Big Brother Show: Painful Statistics of what should be an illicit business

Pray for Nigerian youths

Total number of votes cast during Britain Got talent 2017 = 6.2million votes

Total number of votes cast during American got talent 2017 = 52.1million votes.
Note: American population is twice Nigeria's population.

Mind you, most of the votes cast on either Britain or American got talent are *absolutely free* because you can vote on their websites & on the Apps without paying a dime.

Total number of votes cast during “Big Brother Nigeria” 2018 = 170million votes @ N30 per sms for a show that contributes absolutely nothing to their lives.

It is neither a talent show or life enhancing or promoting show. A show where adults are kept in a cage to freely give & take sex on National Television, while the organisers make more money from the youths.

If INEC organises general election this weekend and ask Nigerian youths to vote on their mobile phones @ N10 per SMS to elect leaders that will shape their futures & the country, they will ask Nigerian Government to credit their accounts 1st before they will agree to vote in that magnitude.

“Wasted Generation” ~ Prof. Wole Soyinka called them.

“A generation that play too much, sleep too much and engage in idle chatter and gossip" ~ Chief Obafemi Awolowo foresaw

A generation of illiterate graduates ~ Atiku Abubakar called them in 2016

A generation that are constantly not concerned about the deteriorating conditions of their senses & not bothered about their own future~ Osquare78 knows them.

We all must be wary of this generation.... they are the larger chunk of Nigerian population.

It is pathetic. 170 Million votes Multiplied by N30 = N 5.1 billion and the winner got N25 million plus an SUV worth N12 million a trip and electronics.

To destroy the future, destroy the seed (children and youths)...

Pray for Nigeria youths to open their eyes and for God to touch the hearts of those who engage in such illicit business.

So unfortunate!

We Rise!

Gbamsolutely.

Psalmistproject:
For those that have followed my previous threads concerning issues with Tinubu's legitimacy when it comes to being the president of Nigeria, I have made some predictions and we have arrived at the last stages of the process.

In my predictions I noted that the West is afraid of obi's presidency. Obi is a true leader! He has the energy to galvernize the entire Africa to greatness.

Atiku is clueless and selfish. She(yes she) may not really do much more than what tinubu is doing. The West would have loved to work with him but they have evaluated the kind of political instability it will result if another northern Moslem is allowed to head the nation, it will be chaos and serious anarchy.

But for tinubu, they rejected him in the beginning even till election day.
Few days after elections, various occurrences started surfacing. The junta in Niger presented tinubu with the greatest opportunity in his political lifetime to completely bury issues surrounding his real identity, qualifications and personality.

They were willing to work with tinubu all of a sudden and they underrated or insulted the minds of the Nigerian people and by extension, well meaning Africans. They actually feel that any tyrant can just start a dangerous movement of war in Africa without strong opposition.

They knew for the war to happen, they need a real dirty man that they have something against to push it.

Ofcourse I predicted how things will go if tinubu fails to enact a war in Niger.

Now, it's clear he has failed and the consequences are here to bite.

When they said exposing his real credentials will destroy his remaining image, it wasn't just in Nigeria but also in the US. The reason is that his unscrupulous act must have attracted accomplices. And this will shake up America's political space. He may be barred from entering US and his name will cast a long shadow of shame on Africa.

Now nobody wants that.

Have you seen any of his mouthpieces trying to defend him again since after the judge mandated the university to release his records? No! Not even for a media interaction or a twit.

So what do you think is going on on his cabinets minds? Everyone is better than him!!
You know, when you are deceived to work for a company, and you found that your Master is a wanted criminal, the only thought that comes to your mind is to protect yourself just in case.

There will be those that doesn't have anywhere to go. Such lot swims in corruption and thuggery.
These aides will try to give him moral support and ginger to trample on as many that will not fall in line. They will be ready to kill many and litter our streets with with corpse.

But these ones will meet their match from the north and also from the south south eventually.

He will become so much of a joke that he can't have a smooth diplomatic relations with another country without being looked at as a shit.
People like wike will grab his scrotum and go further to dig up the rest dirt about him. Wike will not desert him early, he will pretend to be one of the caring ones until he has enough inside information. After which he will start cutting his structures in Abuja into pieces.

