Well more than 2 people on this thread who are 26 years got their visa, so dont be panic, all you need to do is to work on the gap between the time you left high school.. If you can get that done you are getting the visa by God's grace.

Dunno how much you will need for preparation but have more than 200k if i am not wrong.

SAT is combination of Maths, Critical Reading and Essay but the form is not in Nigeria now but registration is out

You are not missing things, sometimes in the ds160 from it might not bring it for some people to fill it there..

The address doesn't matter and no implication big boss, but if you want to change the address Sevis/Ice/Dhs can change it for you but you need to email them.

My initial application for a MS program was for Spring 2015 but was denied visa. I deferred my admission till Fall 2015 and I was granted visa. However, at the mmt, arrangement never set well and I want to know if it is safe n advisable to request another deferment from the school till Spring 2016 while I stay bk in Nigeria OR I make the trip to the US ( I have funds for that), appear in person at the school then ask for deferment till the next semester. Please I need to know the risks involved, I await your helpful responses.

You can defer but you need to contact your school admission officer or coordinator and tell them why you want to defer if possible, A new update I-20 will be mail to you and that's what you will use to enter Obamland.

Will my B1/B2 which I currently have improve my chances , along with the funding & GTA offerred by the school?

The total cost of the school is $39,000.00 which includes Tuition, fees, Health Insurance, feeding and accommodation. The school has already offered $33,000.00. I can self sponsor myself for the balance.

My concern is that one is never sure with the VOs. For example, my B1/B2 interview took less than 3 mins while over 5 people have been rejected before me.

Has anyone with funding (partial & funding) been rejected and what is the success rate.

Bold 1... Yes it will only if you have good traveling history and you didn't violate laws, rules and regulation during your trip

Bold 2... Yes if you can prove to VO why you got it

Bold 3... Everyone case is unique and VO ask similar questions in different ways

Bold 4... Yes people with funding do get rejected if they can prove to the VO why they merit the funding either partial or full and also if they once violated the US laws before.. 99 ratio 1 ( 99:1)

our lecturers will tell you for any student to have a first class in chemistry, that student must be outstanding in practical chemistry along side the theoretical area but in situation where the school has poor laboratory equipments,how do you gauge their practical know how, which is very important in chemistry.

I suggest you write it if there is time so as to save you from a VO who loves to see applicants test score in case you fall into the VO hands

Morealso, the test will help you and also speaks for you without further question like why dont you write English test or any test

My visa interview is next week and i applied to only 2 schools. I want to know if that is too low and I am wondering whether i should add one more. Also I am worried that they would search the gre test sheets and see that i only applied to two schools. Any ideas please would be welcomed.

Stop wondering on negative stuffs.. Sometimes VO don't have time to check schools you sent your GRE to, but if asked why the 2 schools showing then you tell the VO that other schools didnt ask for GRE and you didnt bother to send the test score to them

I got my result now too; I was actually expecting more score in d reading but I landed with low score for reading BT for listening I was distracted in the last section of the listening but I thank God am good to go with my scores.

No requirement for such test(s)... but for the purpose of visa interview/approval, won't I need it?

You will need a test but try and write any English test such as Toefl or Ielts

You can use the two (2) but it better to use your husband own so that it can be link as home tie because VO might ask you while just your uncle when you are married,provided you have a reply to defend yourself no problem.. Just make sure you have sufficient amount inside any of the account you are using

I want to arrange apartment outside school, most of them want u to pay a deposit n I read a lot of reviews on the apartments which were not so good, I heard Craig list have plenty scammers too, im thinking of staying hotel for a day or 2, coz if I land tn don't find any good 1 on d first day where will I sleep?

Boss, keep searching, am optimistic that you will see anyone that will allow you to pay when you arrive in the state even if its craigslist or others, dont just waste your money for hotel unless you didnt see before you leave Nigeria

Don't worry. Your lecturers from school cannot control your GRE score, so if you believe you are 1st class or high 2:1 material, you should ace that with nothing less than 320. If you do that, you'll be able to convince the admission committee in US schools that you are better than your CGPA.
