Chokolee: My real woman should be imperfect..should not have too many good qualities..atleast i would know she is real..You are very right! |
My wife does...... ![]() |
hrmkz: Loverboy.Loverboy?No!.....loverman instead! ![]() |
She's the one you call when you're bored because she makes you laugh. She's the one you talk to when you're feeling down because she's willing to lend an ear & be a friend. She's not the one you call when you need a date to your company's Christmas party, or to go dancing with on a Saturday night. She's the one you spend time with between girlfriends, before you find "The One." You know, the one who you keep around in the meantime. She's not one of the guys, not a tomboy, but you don't look at her as a 'real' woman, either. She's not b**chy enough, or moody enough to be seen in that light. She's too laid-back, too easily amused by the same things your male buddies are amused by. She's too understanding, too comfortable; she doesn't make you feel nervous or excited the way a 'real' woman does. But she's cool, and nice, and funny, & attractive enough that when you're lonely & need female companionship, she'll do just fine. You don't have to wine & dine her because she knows the real you already, & you don't have any facades to keep up, no pretenses to preserve. You're not trying to get anything of substance out of her, she's not easy, but you know that she cares about you & is attracted to you, & that she'll give you the friend you need. And you know you don't have to explain yourself or the situation, that she'll be able to cope with the fact that this isn't the beginning of a relationship or that there's any possibility that you have any real romantic feelings for her. It won't bother her that you'll go on a date with the woman you've been mooning over for weeks who finally agreed to go out with you. She'll settle for a goodbye hug & a promise to call her & tell her how the date went. She's just so cool. But deep down, if you really think about it (which you probably don't because to you, the situation between the two of you isn't important enough to merit any real thought), you know that it's really not fair. You know that although she would never say it, it hurts her to know that despite all her good points & all the fun you two have, you don't think she's good enough to spend any real time with. Sure, it's mostly her fault, because she doesn't have to give in to your needs. She could play the hard-to-get person like the rest of them do, if she really wanted to. But you & she both know that she probably couldn't pull it off. Maybe she's too short, or a little overweight, or has a big birthmark on her forehead, or works at Taco Bell. Whatever the reason, somehow life has given her a lot of really great qualities but has left out the ones that men want (or think they want) in a woman. So she remains forever the funny friend, the steadfast companion, & you go on searching for your goddess who will somehow be everything you ever wanted in a woman. You'll joke to her that she should be the best man at your wedding, & she'll laugh and make a joke about a smelly rental tux. She doesn't captivate you with her beauty, or open doors with her smile. Mainly she blends in with the crowd. She's safe. She doesn't want to be the center of attention & turn the heads of everyone in the room, but she wants to turn someone's head. She wants to be special to someone, too. We all do. She has feelings; she has a heart. In fact, she probably has a bigger & better heart than any woman you've ever known because she's had a front-row seat to The Mess That Is Your Life, & she likes you anyway. She obviously sees something worthwhile & redeeming in you because although you've given her nothing. |
Waleadex is the name I am called...I hereby introduce myself. |
@ OP I am so disappointed in you. |
brixton: Daft examples... Drogba, lampard and co were older than AVB. U dig?I think the boss he refers to here is the club owner, and not the coach. |
bbulldog: Na wah 4 all dis naija press o!!!! Na dem dey even dey cause unnecessary fight between all dis artisteMay God help us.... |
I wonder.....hmm redcliff: lol. the PROUND is whats actually funny. but on a more serious note, D'banj is actually losing his naija presence and love. My boss and the company staffs went to an sos orphanage at ISOLO and he was asking the children, "do you like "d'banj, p-square, wandecoal, iceprince, Wizkid, tuface". THe very shocking and surprising thing was when he mentioned D'banj the "NO" that those children responded with , in my mind i just knew that D'banj has lost the hearts of the people that once loved him. For common children who just have that prejudice against him then his case is really bad. I give him 3 more years and he is out for good |
dabrake: nonsense. Must the boss be richer? Is messi not richer than tito? Is rvp and rooney not richer than alex fuckerson?Don't get him wrong, they r friends.Besides, the fast that Don J produced for D'banj did nt make him his boss. What happened between them is not new in entertainment biz.So it should nt be an issue as such. |
