Sepukku:Lol, so her Nigerian opponents lack sex appeal 😂😂😂 You say Nigerians that rely on excessive auto-tune have "musical talent" 😂😂😂. I often wonder what they sound like Live without studio wizardry - that's why i find Afrobeats so annoying.🇳🇬👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾 Tyla backtracking shows the power of the SA twitteratti - we can make or break you 🇿🇦🏆🏆🏆 |
Rossikk:It also shows the narrative black South Africans are stupid, lazy and dominated by Nigerians is just false empty chest-beating lapped up by ignorant people. You were trying to push the narrative that a Nigerian was dominating SA scientists, even white ones. If i didn't push back you were gonna get away with it and become a fact. Typical story of Nigerians 🇳🇬👎🏾. I'll give you the benefit of doubt though (olive branch) 🕊️🕊️🕊️ |
finallybusy:Lol, is that a dig 😂😂😂 |
Rossikk:You should be banned for willfully misleading people. 🇿🇦Vilakazi (22), 🇿🇦Mdluli (26), 🇳🇬Ebenso (34). |
Rossikk:So you're quoting 2 links with differing 'facts'. Nigerian University of Lies & Alternative Facts (est. 1901) 🇳🇬👎🏾😂😂😂😂 |
Rossikk:Not true, Nigeria had University of Lies before 1960, from which you were birthed 🇳🇬💩💩💩 Egyptians civilization dates further back than 1880 and yet SA kicks they bums 🇿🇦🏆🏆🏆. SA blacks learning very fast by the look of things since 1994. APPLAUSE 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 |
Rossikk:Don't start with lies - Vilakazi and Mdluli are the top blacks 22 & 26 respectively 🇿🇦🏆🏆🏆. Ebenso 34th. |
Rossikk:Have you no shame, you've been independent since 1960, SA blacks since 1994 and were subjected to inferior education before. Look how they've grown in leaps and bounds since: 🇿🇦 4 vs 7 🇳🇬. What have you been doing for the past 64 years? 🇳🇬👎🏾💩💩💩 Anyway, Bongani Majoyi would be 3rd in Nigeria (despite inferior Bantu education)🇿🇦🏆🏆🏆🏆 |
Rossikk:Wow, Joyful Mdluli, the black SA slave, would be number 2 in Nigeria 🇿🇦🏆🏆🏆🏆
|
Rossikk:You can find them where i found them - OP provided the link. See why you only have 4 people on the list - you can't think. |
Rossikk:More than your 5 blacks 🇳🇬👎🏾💩. Oh let me subtract Justin Paul coz he ain't no Nigerian, just a scientist in a Nigerian university. That makes just 4 Nigerians in the top 100 out of 250 million population 😂😂😂
|
Rossikk:Isn't the word "domination" top of your vocabulary in Nigeria? Ask LegendHero, he's already used the word. |
LegendHero:20 won't still be enough - 60 of the 100 are South African 🇿🇦🏆🏆🏆🏆 Talk about total domination! |
A black South African 'slave' towering above all the Nigerians 😂 Score: SA, 10 🇿🇦🏆 - NIG, 0 🥚🇳🇬

Police arrested a Nigerian national at Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport on Friday night after they found cocaine stashed in airline headphones. National police spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe said the man had landed from São Paulo in Brazil and was taking a connecting flight to Nigeria when he was nabbed. “It is alleged he met with a cleaner at the airport and handed airline headphones to him. “Suspecting that there was something amiss, the team opened the aircraft headphones and found cocaine stashed in the headphones.” She said the alleged drug mule told police he is a street vendor in Nigeria. “He claims he was in Brazil to buy clothes and shoes which he sells in his home country.” Mathe said police are investigating this aspect to see if this excuse is a decoy to actually traffic drugs. She said the cleaner who noticed that police were “hot on his heels” evaded arrest. “Police have since launched a manhunt for him.” Following the arrest, General Fannie Masemola, SAPS National Commissioner warned criminals that South Africa was not their playground. “These arrests and drug confiscations should serve as a deterrent to other drug traffickers, that they will be caught.” Police said in the past two months, more than 13-million rands (1.2 billion naira) worth of drugs including R12 million (N1.1 billion) worth of cocaine has been seized at OR Tambo Airport. “A total of nine suspected drug mules have also been arrested during this period. All suspects were arrested in the possession of these drugs.”

