clothes are finally ready. If I want to use a cloth, say like May, I had better give it to him now, in February, even then, we will still fight before the clothes would be ready. I've introduced many friends to him becos he's good in designs, (which is why its difficult changing him) but none of those friends go to him anymore. They couldn't bear his unseriousness. I've had to use another cloth for a particular occasion becos my tailor failed me.

It would be a miracle if the police on the Benin-Shagamu road heed this order. Previous orders like these were never obeyed. What people believed then was that the police hierachy benefits from these toll collections from the check points, hence they had no will to enforce the order, because doing so will remove the source of free money. But if the situation is otherwise, this is another chance to find out.

Gbenga is only unlucky to have hit an Iroko tree.  The other govs have since appeared in court and like the usual thing, after all the noise and whateva, they will walk the streets free again, enjoying their loots.  I dont take efcc serious.  How many ex-govs previously indicted are in prison today?  Have u guys forgotten so soon? Na today?
