How much were you paid to auction your life and the lives of your other 9 siblings? I bet a bag of Agbado is more expensive than the peanut they gave you to auction your family lives. Well done.....kwantinu..... SensualMan1: |
No no. Buhari didn't empower this guy o.....he was a truck driver once, then entered smuggling, bought shares in Oando ..big shares, crumbled Nigeria textile industry by going to China in the nineties to doctored Nigeria textiles styles and started bringing them in at a cheaper price, leading to the total collapse of all our indigenous textiles companies....he and his associates brought down the thriving textiles industry of Nigeria till now. He is an expert in smuggling of petroleum and other commodities to neighbouring countries especially Chad, Niger, Benin republic etc.....probably, he just got born again due to the Tribulation Tinubu subsidy is gone action and decided to give back to Nigeria as Dangote is doing beside, he's in his late sixties and getting older........Some might praise him anyway but he's still better than some people that takes from Nigeria and give it away to a foreign country.. A thief is still a thief even after getting born again.... TruthsFM: |
Chukwudi, leave Yoruba matter for Yoruba. Chocho mouth go soon lead to where you no sabi....Oya, dey go shop o...Ladipo, Aspamda and Alaba don open o ....abi you dey East where Your controller Simon Ekpa dey recharge your mumu every Monday to sit at home. Sheuns: |
This governor ain't smiling at all. I think 2500 is a bit on the high side considering the target the government is trying to achieve which is making life easier for people cos of the tribulation brought by Tinubu by the withdrawal of fuel subsidy. However, if you look at it from another point. They say Necessity is the mother of invention and also competitiveness brings about innovation. Our Hi-Tech guys should quickly device or invent alternative cheaper charging system. It's easier to do. I personally can do it if I am in the country. It's not brain tasking to quickly invent a charging system as long as you have the specification of the battery. Invent it and be charging the batteries for them at a low price of 500 Naira.....install your charging station system at every corner of the State and I can tell you......within few months.....you are a millionaire and can advance into big thing with the money you are making..... eventually, government or governor will be force to reduce or eventually scrap those government stations. |
Remember that the though the ship has sailed till 2027, the ship is still susceptible to capsizing. Tinubu old pal and mentor, Abacha, he did more than all these and you know what became of him. Tinubu is more of reincarnation of Abacha. I could even give you some confirmation of this fact. Check Atiku Bagudu, his minister for budgets and economy planning. This was part of the thieves that Abacha used to stark money in the US and other countries of the world. A guy that should have been locked and jailed for life but this is Nigeria, he was a governor for good eight years and now a minister. Somebody of such a dirty and nauseating past. Tinubu is a fake activist, a pretender, am anti progressive politician. He lied and lied that he was fighting the military under the wings of NADECO but it's all a big lie, he wanted to even be Abacha vice president but was rejected by Abacha and that alone made him to flared up and continued attacking Abacha on news media. He is not worth a dime. He's a liar and a betrayer of all NADECO stood for. Just imagine, he's at the head and has the opportunity to advise the National Assembly to review the military given 1999 constitution to be people oriented and supportive constitution but never till now. That's one of the NADECO front clamouring and desire. We have a callous tyrant and dictator as President at last. Really thought the worst was Buhari......so unfortunate..Tinubu is Abacha pro max. XY23: |
Please stop being tribalistic. Tinubu is a disappointment and we all acknowledged that fact. I personally campaigned against him as if I know that he's going to be a failure. Everyone is feeling the heat so stop the ethnic hatred. franchasng: |
Oookay, I said it. Ibos were stupid before. They are just getting wise ...na wao |
I guess u re a big guy and your inlaw too is another big guy. He knows ur worth that you are more than that 20M....so it's just decent not to refuse you. Nice2023: |
Njapride, I love your write up. You are 100% correct. The two tribes are one and it's only those stupid politicians that are always staging those two tribes against each other for their own selfish interest. 9japride: |
Lol....Likewise there are some monikers here on Nairaland that hate Yoruba people like mad even though they can't do without the Yorubas. They live and prosper in that Yoruba region but still can't stop hating them. They smuggle themselves inside night buses and migrate in droves to Yoruba South West but still can't stop hating the same Yoruba people you are migrating to live and establish a business with. That's JUJU....a real stupidity. He that live in glass houses shouldn't dare throw stone at somebody...That's an advice to the people and they know themselves. 9japride: |
