PoliticsRe: Breaking: Presidency Orders Ihedioha To Write Tambuwal; Threatens Impeachment by wanimo: 2:37pm On Oct 31, 2014
eye4eye:
So because corruption didn't start today means it has to continue under Jonathan. To hell with you. It shall not be well with you.

May Almighty God work on your life and your family the same way Jonathan is working on Nigeria's affairs. May God deal with your life exact the same way Jonathan has worked on Chibok girls issue. May God work on your life the same way Jonathan has worked on electricity issue and corruption issue in Nigeria.

Lastly, may your life end up with the same result Jonathan has achieved in the areas of road construction across Nigeria's nooks and corners.

Amen!
My friend just shut up. This is Nigeria where the rich get richer and the poor like u are given crumbs to kill youselves for. U are here calling God when I'm sure u do not know God in any way! Dont U ever bring God into the issue of dirty politicians, APC and PDP. These guys dont give a hoot about u, ur family and ur future. Tambuwal started playing the music, he should as well put on his dancing shoes.

the part that's got me attention is the IS foreign fighters.. Are these fighters(foreign) that left their home countries blood citizens of their home countries or just non-natives with citizenships or so?
For example, a full blooded american fighting for IS?
yes full bloodded Europeans and American citizens travel thousands of miles to go join and fight for IS. Most of these foreign. Fighter are not in support of the dastardly acts of their government hence their going to. Join IS.

PoliticsRe: Help Spread This News To Save Abia State From These Devilish Men!!! by wanimo: 7:51pm On Oct 30, 2014
I learnt that Chinedu Orji (IKUKU) is the next Gov in the making. He is storming the state assembly with his loyalist and him being the speaker will move for the impeachment of who ever is the pupet governor the father will install and automatically he will become the Governor. I wish death to Orji Kalu who brought this curse on Abians. Anyway... They are not God as they do not have all the cards in their hands to play. We know that no vote is. Going to count in that state.
PoliticsRe: ... by wanimo: 8:00am On Oct 30, 2014
U are a Bokoharam with internet data as ur only weapon. Dont worry, at the rate u and ur comrades with arms are moving, u guys would only have achieved the total destruction of ur region (the north eastern nigeria) and killing more than half the population of ur kinsmen by Feb 2015 without achieving the dislodgement of the federal government. U guys can proceed to Yola the state capital by next week.

We have seen this over a thousand times on this forum and it is getting too damn boring. Don't these folks have any other card to play?? I can bet my life you will see a dozen more of threads like this before the day runs out. Why aren't they giving us reasons to vote Jonathan?? Why is it so difficult to sell Jonathan using his "unparalleled developmental strides"?? What has jonathan achieved since he got into Aso Rock besides polarising Nigerians along religious and tribal lines?? Ask them this question: how many of them wouldn't prefer living the rest of their lives in a place like UAE or Qatar to living in Nigeria??

If you think you can't vote for Buhari because of some flimsy reason as the statement above, then goodluck to you.
I'm as Christian as can be and I say this with every sense of responsibility in me, Buhari is God's gift to this nation, and I will cast my vote in his favour 50times over even if he looses his 49th contest!!
Sorry Bro! Every one should be held accountable by what they say. Someone who made such a comment is not fit to rule a country that is so polarized on religious and ethnic lines as Nigeria. APC should better field another candidate if they dream of contolling the FG. Buhari will never win.
PoliticsRe: Breaking: Boko Haram Seize Mubi In Adamawa, Sack Army HQ by wanimo: 6:39pm On Oct 29, 2014
We call that purported cease-fire agreement a tactical re-grouping, re-organizing, re-arming, and re-mobilizing of the terorists. If after these terrorists are killed in their thousands and they still have the human resources to attack a military installation, then I'm only left to believe that every young man in the north eastern Nigeria is either a full blown terrorist or a potential terrorist. The FG should do the needful and declare a full scale war on that region and no-longer tackle it as insurgency.
PoliticsRe: Atiku Denies Plan To Leave APC, Claims Party Official Behind Rumour by wanimo: 2:51pm On Oct 29, 2014
pendy79:
The collective goal is to weed out the PDP and its suppressive and corruption institutionalising agenda. Let's make the country work again and be turned back to the path of greatness and rejuvenation.

