It was a different i20 from another school. It could be that after scanning my passport, he saw that I had been denied before and probably saw some more details.

You didn't read my post well but We are both saying the same thing..

You are right it might be after scanning your passport but I believe he saw it on your ds160 form or through the UCID or UID appointment profile or the remarks made by the former VO but that's my own guess

Bros schools usually take bank statement between 6 months. Its not yet 6 months old na.

What most of us here don't understand is 6 months of transactions and not 6 month old..

I stand to be corrected, no one here never used bank statement of 6months old as you said to apply for admission the highest is 1 to 3 months.

It's because he was denied before with that school i20 and its on their system and also recorded/saved as well

Its nice to take along just in case u need to change schools.

Not nice because during changing of schools the bank statement would be outdated by then and schools will want recent bank statement..

It's only nice when school asked applicant to bring same bank statement scanned to them during application process

i told them already,what's the need taking a statement of account to a point of entry when you don't need one. Don't blame them though,they prolly excited traveling to the states.

though i am an amateur, i think waec original certs dont carry dates of birth no more, check urs to comfirm this, plus get an affidavit from a court affirming to the correct date, take that along with other palis..as to how to explain progression within that gap, my bosses on here are experts.....i get my master for here...am sure he is reading....he will b ready to help.

Sorry to ask where and when did you get this info? Because as at last year and two yother are ago, there is date of birth on the one they issued for someone..

I have been admitted into a graduate program in the US. Today was my visa interview, but I was refused even though I have all my documents complete from i20 to see is fee receipt and admission letter etc.
The questions asked are stated below with my corresponding answer.

VO: why are you going to?
Me: to the US for my masters degree
VO: why that university?
Me: because it is one of the fee universities that offer ICT and their curriculum alongside with my professional aspirations
VO: what do you do?
Me : I just completed my 1 year mandatory service to my country and I work with a charity organization
VO: What are your future plans ?
Me: I plan to come back to my country and impact in the younger generation and also as my country's IT department is underdeveloped I want to become a major player that would aid it's her development.
VO: who are your sponsors?
Me: my parents
VO: what do they do?
Me: my mom is a business woman and my dad a pastor.
VO: okay, thank you very much,but your application cannot be approved ( then she hands me a blue letter)

Please what do you think went wrong and what can I do? Thanks

This waec people are telling me to go back to my secondary school in Edo state lounge a complaint,and my principal will contact them,then I pay and wait for them to call me,Bros my I20 don arrive yesterday oh.

Try and understand that dem no dey catch late comer for obamaland..

Kindly do the needful rather than creating issues and problems for yourself..

Access that told me they don't do PTA. Diamond said they don't do PTA either. Zenith said they don't have. Don't bother with GTB they will tell you one story about a portal. Ecobank says you need an account that has been running for 6months. Same with fcmb and fidelity. Union bank said no. Unity bank probably haven't heard of PTA. Heritage bank said they don't sell. Spoke to a first bank manager and he said they have a queue up till august. I'm tired.

They are all story people..

You don't need to present soa at Poe before you will enter USA, you can only take it along with you unless your school asked you to bring along all the original copy of the documents you scanned to them during admission process

Then multiply the flight fee with black market exchange rate and compare the answer with the amount you have in your bank maybe is less or more..

If it's more there must be a new policy and that's why it's not going through but if it's less then you need to add more money to it..

i'll be glad to help out,I studied on my own mostly mid nights.I never had time to register for a prep class here Abuja cause of my job. Am already good in solving sums so I really did not have any issues. I Bought my GMAT textbooks from Amazon,I believe you can get them in the book stores depending on where you live. My advice,we have 24hrs in a day,if u can dedicate 6hrs a day for GMAT morning,afternoon and midnight,you will do pretty fine. Also search for online GMAT prep websites that'll help too. Goodluck.

Please I need the help concerning my local flight booking from Chicago to Columbus Airport, Mississippi through Delta Airline. I filled all the online forms but the application rejected my GTB card and Diamond Bank card with this statement "Your credit card authorization failed. Please enter a different card and continue with your transaction. #6000R"

Please what can I do ??

Two reasons for the rejection

1, you don't have have enough fund/balance in your card to make the payment

2, maybe the banks doesn't allow naira MasterCard to be use online anymore

M i to take 1 of the SATs or both

SATI unless your school ask you rot take the SAT II which is the subject test but the school will tell you the subject if it's biology or chemistry etc