Tinubu is so scared to his dirty pants to address Nigerian Youths. I wan be President, Emi lokan, Na my turn....You don see am. Presidency is more than that ...don't be afraid baba froggy, baba Seyi....just come out and swaggilly speak to us in your local American accent.... |
Prisoners of both countries looking so fresh as if just came back from vacation. I bet, of it's an African prison or let's cut it short.....Nigeria prison......omg! |
The IOC shouldn't have done better by not allowing transgender against a natural gender. It's pure cheating. |
Satanic English lecturer from hell. Now, I know you are really dementia. Just stay and be romancing your keypad for now until you have a better course to be heard. emkz: |
You sounded like a malaise person who is insensitive to Nigerian situation. You sounded more like our kleptomaniacs leaders deprived of all human sensitivity and sensibility. I don't have your time this morning but will hit your coconut head with a resounding kick start that we ain't in a dictatorship regime, not military. This is supposed and alleged Democracy. Therefore, stop talking like an erratic kid throwing tantrums up and down because of the obvious. I get better things to do than wasting my precious time answering an opaque specie like you. Thanks emkz: |
How acceptable that would have been if not for the fact that One bastard son of igboland is always remoting all Igbos like Robots with one sense to be sitting at home on every money making Monday and atimes if he so desires, will instructs all Igbos and elders of course to back like a dog. So sad for a whole region that I love but turned to Zombies and operated from Finland....... CriminalTinubu: |
This protests really began successfully than Endsars 2020. This has been my fear. It started massively better than Endsars in 2020 and that time of Endsars, the government of Buhari refused to addressed the situation until it boomerang. That's exactly what Tinubu is doing today, I wish someone could tell him to address the youth today unfailingly because the more you ignore and allowed the youths to gather more and more everyday. They would overwhelm the security just like Endsars and that would be a chaos..... |

This is the most insensitive comment I have ever read on Nairaland platform. I can't just believe that there are some idiots like this person I am responding to. Probably you are a family man eating and dinning with the lots of senseless Nigeria leaders or you might even be a paid fool to come to Social media and denigrate the efforts Nigerians are trying to pass to the insensitive and callous government of Tinubu. That woman carrying empty pot says a lot. It denotes empty promises your Lord, Tinubu had made to Nigerian people. That empty pot denote the lack of food in the land, denote the lack of money to buy things, denote lack of hospital to go to when sick. That empty pot signify also your empty life without a mission in life. See the man with her too. It shows that Ebi N pawa.....meaning that Nigerians are hungry. Mr stupid, go get a life. sIfioksq: |
The much anticipated protests commenced today throughout the six regions of Nigeria. It has been much of a success in most areas except some skirmishes that erupted in Kano State, Borno and Niger state. Also recorded was a slight disorder in Abuja and some disagreement in Lagos at Ojota between the police and the protesters. Police Fire Tear Gas At Protesters In Lagos, Kano, Abuja. The real cause of this protest is the fact that many Nigerians are struggling with high costs of living, food inflation of over 40 percent, Naira devaluation-- and a tripling of fuel prices and a sad continuous stealing of Nigeria crude oil by the politicians and their Cohorts in NNPCL. Also, among these are the high cost of governance. Eg. 23 Billions Naira to renovate Vice president residence, 160 million Naira for Brand new SUVs for over 100 members of the National Assembly. Regular corruptions/ Looting of national treasure without investigation or unending investigation. These and many more are the reasons frustrated Nigerians came out enmasse this morning to show their anger and hoping that the insensitive leaders will have the wisdom to address their numerous stated issues and avoid the disaster that could generate if left unattended to as compared to Endsars protest where the insensitive Ex President Buhari showed no concern until the protest became bloody after the government of that period sponsored hoodlums and infiltrated the peaceful protesters. Right now is the best time for any wise leader to address the protesters and speak to them as a father and not a dictator. A wise leader will speak with emotion and not empty swag and fake American slang known with this present leader. He needs to really be proactive and careful this time. He shouldn't delegate responsibilities to small dogs like Senior special assistants, media mouth piece and any other assistant as that. He needs to take the bull by the horn and address the issues laid down by the people that he's governing. Security operatives fire tear gas at protesters in Abuja during the protest today. Nigerian police also fired tear gas to break up several hundred protesters in the northern city of Kano and in the capital Abuja where demonstrators had joined in nationwide rallies against the high cost of living. Africa’s