@ everyone,

Today was a great leap in faith!

At KPMG, you need to give a full month's notice before you leave to meet up with terms and conditions of service for unconfirmed peeps.

I resigned yesterday without having seen my letter.

My whole family was practically on the mountain today.

Lo and behold, my letter showed up again at Kebbi!!

I have the soft copy and the original commeth by UPS.

I have been wondering, why do I always have crazy/interesting tales to tell.

I will be resuming at Commercial Division.

That sounds like Lagos.

Great night peeps

@ adrianic,

Welcome back, May His face shine upon you and all that is yours.

Wish to meet you someday!

A good morning to you all.

Believe our weekend was cool.

For me, well I was at Ofada yesterday and met Kuwena finally. Couldnt saty too long cos I had to get back to Lagos.

Simply put, i perceive he has a rare indomitable spirit and a humility beyond words. Just re-enforced my perception of him in that light.

SHould speak soon with him again.

THOUGHTS ON FRIENDSHIP

Life has no better memory
Than one of true friendship
Our meeting, our intellectual harmony even in face of hardship
Makes our bond worthwhile
Name your price

Good morning!

Just wanted to confirm; it seems engineers are the peeps getting letters now. Confirmed with two of my other friends in the management sciences and they say they hadnt received.

Will call today anyway cos if possible, I would prefer to simply collect the letter by hand cos I am scared it might go somewhere funny.

@opoks, morning and thanks for the call yesterday

Have a great day

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Which Way Nlng? by wandel(m): 1:32pm On Nov 29, 2007
@ everyone,

shocked Wonders will never end o!!! Is someone after me or not!!! I got a second letter at my Ibadan address that I wasnt successful at the assessment centre. Aint that funny after doing the medicals.

The logical explanation is the the letters were generated through addresses and my first address got a successful letter. When others were sent last week, My Ibadan address also got one.

Anyway, being trying to reach them but I guess they are on break presently.

@ Tombri, guess its confirmed that its unsuccessful letters that are going out.

Have a great day everyone.

Hi,

@ tombri

I hear resumption is January but like I said earlier you could resume later. They understand you are currently employed and would need time to leave present employment
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Which Way Nlng? by wandel(m): 9:14am On Nov 26, 2007
@ everyone,

Good morning, its another lovely week in which we move closer to our God-given dreams and visions.

@ Kuwena, Peeps have said many things; most of which I concur with. My widow's mite is something I always say to myself which is 'the greater the challenge, the greater the exhilaration of victory'
A man is tested and develops in the face of adversity, what we become afterwards is a measure of our success as I see it. If circumstances change you then you have failed.

Take care mon amie

@biolabee,
thanks for the clarification. Thought I was being strapped to a time machine

@ tombri
Lemme guess - your name is t, right and your assessment centre was on the 11th july?

Anyway, the doctor said I could call on monday to find out my result(you have a right to your medical tests) However for verification, i think that would be hard to failhuh! except on forges his/her result.

Great day everyone
Looking forward to the weekend. TGIF

@ everyone,

Sorry for dropping outta sight. Was away to Kaduna for my medicals.
Let me bore you with some of the macabre stuuf that happened to me.

1. After leaving oyingbo with a luxirious bus at 7.30pm, I got to Ibadan at 10am and subsequently Kaduna at 7pm.(Talk of best laid plans!!!) due to hold ups, burst tire, slow pace etc.

2. Tracing the hospital turned out to be the fourth stage NLNG test as I changed okada thrice before I could get the place.

3. The doctor had gone home for the night so I lodged into an hotel pronto(thank God for ATMs) and chartered an 'okada' for the next day runs.

4. I got to the hospital by 7.45 am and I dont know what was tested for!!! I am actually surprised at what PGM said - My urine, faecal, and 2 blood samples were taken(wonder if I wont buy blood tonic, the way medical tests 'dey chop my blood go') My height and weight was taken next. My xrays taken, my ears looked into with a funny looking machine and its receptability to sound tested with ear phone and sharp sounds.
Next I laid on a reclining examination table and the kind of sticky(bathroom clearing) round stuff with millions of cords attached to the tacky ends. ok no problems except with cuff-like bangles attached to mind hands too. Machine reads, I am off the table, the doctor says so far so good!!!
I simply told him that he has redefined the concept of comprehensive medical check-up!!!

4. NOW THE CATCH!!!
I was called while doing my medicals by a staff from NLNG who asked if I had gotten my invitation letter for medicals. I told him I was having the medical test at the moment and then goes further to ask what his advice was as I would be required to give a non- negotiable notice before leaving my work place. He told me I could tell them when I would be available to work and thus meet the requirements

Information
If you made the assessment centre, you will be called to confirm if you got your letter.

I saw them doing result verification when I was last at their office.

Anyway, I am back to work and wish everyone a lovely day
