Tojued:Wow. Really? No UNIPORT evaluation for ICES? But WES will do for IPS right? (Asking for a friend please). |
Thanks. It was indeed funny cos same question asked on a non-naija blog received a COMPLETELY different reaction. Everyone was cool about the existence of such. The number of persons with same situations and the answers were so much that I didn't even need to ask again. But on here? It was quotes of desperate makeup and needing another, like... LOL. Half the things we beg for in this country are free. I know because I have lived in England for 5years. All the best everyone. We are all moving. Everyone on here. Adaoh: |
Yes. The ADR was long after med passed. Adeyemmy24: |

Hi everyone. Its a PPR, COPR announcement!!! Single applicant. Work has been attempting to drown me, so I haven't come to NL in a while. I love to read the thread silently :-) ITA - 25th April Day I applied - 4th June RPRF request (ADR) - July 7th If you didn't pay RPRF upfront and you get the ADR for it, just know you are getting it, but when? you may not be certain. (So, I didn't pay RPRF upfront, on purpose). PPR - Oct 3rd COPR - 17th, but vfs delivered it a week later. I don't know how to copy and paste from older posts, but I'm the person who asked what to do if you have a sibling in Canada that you do not wish to claim points from. My people on here started getting (unnecessarily) emotional and scriptural. I recall statements like: this PR process is a lesson in humility, swallow your pride and beg your sibling and make up, blabla. I ignore such talks anyway, as they are quite distracting. Dear emotional commentators, I appreciate your time, but: Life happens. We deal and move on. A story you don't know the half of it, you already prescribed medicine solely to get Canadian points when I clearly stated: I do not want the points or need them. If your points are 467, what exactly are you looking for how to add 15points again? #sigh People will make up when they do. And its always sustainable when its not parasitic. Anyway, I got to Canada visa thread and there were loads of non-nigerians with such PRACTICAL LIFE'S issues for various reasons. So I found out no particular way was wrong. What i did: i listed the sibling, got the additional points on my ITA, wrote a note to the VO, saying that the 15 points can be deducted as I still make the cut without it - so I won't be providing documentation for relationship. And that worked fine - Westerners understand that even as an offspring of another, nobody forces you to care for your parents even. It's not a big issue if you choose not to identity with X or even choose to be female when you're "physically" male. Other persons with such issues simply answered NO to "do you have a sibling in canada"? That still works. So do the one that lets you sleep well :-) I don't know my VO as I didn't order notes. Any issues, just keep calm and READ page 1. There's no need fretting, to be honest. I also think as much as are on this thread, desiring to get PR, will get it. Canada needs people and everyone here will go jejely. Oh dear |
Aruoture18:Thanks a lot for that confirmation. |
Elfmannisback:.. Great. Thanks Elfman. ICES may be way to go to avoid stories on no positive evaluation. I guess its the "Institute of Petroleum Studies" bit that was the concern. Thanks again. |
Good morning all. Please has anyone evaluated the MSc from *Institute of Petroleum Studies* under UNIPORT? Was it a positive evaluation? Someone is getting on the program there and wants to know if its one of those qualifications that don't give positive evaluation.Thanks. |
Bettybeauty:No. Not to do passport in PH. The Golu is bayelsa office. A family member in pH went there and got same day. That's what I mean. But I see you have got responses already, never mind :-) Good luck. |
Bettybeauty:Yes I have a number for Bayelsa passport. Did same day for family member in pH. PM so I drop his number for u. Mr Golu is his name. |
smslive2:Thank you. |
Pls help me help a friend. In looking for his 2 or more certificates. Any idea about Cisco Networking and Comptia A+ and installation? He's got those certificates. Does it fly? Anybody knows about them? Thanks for your help. |
kylexy61:Foreign work experience is the one you have got from anywhere aside Canada. So your Nigerian, UK, US, Malaysian, Ethiopian work experience is FOREIGN. Foreign to Canada. The experience you get from Canada is LOCAL. Hope this helps? And if i may add to help someone else, the day you arrive Canada, you are from "abroad". Those from Canada are "locals". Foreign is not only Obodo oyibo, as Nigerians largely seem to think. Cheers. |
Pacowo:DM me for a number if you have not found. There's a Notary around Egbu or so. But he's in Abuja from tomorrow for Supreme Court matter. So maybe from Monday he will be in his Chambers. |
Newmum0615:Thank you. |
Newmum0615:Great! Thanks! And please where does Schedule A go? Will that be with the data page, stamps and visas? |
Hi all. The application pages (uploading specific docs), I see clearly lists what CIC requires to be uploaded. But where I have "additional" documents that have not been asked for (eg, marital status - divorce), I suppose I'm to put it under the additional documents provision (it's just 1slot available). Right? So please, where does LOE go? Like where are the various LOE's I have supposed to go? Eg, LOE for POF, LOE stating the documents uploaded (aimed at making VO's work easier) etc? Please help. Thanks. |
Psychostar:Hmm why isn't it higher though? (I'm just wondering). I'm afraid its actually not up to average. But great for a shot at PNP. So there's hope! |
8.5 in listening to get your max from Ielts. You can see your potential score if use the CRS calculator. Pls google: CRS calculator. All the best. Psychostar: |
Hi all. I saw a beautifully put together Gift Deed by @cypha8. I am still a wee bit unsure who does what as regards POF (don't worry I've read all parts 1-3). If the money is coming from abroad, the giver writes and signs the letter/deed, in the presence of a witness and emails to me and.... that's it? OR do I have anything to do with the court here again? I would appreciate your kind clarification. Thanks a lot. __________________ Here's the Deed of Gift I saw. Oh great. Getting interesting. I shall figure the rest out as I go along. |
My dear, I'm a learner on this naira land quote and write thing. I don't yet know how to post the way you all do. I just wanted to repeat question. Thanks. I hope I've not requoted it again! |
Canadianfly:Hello House! Happy to be chatting here, finally. I have been reading all: part 1-3. Thank you all for the world of info out here. Please people just read, then there will be less questions to ask :-) My IELTS came out successful. Now I want to create the EE profile. My question is: I have a sister in Canada. She's got PR. But we are estranged (yeah, family issues, sh*t happens). So I WILL NOT BE CLAIMING POINTS FROM HER. At the beginning of the form where it asks do you have sister, aunt, uncle in Canada? Will I have lied already if I ticked NO? Or do I tick YES? But when asked to show her PR card number to get 15 points, I simply decline? (As I stated, I will not be needing those 15 points). Hopefully someone will put me through on which part to tick what. I do not want to mess it up by ticking one and the other would be what I should have done. Thanks all. PS: @Newmum ayam coming for u :-) NOC Queen. |
Thanks. But you do not ask from people who will not give you. And make up is best when its not borne out of a need to obtain: either way. But thanks. njbybrthnly: |
