I don't know where desperation will take us to in this country. When you search for review of any organization who claims to be helping people on the internet and you can't find any, that's is an indication they're scam.

If they're real you, would be seeing everyone singing there praises.

If you foolishly pay €29 (N30k) to one scam out there. Then I pity you.

Once you pay that money, it means they have open officy on you and you will keep paying until you lose your senses.

They're scam run

Politics / With BVAS Can Tinubu Get 20% Votes In 2023 Except SW (OPINION) by wasiubello: 12:45pm On Oct 30, 2022
Looking at political atmosphere in Nigeria today, do you think Tinubu can get up to 20% vote of any region except in the South West?. If the election goes the way of BVAS

Even though some unchins are still trying to consolidate themselves with Northern votes which we know is mostly for Atiku, Kwankwaso and possibly for Obi in North Central and Christian dominated states in the north.

No emotions, no consoling, be factual, where can Tinubu get 20% in a fair election in Nigeria today?

In fact, BVAS will even help Tinubu win easier especially in the north
Hahahahaha let me believe you're joking. Tinubu can not organically attract vote from any region apart from Southwest.

Can Tinubu hold rally in any state in Nigeria, especially in the north without paying billions of naira to attract crowd? No and you're aware of this

My brother, if this election go the way of BVAS with minimal rigging, Tinubu will come distance third or fourth

hope u know just 1 bloc vote from borno or yobe will cancel everything in the south east

Kano, katsina votes will cancel whatever peter obi have to offer in south south
Bro, if Inec implement BVAS then there will be nothing like Bloc vote.

Why you're seeing Bloc vote in the north is as a result of self allocation of votes. But with BVAS it will shock you that there will be nothing like block vote, but a split votes according to people's wish

Hi guys, please I'm having concerns withdrawing my fund from payoneer to my GTB dorm account. I got $10 deducted of every fund I received from payoneer to Gtb dorm. Who is taking my $10 dollars is it Gtb or who? This is outside the the normal payoneer service charge. Who has had such experience?
Business / Re: HELP! I Got Charged $10 By Gtb For Receiving Find From Payoneer by wasiubello: 9:21am On Sep 04, 2022
DesignMaestro:
It is payoneer that charged you $10 not GTB. You should contact their customer care reps since amount you are withdrawing is more can $500. Moreover, you said GTB staff told you to contact the sender. Payoneer are criminals. How I wish we have plethora of options.

If you are withdrawing your earning in dollars and the amount is not more than $500, they will rip you off. Unless you withdraw into your Naira account which they will give you far too low exchange rate.

I think that is insane. They are just exploiting us. But do we have choice? Freelancing from Nigeria is difficult. Imagine you earn $100 from Fiverr. FIVERR charge $3 for withdrawal to payoneer and payoneer gives you two terrible options:

1. Withdraw to your Naira account at the rate of NGN406 or
2. Withdraw to your domiciliary account and be charged $10 since the amount is not more than $500.

However, it is still mathematically better to withdraw into your domiciliary and pay $10 than to withdraw at N406 per dollar.

Imagine if one can work on fiverr from Nigeria and withdraw directly into his Nigerian domiciliary account with no third party.
That will be much na, accounting to OP payoneer has charged him $18 then another additional $10 from Nowhere , so total will be $28=N19,600 charge to get ones earning. God help us in this country to overcome this someday

Politics / Misconceptions That Tinubu Can Win Atiku In The North by wasiubello: 8:19am On Jul 30, 2022
I read some emotional comments and sentimental election outcome analysis from some of the Tinubu supporters.
"Tinubu will win the North East"
"Tinubu will win North Central"
"Tinubu will win the Northwest."
" Kwankwaso will support Tinubu over Atiku and his fellow tribesmen and Fulani." Hmm
" Some will say Tinubu will win Atiku in Adamawa."

All these analysis and comments are LAUGHABLE

I'm yet to get where these facts are coming from, but I will just believe they're consolidating comments and anaysis.

Anyone who has noticed the gale of defection from APC members in the North to PDP will understand that the North doesn't want to cede power to the South.
The sure bet for the southern presidency is for Tinubu, Peter Obi, Wike, Makinde, and all southern political gladiators to find common ground and work together or go nowhere.

Believe it or not, Kwankwaso will definitely collapse his structure on Atiku very soon for the north to have a formidable force. Anyone thinking otherwise is living in the dark.

Finally, neither Tinubu nor Obi can get up to 20% of northern votes; however, Obi has a better chance because of northern Christian voters.

Like @officialDj has said earlier, what lands you jobs in upwork is mainly your proposal or cover letter.

As a matter of fact, my profile is only 80% completion, but I got invite to all most every application I put forward.

Last week I rejected an offer from a German hospital because I have my hands full already.

So, If you want to land jobs in Upwork try and work on your cover letter. An enticing cover letter does 90% of the job for you, and really your profile

Don't limit yourself to Upwork , try other platforms too, Upworks has too much freelancer and experienced ones too. so might not be you.

try AngelList or finding a niche skill.

So also they have too much job too for both experience and inexperience

When I was making some research about Upwork, I came across a post where a moderator said identity cannot be verified until a freelancer starts earning.
I think that means until a freelancer lands his/her first job, they won't ask for ID verification.
I can't be sure about this though.
Probably ask someone more experienced with the platform.
Yes, you're correct, verification will only triggered when you land your first job. I see many here that are newbies to upwork , that will rather read and learn but instead advising blindly

Sure, go ahead and make Upwork ban Nigerians thus making it harder for more Nigerians to access international gigs and make a living for themselves

them swear for Nigerians say make una no dey follow procedures?

The constant need to destroy any working system is something I can't understand yet very peculiar to Nigerians
The OP and so many others here are Nigerians with over $5k in earnings. One writer I saw his profile had 100k in earnings and his location says Nigeria. So what's inspiring this act of fraud?

Una dey tire me for the country
Because they have ban you before, keep shut for what you're ignorant of

Upwork frowns at double registration else I would have advise you just start over.

You could try posing as a Nigerian living in the states, and see how that goes. But so many others thing would probably hinder this, like the Tax form US people have to fill

Between the double registration and continuing the lie, I would say risk it with a fresh registration, the US lie won't fly at the end, so many checks prevents that
Quiet and stop talking what you can't prove. Why are you people full of conjectures?

what if upwork ask you to make a video verification.
don't you think they can get your IP address ? may be you can use VPN right ? but will you keep using for your entire upwork journey.
you will really regret such action if you earn +100k and your account is permanently banned.
search for talents @ upwork you will see alot of Nigerians making a huge amount with Nigerian location.
even me I don't earn yet but my first proposal at upwork. I get to an interview stage by a client in UAE.
you follow a bad suggestions from bad people.
You people talk what you don't know or trying to deceive the dude not to succeed with Upwork. Keep shut if you don't know what to say. Be well inform that its extremely difficult to succeed on Upwork Nigeria identity, though not impossible. But keep shut on what you don't know
