The war has been declared and they are beating us 100/0. We will go back to the drawing board, and come out again for a rematch. No be who first pay school fees dey come first for class.
Igbos usually excel in whatever they do including killing in retaliation. I pity those igbos still leaving in Kano. A war well announced does not consume the cripple. |
Politics › Re: See What Buhari Did With The Fastest Economy Handed To Him PHOTOS by wanimo: 7:18am On Apr 28, 2016 |
obailala: No need for long incoherent stories, Nigeria is a mono-product economy and once this one product becomes worthless, Nigeria's economy becomes as useless as used tissue paper. That oil becoming worthless coincided with the time Buhari took over leadership, that does not mean Buhari is responsible from knocking Nigeria off the fastest growing chart. If you doubt, below is a chart which shows that Nigeria's GDP growth rate dropped from the fastest lane to about a measly 2.3% as at the time GEJ was handing over to Buhari. www.nairaland.com/attachments/3644660_nigeriagdpgrowthannualforecast_png7bcd23fc337e90b7d2f7cee256a15425
So you are wrong, the fact is that GEJ met a high GDP growth rate, was able to maintain it fairly through his reign BECAUSE oil prices were sky-high, but ended up crashing it to nothing before handing over the rotten economy to Buhari to take all the blame. Anything Buhari and his team can do to salvage this situation can only materialise after many years as long as oil prices remain rock-bottom; so it is pointless pointing fingers at Buhari as the one who crashed Nigeria. Jonathanians don't like the truth though, so I dont expect this to make any sense to them. you should be ashamed of defending the dull President who is still budgeting billion to look for oil that is currently worthless in the international market. That shows his thinking about economy. His budget should be the benchmark of analysis, but you still choose to blame GEJ. Buhari voted more funds for Ministry of Information than ministry of agriculture and also science and technology. Yet you came out to defend the imbeci1e |

If development cannot even get to the grassroots under the much smaller geographical area of the states, how then do we trust it will with the large regions?
How does Regionalism address our biggest problem as a nation, which is the hydra headed monster called corruption?
I'm of the opinion that the fact that the regional system seemed to have worked a little before, was a s a result of the people at the helm, not the system.
I doubt can anyone prove that wrong u must come from the north |

fiizznation: People have to be careful. If you think you are dealing with the average Nigeria fulani/fulfude group then you people should better wake up. I'm a Fulani man and I know what I'm talking about. These herdsmen carrying out all these atrocities are dangerous herdsmen from other Africa countries e.g chad, Niger, Sierra Leone, Gambia, guinea, Senegal, Mali etc. Normally they rarely attack any community until they are attacked first and they don't understand anything called fair play. They have a very wide network that cuts across the entire African continent.
My problem with the hypocritical Nigeria media houses is they hardly report any killings of these herdsmen by the local community, but the herdsmen reprisal attacks are always reported. To me this is insensitivity. We all know how innocent Nigeria herdsmen are killed everyday by the locals, but nobody wants to talk about that. The agatu people killed many innocent Fulani herdsmen before the herdsmen reprisal attacks, but how many media houses reported that? All we were hearing was Fulani ransacked agatu community.
People should be careful, if you think these herdsmen don't get to hear news about how their fellow brothers are killed and their cattle rustle, then we are not serious about solving this crisis I'm very sure that you are one of those arming them. Nemesis will soon catch up with you guys. The level of hatred against you and your people is frightening. An ethnic cleansing is coming against you soon |