most populous country is struggling with soaring inflation and a sharply devalued naira after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ended a costly fuel subsidy and liberalised the currency a year ago to improve the economy. Tagged #EndbadGovernanceinNigeria, the protest movement won support with an online campaign, but officials had warned against attempts to copy recent violent demonstrations in Kenya, where the government was forced to abandon new taxes. In Kano, the country’s second largest city, protesters tried to light bonfires outside the state governor’s office and police responded with tear gas, forcing most of the demonstrators back. Several hundred protesters also marched in the Ikeja area of the economic capital, Lagos. In Abuja, security forces blocked off roads leading to Eagle Square — one of the planned protest sites — while several hundred protesters gathered at the nearby national stadium before marching towards the square. Security forces later also fired tear gas to disperse crowds in Mararaba on the outskirts of the capital and in its centre, an AFP reporter said. Many Nigerians are struggling with high costs — food inflation is at 40 percent — and a tripling of fuel prices, but many people were also wary about insecurity around protests. Comments of People Interviewed at the protest ground below “Hunger has brought me out to protest,” said 24-year-old demonstrator Asamau Peace Adams outside the National Stadium in Abuja before tear gas was fired. “It’s all down to bad governance.” Small groups of protesters also gathered in Kano, where Castellan Supermarket was vandalized and looted before they started to destroy signposts and try to light fires. “We are hungry — even the police are hungry, the army are hungry,” said factory worker Jite Omoze, 38. “I have two children and a wife but I can’t feed them anymore,” he said, calling for the government to reduce fuel prices. On the eve of the protests, government officials urged young activists to reject rallies and allow time for Tinubu’s reforms to take hold and improve the economy. Economic pain But protest leaders, a loose coalition of civil society groups, vowed to press on with rallies despite what they say were legal challenges trying to limit them to public parks and stadiums instead of marches. The government on Wednesday listed aid it has offered to alleviate economic pain, including raising the minimum salary levels, delivering grains to states across the country and aid to the most needy. “The government of President Tinubu recognises the right to peaceful protest, but circumspection and vigilance should be our watch words,” Secretary to the Federation of Government George Akume told reporters. The last major protest in Nigeria was in 2020 when young activists rallied against the brutality of the SARS anti-robbery squad in demonstrations that evolved into some of the largest in Nigeria’s modern democracy. But the rallies ended in bloodshed in Lagos. Rights groups accused the army of opening fire on peaceful protesters, but the military said troops used blanks to break up a crowd defying a curfew. Amnesty International said at least 10 people died. Nigeria’s protests come after Kenyan President William Ruto was forced to repeal new taxes and name a new cabinet following weeks of anti-government protests in the worst crisis in his almost two years in office. |
Really afraid that this protest is becoming violent. Today is the first day and sadly we are experiencing this level of violent. Tomorrow is another day, next tomorrow and next again till 10th. Even Endsars beginning was more peaceful until government infiltrated the protesters within 17 and 18th October, 2020. I am really afraid for Nigeria. |
The Senator Representing the FCT , Senator Ireti Kingibe has expressed a hope that the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike could prevent any violence, particularly in the FCT, and commended the effort if it could be achieved without bloodshed. While addressing her exclusion from a recent meeting between the FCT minister and traditional rulers concerning the upcoming protest, she was indifferent about her exclusion from the meeting. http://akoss.bangcdn.net/res/content/2024/07/31/20240731094256_-1706114895_3202351197207769151_640_512_85_webp.webp

Bunch of thieves. I just wonder why Nigerian at any position of authority steals. Could it be that their wages is too small or just for the fun of having so much to spend or the pressure of demand from friends and family since you are well positioned. Some Nigerians can steal for Africa! 😂 😂 |
The king is dead, long live the kingdom. Another king will take over ASAP.....kingship continues..... Throwback: |

Omg! Experienced doctors in Nigeria are all in UK, US and some better and progressive countries globally. It's only housemanship doctors or rather student's doctors you will see in government hospital. So sad so sad...RIP |
Olodo President. You can't bobo us, you can't divert our solidarity with your emergency buy back packages. Stupid president surrounded by stupid advisers and ministers with kleptomaniacs Parliaments and vulture like sets of civil servants....we need more things.....fuel should go back to 200 Naira per litre and we would wait until food stuff price goes down.
