Hello! Please during my registration, I picked University of Ibadan and OAU. If OAU request for transcript before admission, what about UI?

Be inform that neither OAU or UI accept second choice, having said that you have to prepare your transcript and address it to UI which is your first choice. But before sending your transcript to UI try make the enquiry to know if UI do conduct screening exam for DE aspirants and if they do please do not waste money and time for transcript until you got admission.

Sorry to bother you but I need help on the above. I applied for the above scholarship few days ago and got an sms today that I have been shortlisted and a link to follow for the online exam.

The problem now is that they require a payment before one can proceed. This is giving me concern as to the authenticity of the programme because this is my first time of hearing of such in any scholarship programme.

From my little research, the company checks out but I'm unable to get any testimony as to truism of the payment.

I therefore would appreciate help from anyone who can help me out on any information about this.

I'll post some screenshots in my next post.

I hope you will not fall for this cheap scam, I expect you as learned as you're to identify this cheap scam at the first sight. Even a jss 1 students know this cheap scam. Ask your self this three questions
1 Will oil company or even palm oil company be so poor to redirect you to google drive for documents download?
2. Will a genuine genuine company shortened their link with bitly?
3. Why issuing a certificate or whatever document when you didn't even sit for screening?
Please run away from this old scam. Run! Run!! Run!!! Runnnnnnn

Sir, please which school is easier to gain admission through direct entry I graduated with upper 3.35

I can talk of federal universities in southern Nigeria alone. Unilag only admit distinction students so practically you're not there, the following federal universities are fair in direct entry admission but you must score at leat above average in screening.
Uniben sets 100 questions to be completed in 1hr so score 55 and above
Unibadan, UNN, Futa, funaab, futo, umudike, Uniuyo
Unical can easily admit you through direct entry if you pass their screening but stay away from unizik because they don't admit much of DE. Uniport don't even take DE student at all they rather want you to come for their top up program

Yes UNN don't accept second choice
All pre admission screening is conducted only in Nsukka campus

Hi I will try my best to answer ur questions, firstly your olevel is perfectly good for DE, but note that direct entry admission doesn't consider how good your waec or Neco result is. This means that your olevel result is not necessary as far as you have the required 5 credits in the compulsory subjects.
To your questions
1. Yes you can register DE with awaiting result their is no problem with that provided that it will be ready during clearance if you're giving admission. So go ahead and use awaiting result to register your DE
2. No!!! You don't need to submit transcript now until after graduation if you succeeds with the admission, however school like OAU will request for your transcript before admission is offered because it doesn't conduct post direct entry screening. Don't worry about transcript for now and i repeat don't waste your money and time for transcript to avoid stories that touch

Finally, I will advice you to apply to UNN because if you can pass your screening, then admission is sure for you than any other federal university. So go for UNN

Its clear that some elements in the media houses own by APC chiefs and even some APC top members are not telling the president the true story of what it is like in the grassroots. Maybe they are either secretly working for opposition party or they're planning or thinking they will rig the election hence not doing much to ensure the reelection of Mr President. Here are the consequences of these two beliefs
1. Working secretly for opposition will only give them temporary relief but at the long run the opposition will show them the way out if opposition if opposition eventually emerged winner
2. Believing you will use the force to rig election is deadly move because such act in this general election can plunge the country into another civil unrest or war. The best thing is work hard to convince many grassroots to vote you.
The truth should be told and let them stop deceiving Mr president, the only region the president can or will win with slim margin is north west. I'm from the southern Nigeria and I have the opportunity to move round the states in the South and interact with grassroots except Oyo state. When you go down the grassroot especially in SW you will be surprise that Mr President do not have up to 10% grassroot support. Its only the few upper political class and semi middle political class are supporting the president especially in SW none of those classes you can find in the SE and SS.

My advice to mr president is to please step up your campaign strategy and reach out more to the people and stop entrusting your reelection to selfish fellows who are not doing anything for you but rather believing to using intimidation to win election. Mr President you deserves your two terms like everyone else did. The deceitful fellows have even paid some persons especially on nairaland to create multiple users to derail any thread that seek to address their evil motives, I expect them to derail this thread too..

My President the grassroots are not with you please step up your campaign strategy if not the selfish fellows will led you to a lost like they did to Jonathan in 2015. I rest my case.

UNN accepts 2:2 just prepare for your screening it will be a roller coastal for you but make sure its the same course you will apply for

2. The names in my Neco result is Kola wasiu while my passport bears kola wasiu bello which is my full name
3. ND certificate bears Kola Wasiu .B
4. HND certificate bears Kola Wasiu Bello.
Should I apply for Visa with just WAEC result and forgot mentioning about my Diploma due lots of differences in names on documents since I have corrected the whole discrepancies on the WAEC I wrote this last May/June?
NOTE: I'm 24
