Please shed more light on the evening classes ..I heard one can make a lot from that..but please tell us like how much one can make monthly..
Do you have where to stay ? Hope the road is pure going coz it won't make sense entering there illegally .....

Bro" Is sounds like you never travel to any of these west african states, if you have your Int. Passport/ecowas passport and your vaccination card AKA yellow card, how will it be illegal? Of course is legal if you have all of the above. As per the evening classes" it depends on the course/subject you will take and the time and how good you are. I know of sombody working there as a teacher, his salary is #55K and he is into evening and weekend classes, he is able to save #160-180k every month

I don't know how you will get this kind of jobs here. It's better you search it in the internet what/how to get a job for foreigners and what kind of certificate you needed. I don't have much informations on this, so it's better I don't guess about it.

The salaries for the kind of jobs you stated are between 3000-20000 Birr(135-1000$) for degrees and masters(it may also be higher at some places). You can live a normal life with those salaries, if you are single and the money is higher than 5000 Birr(228$).

Since you can speak English, you will not going to have that much problems. Most people in the cities can speak English(even though most of their English is broken). I think you have much better chance to be an English teacher. There are many institutions who gave English lessons. Through time, you may decide to learn the native languages(Amharic language is advisable), if you want to communicate more with the locals.

The most clean cities I would recommend are Bahire Dare(means sea edge), Hawasa(Awasa) and their are some. But they infrastructures are less than Addis, but they are relatively clean and have beautiful sights.

The climate is very good, especially on the highland parts of the country(north and central Ethiopia). Addis Ababa in 2400 meters above sea level(Addis in on a mountain). We have 4 seasons. One fact I want you to know is that 70% of Africa mountains are found in Ethiopia. That is why it's called roof of Africa.

Greetings.
Pls I have some questions for you.
1. Can one get a teaching job ( Computer Science) and may be extra lessons
2. Can one work with their Mechanics eg. I have tools using computer to diagnose and fix Cars
3. Can you pls drop your email address.
I am serous I really like the country.
Thanx for your info

My Business is 100% legitimate. First let me clarify something, my main reason for migrating is the problem with our country's economy and of course one need to stay were he is certain of investing and am not talking about a huge business here, because I am not a rich man. What am talking about might surprise you, some people might think its a company, School etc. NO! Its a very small business but if we manage it well, then we will be sleeping with our two eyes closed. FAST FOOD JOINT I mean hek YESSS... People in Ivory Coast think of nothing but FOOD and I have a very good plan for fast food joint were one can engage in preparing chips liver & egg, indomie, Arabian Cofee, salad, fruits salad etc. So hala me, but its gonna be a joint venture and if you know someone there, ask him.

@cosmeticchemist YW. I only have one question, please how do I control trace in CP. I mean how do I keep my soap pap in a liquid form after mixing lye, water and my oil for longer time before moulding and allowing it to solidify, I am experimenting something. Thanks. @iHart I can't find such link in your sign. Pls send the pics via my email (wambaibappah@gmail.com) and if you have soap cutter and stamp, please attach. May be we can do some business.

Greetings, I've been on Nairaland for over 7years now but never post on any thread. My reason for posting are 1. This is the most educative thread I ever seen 2. I thought of buying an ebook even though I downloaded some free ebooks for soap making but I learnt a lot and the areas I have weaknesses on soap making have been covered. I will buy the ebook from cosmeticchemist not just to lern the soap making, but to show my appreciation for his contribution and I would like to remind him that who ever insult him on what he is doing or telling people that he is a lier is an enamy of progress. 3. I want to size this opportunity to thank him for his effort. 4. I want to ask if any one knows the price of a small plodder (the smallest) I saw on this thread sombody is advertising a small soap making machine for 13k is it possible. Kind regards my email is wambaibappah@gmail.com
