Walspring: It's easy to partake, go to www.ets.org/gre or www.ets.org/Toefl and create your Ets account first. GRE is $205 while Toefl is $180, multiple it by 370 and divide it by 2 to get the 50% of the amount you pay..
If you are interested, send me the following details below, but make sure you have the cash with you at hand because I don't want to hear touching stories after the test is register for you. Also you can send your payment now or you wait the test is register and make sure you send the payment less than 24 hours after the test is registered if not the test will be cancelled
1. Type of test. 2. User name. 3. Password. 4. Date you want to write the test. 5. Month you want to write the test. 6. Phone number. 7. State you want to write the test. 8. Name of the center you will prefer. 9. Send payment to XXXX 10. Notify immediately you send payment 11. the exchange rate is #370 to $1 12. You divide the total cost by 2 to get the 50% rate
N.B this is first come and first serve as long as you have your cash at hand and I won't keep slot for anyone whose money is not complete yet
Terms and conditions. If you didn't pay after 24 hours the test will be cancelled and it will affect your Ets account. To those who sent me pm based on Toefl and GRE that I replied. Please login yourself to check the date available and send it to me yourself because I don't have time to do that and my own it to forward what you sent to me to the people that will do the registration Also those who sent me cash along with their details have an edge over those who sent details only because I will sort out what I have as cash first. Also those who wanted Toefl and GRE the same time, I am not sure if it will be given to you but I already forwarded that request as well, but as for me I work on first come first serve. Lastly for those who don't have the full 50% now I wish I could help but the last time helped someone thinking he will balance he didn't up till now and it's a slap on my face not to be able control this levels. You guys should register your Ets account via computer or laptop and not on phone |

ovieigho: Urgently pls: I want to get PTA from GTB @the rate of 360 to 1$ but they want to stamp my passport! Is it advisable to go ahead? What kind of stamp will they stamp on your passport when it's not immigration stamp. Some banks are funny no be small. They should stamp the back which is more reasonable and I guess the reason is that you won't get it more than once or someone use your details to get it again via back door since it's given once in 4/6 months but not sure of the months. |

anodebeanthony: I was denied Visa on 26th July being Tuesday at Abuja
And
My Visa was approved On Tuesday being 1st August at Lagos
After the first denial in Abuja, that day I left the embassy with broken heart, I went straight to my hotel room picked my bag and took a cab to GTBank and paid for another visa fee before leaving Abuja. It was a journey filled with tears in my heart and my heart bled all through; I was so weak but I didn't show any sign of weakness. My people were so sad..... Long story......
LAGOS I got to Lagos on 31st July and I stayed in a friend's house. And I didn't tell my people that I paid for another visa fee and they didn't know I was in Lagos. I booked Uber that picked me 4:30 on the morning of 1st August. My interview was 7:15am but I got to embassy around 5:11am and had to wait for the verification to start... Fast forward to the interview line. I was directed to the guy at window 9 (I can't vividly remember) he denied 2 people before me; but those guys bleeped up, am sure they were not prepared at all.
The VO was with one black lady inside.
VO: Good morning Me: Good morning (with big confident)
Vo: Tell me where you are going? And why you chose the place?
Me: I'm going to St Cloud State University in Minnesota for Bachelor's Degree in Computer science. I chose the school because they offered me a scholarship that waived part of my tuition and they have an exceptional program which integrates in-class learning with professional and practical learning. Their curriculum is structured in a way students can chose area of specialization like cyber security or software engineering which is what I want to professionalize in. (the lady with the VO interviewing was nodding)
Vo: Cyber security? Me: I don't know what came over me I laughed and said software engineering and he laughed too.
(Honestly, I don't feel like it's an interview, I felt it's a conversation, I was so free and smiling all through with cool eye contact)
Vo: Tell me about the schools you applied?
Me: I applied to West Liberty University, West Virginia State University, University of the District of Columbia and Morgan State University but I chose St Cloud State University because of their well structured curriculum.
Vo: When did you finish high school?
Me: 2011, "he wanted to ask another question but I was faster than him so I ride on with" After I finish my high school I got admission to do two year National Diploma in Office Technology and Management which I finished in 2014, 2015 I didn't a one year compulsory internship and in 2016 I enrolled in a computer education centre which I did program on Web design using content management system, graphic design, digital marketing and search engine optimization. He cut me
Vo: What is the name of the place you did the program?
Me: I told him
Vo: What do you do now?
Me: Am currently doing an unpaid internship where I tutor high school graduates voluntary on WordPress development and search engine optimization.
VO: What is search engine optimization?
Me: (before he finished pronouncing the optimization) I don dey define the thing like whose lose brake. He was impressed same with the lady because they turn off the mic for me not to hear what they were saying and they were smiling and talking. He turned on the mic and
Vo: Your sponsor is your uncle?
Me: yes
Vo: What does he do?
Me: He is into importation of fabrics and textiles, he also has a farmer. He is into animal husbandry; 'piggery'.
He started typing what I don't know and he was so serious typing it and I started praying on my mind. After typing for like close to 1 min he put hand at the white paper and said I will be approving your visa and he gave me the white paper through that hole I didn't wait for him to finish the rest I zoomed off with a big smile on my face.
All thanks to God and the creator of this forum and to those contributing and sharing transcripts.
@tunnyz7 @teedawg @oludare01@texrem @zealotre @walspring Thanks guys
My Advice to future applicants: Be truthful and fill your DS160 yourself and know about your course. And also be bold and confident because that's the key. Congrats and to God be the glory |