Politics › Re: Why We Must All Support Full Sharia In The North. by wanimo: 7:42pm On Mar 27, 2016 |
08xtr3r: Culled:
On October 2nd, 2014 edition of Pointblanknews Magazine, Alhaji Aliyu Gwarzo, a prominent Fulani leader from Kano, said the following words “when I say that the presidency must come to the North next year, I am referring to the Hausa-Fulani core North and not any Northern Christian or Muslim minority tribe. The Christians in the North, such as the Berom, the Tiv, the Kataf, the Jaba, the Zuru, the Sayyawa, the Bachama, the Jukun, the Idoma and all the others are nothing and the muslim minorities in the North, including the Kanuri, the Nupe, the Igbira, the Babur, the Shuwa Arabs, the Marghur and all the others know that when we are talking about leadership in the North and in Nigeria, Allah has given it to us, the Hausa-Fulani. They can grumble, moan and groan as much as they want but each time they go into their bedrooms to meet their wives and each time they get on their prayer mats to begin their prayers, it is we the Fulani that they think of, that they fear, that they bow to and that they pray for. Some of them are even ready to give us their wives and daughters for one night’s sport and pleasure. They owe us everything. This is because we gave them Islam through the great Jihad waged by our father, the great Usuman Dan Fodio. We also captured Ilorin, killed their local King and installed our Fulani Emir. We took that ancient town away from the barbarian Yoruba and their filthy pagan gods. We liberated all these places and all these people by imposing Islam on them by force. It was either the Koran or the sword, and most of them chose the Koran. In return for the good works of our forefathers, Allah, through the British, gave us Nigeria to rule and to do with as we please. Since 1960 we have been doing that and we intend to continue. No Goodluck or anyone else will stop us from taking back our power next year. We will kill, maim, destroy and turn this country into Africa’s biggest war zone and refugee camp if they try it.
Many say we are behind Boko Haram. My answer is what do you expect? We do not have economic power or intellectual power. All we have is political power and they want to take even that from us. We must fight and we will fight back in order to keep it. They have brought in the infidels from America and the pigs from Israel to help them but they will fail. The war has just begun, the Mujahedeen are more than ready and by Allah we shall win. If they don’t want an ISIS in Nigeria then they must give us back the presidency and our political power. Their soldiers are killing our warriors and our people every day but mark this: even if it takes one hundred years, we will have our revenge. Every Fulani man that they kill is a debt that will be repaid, even if it takes 100 years. The Fulani have very long memories”.
President Muhammadu Buhari himself in 2013 when he said that if what happened in 2011 during the presidential elections happens again in 2015 and he ends up losing to President Goodluck Jonathan, who happens to be a southern christian, “the dog and the baboon will both be soaked in blood”.
Another Elder statesman of the North, Alhaji Lawal Kaita, said, before the presidential election in 2011, that “power must return to the North otherwise we (meaning northerners) would make the country ungovernable”. Jonathan went ahead to win the election and Lawal Kaita and co. went ahead to honour their word: from 2011 till 2015, making the country ungovernable they certainly did.
These are shocking and deeply troubling utterances from these Fulani leaders and the implications of their threat-filled words are self-evident. They need no further analysis or explanation here. They are using the Fulani herdsmen as a standing army. They are highly protected by the government in power... We will soon fight our way out of Nigeria and have our own country. Biafra is now a do or die affair for us and we will surely emerge victorious. |

obailala: So in your logic, 'voting Jonathan' = 'True federalism' irrespective of how bad a leader he was?... A person who wants true federalism MUST vote against a Buhari and MUST vote for a GEJ even though it was crystal clear to even a blind man that GEJ's confab was just a ruse to curry favour for his re-election?
As far as facts are concerned, GEJ was not going to bring back true federalism and also, Buhari (for obvious reasons) is not going to move for true federalism. So when presented with these 2 candidates in an election, I cannot be deceived into using true federalism as a criteria to vote for any of them; other factors would be considered and GEJ was definitely a failure that needed to go. Congratulations for your contribution in the ouster of the "failure GEJ" and ushering in the " catastrophic Buhari " welldone. U |

The morbid hatred of "awusa" and other ethnic groups that is behind the irresponsible mindset of perceiving others as the cause of all their problems while being incapable of looking at the innate shortcomings of themselves and their leaders. It is the "Awusa" leader, like Buhari, and the "Yoloba" leader, like Tinubu, they must come here to face daily and propagate as the problem of Nigeria while they praise, vote for and deify their misruling crooks like GEJ, Allison-Madueke, NOI, Metuh, Theodore Orji, Orji Kalu, Oduah, Anyim et al who did little for them. Pathetic and I have personally never seen anything like it anywhere in the world i.e the display of total moral bankruptcy that renders some incapable of seeing wrongdoing in their own while they attempt to crucify and blame others alone for all their woes. A real Igbo man does not look up to anyone for solution to his challenges. We always excel against all odds. The problems of the igbos are not other ethic groups as u insinuate, but the likes of Rocha's Okoroawusa. These group of selfish and reprobate individuals hold back the progress of their people and region for selfish interests. Soon the rooster will come to roost and its flaps will be on the frying pan |
