This gesture is profound in many churches and you need to see how much effort is channelled towards this cause. However,the principle of giving does not necessarily need a publicity( Matt 6:3). For the Bible-believing/teaching churches around, this is no new thing as it is what is expected of them. So the recent bickering and cries hold no water, save for self-called ministers who are obviously not Shepherds but hireling(John 10:12)

There's the Prison Ministry,Off the Street for destitutes,Widows and many more who benefit from the welfare activities of true Churches around

Impressive. Covenant University is really setting the pace. Young Chaps must be encouraged, most especially when they merit any position. I hope this will metamorphose to the political space. Tired of seeing only septuagenerians Octogenarians gallivanting around the seat of power.

I don't think it makes sense to keep waiting at night when the traffic volume is almost zero. Nigerian politicians attend Nigerian churches so if the politicians are corrupt, you have to ask what they learnt in church.

It baffles me when you mention the Church as if it's not playing its role. Nigeria is a secular state. We are not all Christians for God sake! The activities of few self-called-belly-driven ministers can't be overemphasized. You can't just rub-it on our faces as if the Church is the problem- The government is!

Funny enough, many people think the work of the ministry is so easy that you can begin to cash in as you kick start it. . The recent criticism would never move anyone that is truly called. Mind you, there are many fake-belly-minded-ministers who the scriptures have spoken of from old. We are in the last days....They are the false teachers/prophets the Bible talked about.
