Love is comfortable, enveloping, gentle, healing, hopeful, joyful, powerful, visionary and welcoming.

[19] We love him, because he first loved us.

With love, there is no impossibility, but you must first return to its source (Jesus) for renewal of mind.

Beloveth child of God, remember whence thou hast fallen and return back to your first God (love).

Jesus was specific in Revelation 2:4-5;
[4] Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first LOVE.
[5] Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Love is the foundation upon which every family, marriage, church, ministry, organization, and society must return to in order to enjoy peace and longevity.

Jesus said; “and repent, and do the first works”

Let me ask you this question.
If a man walks up to a lady and say “hello Dear I hate you, will you marry me? Or an employer invited you for an interview and said, I hate you, come and work with me.”
What shall be your response and inner conviction to accept such an offer?

Know ye not that the Word of God did not say in vain in Psalms 11:3-4;
[3] If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
[4] The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

Every trial comes to ascertain the strength of the foundation of every man, marriage, family, home, church, ministry, institutions, nations and so on.

When the foundation of an institution or a system is sure, the trials and challenges that comes may temporarily alter the physical beauty of it, but after renovation, it becomes more beautiful and modern.

That is the process of refinement through the furnace of affliction.
Isaiah 48:10-11;
[10] Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver (riches and affluence); I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction (trials).
[11] For mine (love) own sake, even for mine (love) own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another. (Emphasis added)

Be watchful.

In this generation of ours where parental love is misinterpreted to ‘allow me to do whatsoever I like, if you love me’ in the hearts of our children; with nations equally giving children certain rights and privileges to stand against their parents.

You have to realize that chastening is an indelible part of love.
In God’s bid to make the best out of us as a loving Father, he sometimes allow us go through tough times, hot rebuke and scourging, but with a smiling face behind the disciplinary strokes.

Hebrews 12:6
For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

For it is the Holy Spirit that gives man power to excel in life, church, family, ministry, marriage and even politically.

When your propelling force in life is divine, obstacles become stepping stones, while on the contrary, every obstacle will be seen as unsurmountable mountains.

Acts 1:8
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Love is visionary, love guides, directs and disciplines.

Any professed love without vision and discipline is only a seductive trap, because even God the Root and Offspring of love says in Hebrews 12:6-8;
[6] For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
[7] If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
[8] But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

Anything done in love brings quick satisfaction because it connects to the trio (soul, spirit and body), and easily attracts divine attention.

Let your actions be propelled by love.

As the speed of a boat depends largely on the spin power of the propeller, that is how the progress of every institution is dependent on love.

However, the propeller does not function until it is connected to the Drive shaft.

Leaders, ministers and parents must ensure firm connection with the Holy Spirit in order to activate the love that propels the speed of the institution (boat).

The Holy Spirit being likened to the Drive Shaft in this context is what spins the propeller (love). But these two operates only on the power given to them by the connecting rod and piston (Jesus Christ).

John 14:26
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Romans 5:5
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Love guarantees access to personalities and divinity.
In love, Jesus granted access to the little children and then related them to divinity.

The Trinity is established in love and as such, no one can truly sustain fellowship with the Holy Spirit without love.

Mark 12:33-34
[33] And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
[34] And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.

As parents, it is important we submit ourselves to our children by not only listening to them, but also doing their bid sometimes and in the process introduce our own view.

Submitting to one another breaks the fallow ground of fear and opens the heart.

Fear is a major obstacle to growth and building of love.
Gifts does not remove fear, but communication in love casteth away fear.

1 John 4:18

When a father feels too busy to stoop to the level of his children to play and listen to them at times, then just know that whatsoever that man labours to build may likely end in the drain.

Because children are very inquisitive, always having something to ask at one point or the other, and if the clog of unanswered questions in their hearts are taken outside in search of solution, hmm beloveth, it will be very unfortunate.

Beloveth child of God, it is high time we started to rebuild the immunity of our marriages, families, homes, institutions, churches, towns, villages and so on.

The task of rebuilding our marriages, families, homes, and institutions require submitting to one another in love.

The word Submit; according to English Dictionary, means to yield or give way to another.

Ephesians 5:21-22,25-26
[21] Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
[22] Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
[25] Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
[26] That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

Did you observe that before the wife (younger or minor, in this context) was asked to submit, there is a prior instruction of submitting to one another in verses 21?

Yielding to one another in the fear of God is key to the building of any sustainable institution.

Jesus Christ, despite being the King of kings, had to come down to the level of man in order to build the relationship required to win mankind back to God.

To win humanity, Jesus Christ established a communicating relationship with men, which led to the sanctification of man through washing of water by the Word.
This is the process of renewing of the mind by the Word.

As husband’s we must give listening ears to the suggestions of our wife’s; while the wife’s must also give attention to the words of their husband.

As parents, it is important we submit ourselves to our children by not only listening to them, but also doing their bid sometimes and in the process introduce our own view.

Submitting to one another breaks the fallow ground of fear and opens the heart.

Love is the divine identity Jesus gave to his disciples. He didn’t print special identity card neither was any special tag given to them.

By love shall all men know that you are my child.
By love shall all men know that this is my family, my church, my home, my town, my organization, my ministry, my nation, etc.

Child of God, can men look at you and see the identity of Christ in you? Or anger, envy, malice, bitterness, lies, hatred, immorality, and other negative vices have become your new identity even though you profess to be a child of God?

And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Longevity is guaranteed when we dwell in God and God in us; attainable through that narrow path of love that leadeth unto life.
No wonder only few there be that can find it.

Beloveth child of God, just take a little inventory of how many times you’ve tried to reach out in love and the resultant discouraging effects from some of those you helped and most times from people that hath nothing at all to do with you.

This is because Satan the arch enemy of man don’t want any man to be endeared in the heart of God.

Jesus Christ was able to be so impactful as to leave with us an eternal legacy because he despised the shame and set His heart on the glory ahead.

You and I must despise the shame, rejection, discouraging words and actions of men, and strive in love to take our place in God as the children of the Highest.

Some times, when certain persons we believe to be children of God dies, we ask how could God allow such a thing to happen.

But when we view things through God’s lens, certain doubts, questions and anxieties won’t even come to mind.

“he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him; your life is hid with Christ in God.”

He that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God; not he that goeth to church, dwelleth in church, ordained as priest, elder, deacon and so on that dwelleth in God, but only those who dwell in love.

It is emphatically clear that only those who dwell in love have their lives hid with Christ in God.

Revelation 3:7-11
[7] And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
[8] I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
[9] Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
[10] Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
[11] Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

The absence of love in any society, organization, church, ministry, etc; is the reason men take the place of God in the lives of others. It is the root of oppression and manipulation.

Matthew 6:14-15
[14] For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
[15] But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Love forgives, but the absence of it is the trigger of revenge.
God said; “vengeance is mine” so avenging yourself is directly taking the place of God.
Today, many have ignorantly become gods of men.

Child of God, it’s time we locate and return back to that narrow path of love that leadeth to life.

Thou soldier of the cross, have you considered the pains of past injuries and lost your focus on the kingdom vision for which you represent as an Ambassador?

You are not an excellency born out of flattery, but an one ordained by love.

The enemy has depleted the faith of so many in the Body of Christ today because of persistent activities from people who lack love for God.

The Philadelphia church in Revelation chapter three was called the faithful church because of their love for God.