Eventually, after the supreme court and God still allows him to continue, to teach him and others like him a strong lesson, the senators from the northern block and aggrieved southern blocks will start to push for his impeachment. Infact SHETTIMA will champion it.

The party will conclude he's bad for the country's image. Never in the history of the greatest black nation in the world has there been a known criminal with serious cases to answer become a president.

At some point, you that is reading this and defending him now will also turn against him.

There's a lot I have seen but I will end it here.
Tinubu will not complete his first tenure.

A governor so loved by his people because of how well that he has performed in less than 100 days in office constructing new roads and rehabilitating some of the bad roads that PDP couldn't do in 24years mis-rule.

Governor Alex Otti isn't bola Tinubu that is using propaganda to mis-lead Nigerians. The governor will continue to provide dividends of democracy to the door steps of all Abians and visitors in the state.

God bless governor Alex Otti

CultureOsu Caste System In Igboland by waledeji(op): 3:16pm On Sep 12, 2023
The Osu caste system is a traditional practice in Igboland, characterized by social segregation and restrictions on interaction and marriage with a group of individuals known as Osu (Igbo: outcast).
The Osu individuals historically were marginalized by the Igbo deities (Alusi), and as a resultHi, they are often perceived as inferior and segregated from the Nwadiala or diala (Igbo: real born) class.

Origin

The Osu caste system's roots trace back to the era when Igbo city-states were governed by Odinani, a system of earth-based laws. Ala, a deity, established rules for the people to follow in order to ensure the nation's prosperity within the territory granted by Chukwu, the Supreme God. Offenders found guilty of grave abominations were exiled to prevent the wrath of the earth deity and the spread of abomination among the citizens. These outcasts came to be known as Osu. They were either sold into slavery to others or were offered as sacrifices to deities demanding human offerings during festivals, ultimately leading to their enslavement. Another perspective on the history of the Osu caste system centers on ostracism. Those who defied a king's orders or community decisions were banished, resulting in the victim and their descendants being labeled as Osus.

Discrimination

The Osu individuals are treated as inferior by the diala class. They are often confined to living in shrines or marketplaces and face objections when seeking relationships, be they romantic, marital, or congenial, outside their caste. In Chinua Achebe's No Longer At Ease, it is noted that osus are designated separate seats in churches. The osus, seen as unclean, are barred from breaking kolanut or offering prayers on behalf of individuals outside their caste due to the belief that they may bring calamity upon the society.[8] This mistreatment has compelled many osus to seek refuge in other countries.

Criticism

Since the advent of modernization in Igbo land, the osu caste system has faced criticism from those who view it as contrary to human rights principles and freedom from discrimination.[10] Human rights groups advocating for its abolition highlight the punishments suffered by the osu individuals in Igboland, including parental poisoning of their children, disinheritance, ostracism, exclusion from social clubs, disruption of marriage ceremonies, denial of chieftaincy titles, property deprivation, and expulsion of spouses.

On 20 March 1956, Igbo legislators in the Eastern House of Assembly, Enugu, abolished the practice of referring to people as osus. The imposed fines discouraged the public use of the term osu.

Abolition

The Osu Caste System was officially abolished on 28 December 2018 during a ceremony held in Nri, the acclaimed ancestral home of the Igbo nation, in Anaocha local government area of Anambra State. The event was titled “Nigeria: Osu Caste System in Igboland Ends Today.

Additionally, on 7 April 2021, another abolition ceremony took place in Nsukka, Enugu, as 119 villages in nine autonomous communities in Nsukka town, Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State, gathered to eradicate the Osu Caste System in their communities.

Differing perspectives on this matter exist. The Osu Caste System designates some individuals as second-class citizens, denying them certain privileges enjoyed by those considered freeborn. These second-class citizens are prohibited from marrying freeborn individuals and are disqualified from receiving certain traditional titles reserved exclusively for the freeborn.

Various opinions and viewpoints have arisen on this contentious topic, making it challenging to ascertain the precise evolution of the Osu Caste System in Igbo land. Many Igbo individuals in the present generation lack definitive evidence regarding the origins and establishment of the Osu Caste System