After accepting the Best Afrobeats Award at the 2024 MTV VMAs for her hit single 'Water', Tyla expressed her gratitude for winning the category while also pointedly deciding to offer the organisers a crash course on muddling up all music from Africa as Afrobeats. "I know there's a tendency to group all African artists as Afrobeats. Even though Afrobeats has run things and opened doors for us, African music is so diverse," Tyla said. "I come from South Africa and I represent Amapiano and my culture," Tyla added before shouting out to Rema, Tems, Ayra Starr, Burna Boy, Wikzid, Davido, and other Afrobeats acts with whom she was nominated. Tyla's acceptance speech has attracted some criticism from Nigerian observers who questioned her decision to largely disavow the Afrobeats after winning an Afrobeats category with a song that's clearly Afrobeats in its composition. Media personality and award-winning OAP Do2tun criticised the South African star for accepting the Afrobeats award at the 2024 VMAs if she thought her song wasn't an Afrobeats song. "Aunty @tyla aka am not Afrobeats, I am Amapiano. We have heard you but your song “Water” isn’t amapiano either. If you thought you were categorized in the wrong category, you should have given the award back or denounced the nomination. You clearly took an award that didn’t represent you or your sound from that statement you made," Do2tun said on his Instagram account. Tyla's recent statement on Afrobeats is considered by some observers to be a tacit disassociation from the genre and movement in what has been a disturbing trend in Nigerian music.

CollectMoney:Lol, was it the "most serious matter in Africa" before Chidimma was booted out of Miss SA? 🇿🇦🏆🏆🏆 Reminder Japagerians are flocking off their plentiful land to go parasite in white man's countries. As a result their land is so unproductive they're currently suffering from extreme hunger pains and standing in long chaotic queues for fuel. What a waste of land 👎🏾🇳🇬💩💩💩 |
Verydarkhearted:We're South Africans of Nigerian-Mozambican heritage 😁 |
Sepukku:Morpheus you're too well versed on SA matters (and also on criminal trends in Nigeria) to claim ignorance on this matter. Let's not waste each other's time. Shalom. |
A former finance manager had been found hiding in a freezer after going on the run from the police for a year. Now, the 37-year-old Prishne Khan has been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for fraud. DEFRAUDING ONE ORGANISATION AFTER ANOTHER The Pretoria Specialised Commercial Crimes Court heard that Khan was employed as a bookkeeper at Northern Cricket Union from June 2015 to 18 January 2017. National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) regional spokesperson Lumka Mahanjana explained Khan’s responsibilities included processing payments for service providers. She altered banking details on multiple invoices, replacing them with those of her husband and cousin and misappropriating 350,000 rands (31-million naira) over six weeks from May to June 2016. When questioned about her actions, Khan resigned from her position. Following her resignation, Khan became the finance manager at Customer Loyalty Consultant (PTY) Ltd from 9 March 2017 to 30 September 2017. This role provided her with access to the company’s bank account and banking systems. During her employment, Khan again manipulated customer banking details to funnel payments into accounts controlled by her husband and cousin. Despite her ability to process payments, she could not execute them immediately due to a token needed, which was the responsibility of another employee. After leaving the company in September 2017, another employee provided her with the token, allowing her to release payments totalling more than R3-million (N268-million) to herself from September 2017 until March 2018. The fraudulent activities came to light when the bank alerted the company about suspicious transactions. Subsequent investigations by the police led to Khan’s first court appearance on 31 May 2018. In court, Khan pleaded guilty to the charges and attributed her criminal conduct to financial difficulties, claiming she needed the money for essentials. These apparently included purchasing a motor vehicle for her husband. However, evidence in the pre-sentence report revealed that she had used the stolen funds for gambling. During sentencing proceedings, Khan sought leniency based on her responsibilities towards her three minor children aged 6, 12, and 15, and cited ill health as factors in her favour. In response, Prosecutor Advocate Pulane Segalo argued that Khan had committed serious offences, emphasising that she had betrayed the trust of her employers for personal gain. She urged the court to impose a sentence of direct imprisonment to reflect the gravity of her actions. KHAN ABSCONDS COURT, HIDES FROM AUTHORITIES The matter was postponed to 3 March 2023 for the judgment on the sentence; however, Khan absconded, leading to a warrant for her arrest. Over a year later, on 30 August 2024, she was located hiding, in a freezer at her new home in Nigel, leading to her arrest and court appearance today. Consequently, the court determined that the only suitable sentence in these circumstances was imprisonment. When delivering the sentence, Magistrate Du Preez agreed with the state, stating that Khan’s actions were motivated by greed rather than necessity. He noted that Khan did not demonstrate genuine remorse; she pleaded guilty only due to the realisation of the consequences of her actions. FINALLY SENT TO JAIL Khan was found guilty on 63 counts of fraud that resulted in losses exceeding R3 million. In addition to this, Khan received a further 4-year imprisonment for theft amounting to R350 000. The court ordered that these sentences run concurrently, resulting in an effective sentence of 10 years in prison. Mahanjana said the NPA welcomed the ruling. “This case serves as a reminder that the NPA is dedicated to prosecuting fraud and maintaining integrity within financial dealings in South Africa.”
