Education / Why Is It Very Difficult To Get Study-loan In Nigeria? by walexng(f): 6:56pm On May 15, 2015
I don't understand the kind of country we leave in where 'a few' are far richer than the whole country while the majority groan in anguish and pains over little essential commodities that could break their vicious circles of poverty been experienced due to no fault of theirs. Can u imagine what an average citizen go through due to lack of fund? Why can't the Government and our Financial Institutions provide a loan scheme support for education?

Culture / Re: Superstitious Ban Of Palm Fruits By Oba by walexng(f): 3:13pm On Jun 02, 2009
I'll like to quote Martin Luther King Jr who said that Africans should be taught that rejection of heritage is lost of cultural roots and he who has no past has no future.Advent of colonialism was the begining of our problems as a nation, Malcom X also after finding the truth about who we are.he said we are black and so we shall remain, they never said we should copy them,we just choose to at the expence of our rich culture, so pal,i feel you, you're a true African, we need more of you.

Nairaland / General / What A Day To Remember. by walexng(f): 1:22pm On Jan 27, 2009
sadI'm sad because of what the Government is doing concerning this and I'm using this colour to depict the agony(since red stands for that in African context)people of all walks of lifes went through on this date(27-01-2001).
It was on a sunny sunday at about 5:30pm when people of Lagos state started hearing a huge sound of explosion which as at that very minute the source wasn't known until fews minutes later.
Mother ran from their various places to their houses to ensure the safety of their families, fathers were not left out in the struggle as children also picked their phones to enquire the whereabout of their parents.
Little did most of us know that with the first sound heard, hundreds of souls had been killed and hundreds injured. If my memory hasn't failed me,Lagosians were expecting the then president of Nigeria the person of Olusegun Obasanjo.
People were displaced, lives were loss, properties were damaged, dreams were shattered and hope were loss.
Bearing all this in mind, should these people be left so suffer knowing the cause of the jeopady was not from them.Till dates, hundreds of those affected people still find shelter, food, tangible means of livelihood where is most definitely they can't get.
My message here is that our Government should try and help this people because their also Nigerians and should benefit from whatever Nigeria has instead of them(States Governors and Fed. Government) fighting over EXCESS CRUDE OIL FUNDS.
Let us do the right thing at the right time.
I'm using this opportunity to wish many of them who are still alive and looking up to God for favour that they shall find it where they least expected,to those who loss theie lives, may their tgentle souls rest in the blossom of God Almighty.
Romance / I Need Your Candid Advice On This Please. by walexng(f): 12:58pm On Jan 27, 2009
Blind dating is something that is really gaining ground in Nigeria and the world at large, there are lots of ladies and guys every where that take advantage of this opportunity to fraud and indulge in all kinds of evil acts.
The avenue to expedit their talents(so to speak) could be via the phones, internet, churches, mosques and business places.
My question how careful can one be?
I've experienced this before and also going through the same problem after dilligently guarding my heart for so long a time(4yrs).
I'm deeply feeling for this person in question despite the fact that i've told her my previous challenges, she seems honest and caring but that could be deceitful.
Should I go on?Please advice.

Politics / Re: Soludo: Obama’s Energy Policy, Threat To Nigeria by walexng(f): 6:37pm On Jan 23, 2009
Diversifying our economy is the only way forward in this country where capitalism is the order of the day, that's a good quote but he should have projected a solution being the main man in charge of the economy.
Nigerians should wake-up to realisation that the only solution is Agriculture and tax.Lagos is about to start and i believe other states should follow, Nigeria will be great again
Politics / Think Nigeria! by walexng(f): 1:53pm On Jan 21, 2009
The change we've all been waiting for has finally arrived and has been sworn-in as the 44th presidents of the United States of America.
The whole world stood in awe to watch the transition of power in a country that is believed to be the most powerful nation in the world,I can't but bursted to tears when he started giving his speech, seeing a man of intellingent ideas and charisma.
The question is, Will he deliver?
, Will he find the support and cooperation he's anticipating?
, Will the World benefit from this transition upon which so many hopes lay?
Will this transition restore the peace in Dafur Region and Far east Asia?
                                            Will, ?
A million question can be asked but the answers to all is TIME!
When is ours(Nigerians). Can we achieve that feet? Our political terrain has been bastardize by few at the expense of many and the fruits of democracy are being harvested by minority.
I'm no a columnist or an activist but I'm a Nigerian that believe in change and revolution, our future lay in how we live our today, think wisely fellow youths and elders, join the race as long as you're still breathing to secure the future of generations to come. For further detail and comments, mail up2u4ever2002@yahoo.com or check this website:www.futureyouths.org,

Politics / Re: Youths And The Nation. by walexng(f): 5:57pm On Jan 14, 2009
Thanks for the reply,Nigeria can be likened to a fertile land with alots of natural resources on it,for a rational person isn't this an opportunity?Sure it is,but once it bcomes infertile,he leaves the land, That's the implication of foreign investors in our sock market, the global crisis is killing millions of agile and able Nigerians who have gathered their money, thinking it would be well managed.
Politics / Youths And The Nation. by walexng(f): 11:54am On Jan 05, 2009
can't be too sure if the political terrain in this very country has the youths(jods seeker, students, ),i believe if we all come together to determine the course for the youths, then we shall be recon wit.A nation with vast resourses but lack organisation which is the most important tool