Emmyirab: Visa denied few minutes ago. Lagos embassy.
Vo- Where are you going to in the US? Me- Brigham Young University Idaho Vo- why did you choose ByuI? Me- Apart from the fact that they have great mentorship programs They offer great domain for real life related projects for undergraduates, for example earlier this year, a technology building was erected and equipped with materials like candence simulator and 3d printers. I believe this kinda place will help me achieve my dreams of being a practising engineer when i graduate (she was just cutting me off here and switching off the mic, she was being introduced to someone. this kinda made me stammer) Vo- Are you mormon? Me- No Vo-How many schools did you apply to? Me- 3 then named them Vo- why did you apply to only Midwest schools? Me- (this really took me off balance, i wasn't expecting it) I just thought of one rubbish and said because of the weather(me know say i done mess up) She raised her eyebrow. then I said schools in the Midwest had great domain for real life related projects(nonsense upon rubbish). (from here i just wanted to say don't worry give me my passport and i20, i know whats next..) Vo-How did you hear about the school? Me- a friend who is a student of the school told me bout it then I did my research. Vo-Do you have a relative there? Me-No Vo- Sorry bla bla bla bla bla.
Reapplying soon though who know the next available date. Cc: Texrem, Lagosismyhome, Walspring Before you reapply check if the resumption is not near and also check available date I wish you all the best |

yomcy2016: Good morning house, this is me giving my appreciation first and foremost to the Lord God Almighty for making my interview a success.
Secondly, a big shout out to Walspring for your kind response to my question as well as Joeluv.
I was scheduled for 6:30 interview...though i didn't leave till around 7:43.
On getting to the venue...I had my docs already with me so the tout won't use me for breakfast..all the staple your documents and all I didn't even answer any of them...park here park there...I used my discretion to on that as well...considering all the stories have heard on the platform so I was readily prepared.
All those your documents must be coloured...it isn't tru...none was for me aside my admission letter sent with my I20.
Fast forward to my interview...
The VO all smiling a young pretty lady prolly in her late 20's i think it was window 6 if I ain't mistaken.
The VO didn't greet me and so I didn't bother as well. (Over sabi isn't necessary)
V.O: Can I have your passport I passed it
V.O: Your I20 as well I passed it
V.O: How old are you? ME: I am......years old
V.O: Where are you going to in the U.S (didn't hear her initially so I said "pardon" before i will say what i wasn't asked) ME: I'm going to for Masters Degree Program at the American University Washington DC
V.O: Who is paying for your studies ME: My dad is paying. However I got a merit based scholarship award from my school.
V.O: Yea I can see that, and it is really a huge amount. And you also have funds? ME: Yes I do, cos I am presently working
V.O: What do you do at your place of work ME: I told her...
V.O: Wow all that? (With a smile on her face) ME: I smiled as well and told her the 3 basic things and broke it down ( that was y it seems kinda much to her, i think)
At that point she already picked the white paper and placed it "our" front.
V.O: She now asked that (considering my roles) so why am i going for international law and legal studies that it seems i am into domestic law alone. ME: No i actually also have dealings with foreign clients and I was privileged to be among the team in my office who gave legal opinion on a case involving Econet Telecommunication...*VO Cuts in*
VO: So you are coming back to take up your job (at that point she already pushed the white paper to my front)
ME: I told her yes and that as a matter of fact I was just giving 18months study leave and expected back in the office 8th January 2019
VO: (She passed the white paper to me) and told me to have a nice time in the U.S ME: (with a big grin of smile on my face) I said THANKS!!!
That was it...she didn't even type anything on her screen...she looked the screen like prolly just twice there about...looked at me...and you know...that's all
All I can say is that it was just God coshonestly I was scared...from the start of it all. The application and all. But in it all I give glory to God and thanks a lot Walspring and Joeluv also the transcript posted by others also was of immense help.
This is my little way of giving back to the house.
P.S I submitted my DS 160 even beforepaying for interview ...you know a lot wasn't right about my app...DS 160 has some missingquestions.
Through it all I give God the glory.
To.All still expectant, I.pray the God who showed me mercy and favoured me will also show you mercy and favour you and not give you a strict V.O like the one in window 7. Congrats and in all let's give the thanks to God. |
