See people throwing banters . Always ready for a thread with Pas Adeboye's name on it. It's needless and unproductive to shamelessly insult this revered Man whenever he does his things. It's so disturbing, how some people, who have not added value to their life and immediate family could effortlessly call out this man. So appalling!Energies should be channelled towards instituting good governance in Nigeria. People won't be so dependent on the Church for 'solutions' if the government takes responsibility for proactive and responsive leadership. The Church is doing her bits. The government has failed woefully. |
excel101:Ajiboy parried the ball. Osas cleared the line |
Nigeria in the final! End of the match! Nigeria 1 Sudan 0 |
Oh Ajiboy! |
These last minutes are the most tensed part of the game. They can hold these Sudanese |
What a save from Ajiboye and Osas! |
That tackle from Ifeanyi was stupid and needless. He deserved the red card. You better take off Okpotu, bring in a defender and pack the bus...Shikena! |
That Sudanese striker is the poorest striker inthe world. He should have scored that. Mhen! |
Pls what is Okpotu still doing in this game? The coach should sub this guy. He gave out a ball that almost cost a goal! |
Nice one Ajiboy. Very composed on the line. That should have been a goal to Sudan |
How did thos Okpotu emerge as the highest goal scorer in the NPFL? The guy has a bad attitude. Losing possession like anyhow. |
Okpotu should have buried the second goal. |
The amendment going on with the electoral act is commendable but the timing is wrong. You don't just wake up to amend the law after INEC released the timetable for the 2019 general elections, that obviously is being reactive. Yes the content is good but why wait till a year before the elections? |
Pat Utomi, Donald Duke, Aminu Tambuwal,Tunde Bakare,Prof Remi Sonaiya,Dakwambo and Myself ![]() Now, if the ghastly incompetent PMB Could be repackaged to win the presidential election in 2015 ; any of these candidates could also pull a surprise. PMB will garner the support of the conc Aboki- some of them are still saying 'Sai Baba' here in the North even with the obvious hunger.Impossible is nothing! |
Entertaining game. Our final third has been pathetic. They should have killed the game during the regulation time before going to extra time. Their persistence paid off. Thumbs up guys |
writerights:There's nothing embarrassing about this. The ranking was premised on the effect of the research of these Varsities on the Nigerian and global community. Don't tell me LAUTECH lecturers went to sleep at home during the protracted strike without contributing anything to the body of knowledge. It's Webomatric ranking. Let's wait for NUC(made in Nigeria) ranking before raising an eyebrow. |
So my Alma Mater,LAUTECH,remains the best ranked State University? The folks there are very hardworking with the publication of their research even with the funding brouhaha from the Visitors. Still not surprising for Nigerian Universities though disappointing. The system is grossly under-funded and there's a need for a state of emergency to be declared in the Education sector. Nothing spectacular has happened. How do we expect a unique or different result when we keep doing things casually, without any form of ingenuity. |
Any news carrying Pas Adeboye's name, whether news-worthy or not, bloggers would want to prowl on it. Fault finders are excited and wouldn't hesitate to attack in their usual fashion. I still can't understand why stuffs about religion should border us when governance is at its lowest ebb. Other climes that are saner today made a critical decision about how they want to be governed and the choice for a structure that suits them. The USA has got a lot of churches with both fake and original Shepherds. However, they have a structure that provides good governance and won't wait for the church to turn their spaces to factories. This is the responsibility that comes with rational leadership. Why won't there be scores of churches around when government can't build affordable health centres, electricity, good roads, provide potable water and jobs for teeming youths. You know what happens? most of the uneducated/semi-educated population of Christians have got no choice than to go these churches for solutions like; 1. Healing(for some diseases/illness that could be cured in a workable health centre/hospital 2. Libya/Shengen Visa-When there is unemployment with little or no enabling environment for being an Entrepreneur. 3.Divine protection from accidents -You can figure our how many lives that have been lost on Lag-Ibadan exp, Benin/Ore exp and other highways in deplorable condition. 4 Lots more...that you can add And when they have their prayers answered, don't tell me they won't recommend such places for others and perhaps bless their Pastor! Expansion naturally takes it course. You would hardly see a German or an American go to the church for any of the reasons stated above. They go to the church to have a fellowship with their maker and in the process get refreshed. Why? Because they have a working government! Until we begin to have a better living condition in this country, we would continue to see our streets flooded with religious centres with only few driven by purpose and the rest by personal gains! |
Ok |
OboOlora:Stop spreading falsehood. Comparing UCH & LUTH to a primary health centre is not only an overstatement but demeaning. Both tertiary health facilities aren't in top shape but not as bad as presented. |
I don't want to believe this. Only a person with double honours in craziness and stupidity could do this. Anyone from that constituency could confirm this pls. Bloggers can do everything to get traffic. I repeat no sane politician (no matter how horrible his style is) could commission a single electric concrete pole. The question should be,to which purpose? This should be a rural electrification project. |
This is commendable. Resilience and determination, with the right attitude, can bring purpose to manifestation. |
A Tweet from Femi Fani-Kayode@realFFK Could this have been the words of Nana Akufo-Addo, the President of Ghana?
|
OP I grew up with this quote sinking deep, daily, to my subconscious. "When WEALTH is lost, nothing is lost When HEALTH is lost, something is lost When CHARACTER is lost, EVERYTHING is lost" You don't want to throw away the baby(your Fiancee) with the bath-water(low IQ)- She's got character! You need to figure out how you would be a beneficial addition to her life. She needs to be "polished" intellectually. Get to know her area of interest and make her develop new ones. Get materials(Inspirational and Motivational) for her to read. Ensure you get feedback and challenge her capacity for change. I can bet it with you, you will be seeing a different person entirely in few of months from now. |
DIKEnaWAR:You are wicked. See bashing ![]() |
doyinisaac:That will never fly joor. This conjecture is an imagination that can never change the heart of Nigerians. |
Nothing but the truth. If politicians in the north could speaķ more, on burning national issues like this man, then would there be a content of seriousness in the polity. The obvious division along ethnic and religious line is taking the shine, off this nation. |
What an informative thread! |
Escravos:For saying the truth in a perverse society blinded with deceit? This is what we need! |
The employment he never gave them when he assumed duty. This is what 95% of governors do when they are leaving the stage-when there is no more term to run. Most of them are so guilty of this. They pretty know it won't be sustainable with the meagre allocation the state gets, yet they don't want to know how their successor would fix it. Governance in Nigeria is a joke! |
darkchild64:End of Christianity? Oh never saw that coming. If it's not sanctioned by God, then allow the faith (Christianity) to continue without intimidation. No matter how persistent a belief is,if it is fake, it would fizzle out. |
This is stale. Absolutely. It doesn't make sense bringing threads (on tithe) that have been overflogged on this platform. A lot of people on this platform have made up their minds. Whichever side of the divide, is anybody's prerogative and cup of tea. Now Freeze has to get down to the grassroot. I mean market women in Osodi ,truck pushers in Jabi,Bend-down-select sellers in Okrika,Shoe makers in Aba and lots more to propagate this 'gospel' of no-tithe-Dont forget, many of them are not on social media platforms but give tithe. Since salvation of souls isn't preeminent in his mind, but tithe is! |