I hope the Turaki drop his agenda for 2015, let's have GMB do a single term, fix and end the plague of corruption ravaging the country and ensure all our institutions of democratic rule function optimally without dancing to the tune of Ask Rock then handover to a more business and development minded individual in 2019.

The business as usual kind of government we've had since 1999 has set this nation off the track of development and the sole reason is corruption and we need a radical leader with radical disposition and without the baggage of corruption hanging round his neck. We need to make this country work again.

I don't have the time to waste educating bigots like u. So if care to no about the people's General then take ur time to google about his regime and his achievement.
His regime toppled a ligitimate and democratically elected government. In any sane society, that alone has disqualified him from contesting for any electoral position in Nigeria.

Abeg let us hear word they also assemble cars in Eritrea one of Africa's poorest countries, is it not a shame that you will tell us to return someone like GEJ to office because Hyundai and Nissan now assemble a few cars in Nigeria. Are we so poor in thinking, bereft of ideas and shallow in evaluation of leadership abilities?

I was in India in 2012 and was really impressed with strides they've made in technology, producing most the cars they use and export, manufacture machine tools for further production, textiles, phones, computers, steel production and many more. But fast forward to 2014 working among a large number of young Indians, they were done with the ruling party in-spite of all above achievements and they were determined to replace them for one reason, CORRUPTION and 'padi-padi' arrangement in their opinion slows down India's growth rate. They ended up giving the opposition part a large majority such that coalition with other parties is not even necessary.

Fast forward to Nigeria and we see youths who should be hungry for fast paced development being satisfied with mediocre acheivments and closing their eyes to unbridled corruption that will soon wipe out the mediocre achievements they celebrate today
it makes no sense when all u do is critisize without profering any solution. The rise of the 'Asian Tiger' economies spanned over three decades. If the previous regimes and administrations contributed as little as the current administration, we would have gone far in our technological and industrial advancement.

Come to think of it... No government ever thought about building schools for the 'almagiris' both at the state and federal level until GEJ did it. I only believe that the northern orligarchy wanted to maintain the status-quo cos these set of Nigerians (the almagiris) were ther foot soldiers who can be easily manupulated along religious lines to destabilize the country at any given time. Yes I admit that the current adminstration has a lot of corruption issues just like every other that Nigeria has ever had. I remember when Obasanjo is his bid to curb corruption proposed a 22year jail term for convicted government officials, both the senate and house of reps killed it and approved only 2years knowing that all of them are guilty and culpable. They even had the audacity to include the 'plea bargain' which has made a rubbish of what ever anti-corruption fight Nigeria will undertake. I also remember that while the EFCC was vibrant with random arrest of politicians, some of u were saying that Obasanjo was using it to witch-hunt his opposition. I cant imagine GEJ towing that line with the EFCC, Nigeria would have disintegrated along ethnic lines because a certain part of the country would have declared full scale war on the govt going by the amount of criticism already dished. We all would be very foolish to automatacally assume that corruption which has eaten deep into the rudiments of our society will be eradicated within 4years.

Nigerians 2day are calling for Local government autonomy and our corrupt state governors who are the major benefactors of the current system have come together to kick against it without minding their different party affiliations. Thank God it was the GEJ administration that summoned the conference that made that plausible recomendation and he is also working hard to force through the implementation of some of those recomendations.

I believe we should critisize the government when they do wrong and commend and support them when they get it right. Any true opposition in a democracy does not try to pull the government down, rather they project and propagate policies that would convince the electorate vote them into government. That is exactly what the Nigerian opposition is not. They are so desparate for power that they are willing to even undermine our future and lives in their quest for political power.

