The SW came with Abiola mandate in 1999 and the stakeholders gifted them the seat for peace and stability, what will they come with this time around?
If the Presidency comes south in 2023, the same stakeholders will make sure it goes SE.

1. The SW conflicts between Yoruba vs the rest Nigerians from 1993-1999. OPC led the onslaught from asking for Oduduwa republic to asking that the rest Nigerians vacate the SW. We saw that with "Oso Abiola", the several clashes between Yoruba vs Hausa and the dreaded burning of non-Yoruba youths by Gani adams faction of OPC.

2. For the north, the Sharia riots during Obasanjo's tenure. It continued till they used that crisis to stake their claim to the Presidency with Obasanjo denying guys like Peter Odili, Donald Duke, Rochas, Okonjo-Iweala etc the Presidency for Yar'adua.

3. The Ijaws began their destruction of pipelines, killing military & police personnels and kidnapping oil workers. And despite given amnesty under Yar'adua, the boys threatened to go back to the creeks if GEJ was denied the Presidency at the demise of Yar'adua. Similar threats occurred towards the 2011 elections and also in the 2015 elections.

Jonathan only became president because yaradua died in office. Nobody gives a shiiit about militants. If Yaradua didn't die Jonathan would have never become president. As for 2015, ACN and CPC aligned and launched some of the most vicious campaign in the history of mankind against Jonathan, they made lots of promises and won. They didn't win because of Boko Haram.