![]() gudnex22: make dem come make i teach them manars |
omiobo: Why would people compare musician to producer? This is one of the Nigerians behavior that piss me off? People should stop hating, Dbanj will excel,Don Jazzy too will excel but on a different level.May God bless you more my brother! |
Sometimes I feel so embarrassed the way some NLanders register their comments on this site. This story is not true, ahba!Assuming it truly happened, why do people believe Don Jazzy was D'banj's boss? They were(are) friends and it s just natural for friends to have disputes between them, and with time they will settle it.It happened to a number of groups/artistes and music goes on.Most of you don't even want to believe that D'banj is older than Don J.I sincerely love both of them and with time I believe the issue between them will be settled.60% of those who criticise either Don J or D'banj don't even know the genesis of the problem between them.If we can not do anything to settle the dipute between them, let's allow them do their things.Life goes on! |

chief batiatus: @ poster, you are lying, you were not once a pastor, you are a muslim and it hurts you badly to see the president sitting in a church which is not a brain-washed muslims are trained to accept. You are afraid jonathan will use the opportunity to strategize for coming election which is something muslims have been doing both here and in mecca since before this country was created. Don't you muslims go to mecca before every election even LG election to claim that the opponent is a christian and that you need funds to beat them in election? The disgraced PDP primaries candidate of kogi in the last election - Oshosho by name, is that not what he did? In the whole of the north is that not what you people are doing? Muslims sell even their country to forward islam, who do you think is helping boko haram? Is it not muslims in the army and SSS and police? Jonathan must win the next election rather than for a muslim to come there whether he is competent or not ![]() |

It is authoritatively confirmed that the two entertainers; Ramsey Nouah and Timi Dakolo, earlier reported to have been part of the occupants of the ill-fated helicopter crash in Bayelsa State that killed Kaduna State governor, Patrick Yakowa and General Owoye Azazi, who was a former National Security Adviser (NSA), are not dead as earlier speculated. Sources close to the two entertainers said that they (Ramsey and Timi) both missed the flight that was chartered to convey them alongside others to Oronto Douglas' father's burial. A source who spoke to Ramsey after the death rumour about him said the actor is in Abuja while Timi Dakolo went on twitter to announce "God saved me." Entertainers were earlier put on high blood pressure when it was first rumoured that Ramsey Nouah and Timi Dakolo were also involved in the air crash. They were believed to have been contracted to attend the event which they eventually missed. Before the crash, Timi Dakolo was in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, a state that shares boundary with Bayelsa State where the ill-fated crash occurred. Okada are restricted on 475 out of 9,100 roads..... |
Well,I want to believe that most people living in Lagos are misinformed about this okada issue.Few years back, the State government ordered the compulsory usage of helment but they declined.Later on,other beneficial laws/bans were imposed such as :ban from using radio gadgets on okada, ban on using trailer horn, ban on conveying more than one passenger, just to mention but few. These okada riders delined promptly. The government had been fair enough to them.Just in 2011 alone, more than 150 persons died as a result of reckless riding of okada. We cannot continue to live like this. The fact that members of our families are never involved in okada mishaps does nt mean we should take sides for them. They are now only restricted in some areas not BANNED. |
D’Banj decided to throw the doors of his own hangout open On the same day that former business partner, Don Jazzy announced that he will be opening his POP Night club. Quote Here is D’Banj’s tweet: “Thank God its Friday, finally Ahmed we did it. My New club opens today, 82 Adetokunbo Ademola, V.I. Its called ONE ELEVEN. Partying 3 days straight.” With no prior notice the awareness was only created a few hours after Don Jazzy’s announcement. it is known that there is already a fierce competition in the night club business on the Island, and with Don Jazzy and D’Banj investing in new hangouts, there will be a new twist in their silent rivalr. |
Hmm comment reserved! |
This song is okay. The major problem people have with Dbanj is that he is stylishly diverting from his known usual way of singing.Perhaps, the Don Jazzy's touches are missing. But that not withstanding,it is absolute hatred to call this song a wack.I love both Dbanj and Don Jazzy, they are both good. The issue between them is like a separating couple, with time they will gather their pieces together and we will all appreciate them individually. |