Well, Efcc is now redundant. A shadow of it used to be.
i hope u remember when every one said that the EFCC was an attck dog of the government. Then it was very active. Do u remember that Obasanjo proposed a 22year jail term and both the senate and the house of Reps killed it and voted just 2year for any convicted corrupt govt official because all of them were guilty. Do u know that the EFCC has made more convinctions under the current administration than any other. I dream of a country with a vibrant opposition that will critisize the. Ruling govt with the good of Nigeria at heart not what we currently have...an opposition of desperados, bitterness and hatred. Any PDP membe who gets desperate for power quickly joins the APC. The PDP as a party is evil but the APC as an opposition party is deadly, wicked and devilish. I only wish Nigerians can be wise enough to start voting individuals and never political party.

Despite her efforts in curtailing the excesses of the oil gaints in this country, Alison Dezieani Madueke is too extravagant in her management of our oil resources. This only happens in a country that has a history of corrupt govt officials not going to jail no matter the extent of their corruption. This spans beyond the current administration, every past govt is culpable of this crime. We need to build more prisons to accomodate these rich corrupt govt officials.
PoliticsRe: About ISIS War In The Middle East by wanimo: 4:46am On Oct 21, 2014
ISIS is a representation of what the west truely is..."Trouble makers". The US ceated and funded the ISIL to fight Assad in Syria just like they did AL-qaeda in Afghanistan, and probably Boko Haram in Nigeria. Now ISIS has grown into an uncontrollable monster with a lot of European and American fighters.

Now he has defected, some fellows here on nairaland will start refering to him as an element of change just because he has switched party affiliations, while has has been a member of a ruling party that has been milking Nigeria dry since 1999. I'd rather stick with those thieves i can predict than an opportunist and unpredictable criminal. Bottom line, PDP and APC are the same crooks. Under different roofs

I am actually tired of Nigerian Politics.
The hearsays...
The propagandas...
The lies...
The betrayal...
The greediness...
I am tired of hypocrites... The recycled politicians and old cargos.
I am tired of reading histories that were made up by who knows who.
I am tired of politics and it's tactics. The bloodshed, ethnic bias and religious intolerance.

I don't even know what to believe anymore.
Sometimes I almost want to believe that a non performing government is performing when I see ducky heads blindly following some of these people and claiming they are God sent or rather the best thing that has happened to Nigeria.

It makes me look at the bad roads in my area and think oh well, GEJ is trying.
The unemployment situation is becoming alarming yet they say millions of jobs have been created.

A politician holding Lagos state to ransom. I am really confused right now and I may eventually not vote for anyone.
Leaving it to fate.

cramjones is a name on NairaLand I have come across several times and which for no just reason seem petty, pretense and full of lies but lately, I find myself wanting to be his friend just because of his writing prowess. there is no credible personality in the APC if u urself cannot point at any individual that is outstandingly credible in the current administration. Reading this post this morning. I cannot but wonder how deep we have fallen. It is a shame that the 15 years misrule by the PDP Has eaten deep into our brains that we now belive that we cant have a working and functional govt. This a more reason why we need change. NIGERIANS NEED TO SEE THE GLORY OF DEMOCRACY. WE HAVE BEEN TAKEN FOR GRANTED FI TOO LONG. Its time to see a working and functional Nigeria. I am tired of seeing 'cluelessness' being displayed in high places. Truth is we have fallen so deep. Tired of this horror movie called PDP.... ..... I need change. Thats all
pls u seem to 4get that the current majority in the opposition that u support were the same poeple who misruled Nigeria in the PDP, only to run to a new platform to start calling names. Whether u wear monkey coat or agbada or tracksuits, monkey na monkey. Some months back some people were screaming Rribadu/APC, where is Ribadu 2day? We the younger generation that form the bulk of the electorate should be wise to vote individuals and never party.
