Despite all the good treatments Igbos have shown them, they sort of prefer the hausa/fulanis to Igbos religion notwithstanding. This is their average thought pattern there. My part of Igboland housed Akwa Cross people during the war and they were well treated to the point that some returned back to live with us as indigenes.

Everybody received a better treatmen during the old Eastern region The reason why it seems like some people were not included was because our independence was still new, development was still spreading to all corners before the civil war struck.
Infact not only some minorities complained about not getting satisfied during that time , the current Ebonyi people today also complained that's why one Ebonyi commissioner was seen on channels TV saying that Ebonyi won't join the old Eastern region again during that period restructuring was on everybody's lips. (I will search for the video so that you can watch it).. Anybody that is telling you that Igbos marginilized him is either being Mischievous or stupid or to justify his Igbophibia.
Now what they are getting is ordinary 13 percent while Igbos are still benefiting from the same oil.. Now who is foolish ?
Look at their environment, it's not worth discussing.
Remember that Enugu people used to boast about coal like some Niger Delta militants are currently boasting with oil until coal became useless. But
the good thing about Enugu is that they used their recourses very well hence having the best planned city and developed .. Despite the fact Enugu stopped being the capital for close to half century (50) yrs ago, Enugu was listed among the top 100 mosry resilient cities alongside with Paris.

Now if Oil becomes worthless like coal which is inevitable (25 yrs time ), what would be the fate of Niger Delta?
