LIFE AND TIME (Part 17)

As you were not the one that chose who should be your parents and where you should come from, that is also how you are not in the position to decide your location.

Inquire from God our Maker who have the charter of your life and he’ll lead you to your location.

Your destiny helpers are waiting for you at your location.

God is the Maker and Author of all creation, but He gave man the will-power to either depend on Him or walk against his fate.

Deuteronomy 30:19 says;
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Did you notice in that scripture that the decision is left to man?

Consequentially, it implies that our momentary thoughts, actions, choices, decisions and even inactions are not only being recorded, but they are equally being weighed according to the time we give to each.

Beloveth, it is not too late for you to get things right. If Abraham, Terah’s son had not heeded the voice of God and left his father’s house and country for his place of destiny, Abraham would have ended as one nonentity.

Many a person’s have been able to identify their purpose but are either afraid or unwilling to move out of their comfort zone to their location.
Beloveth, time is passing and life is winding up on you.

Abraham had to leave the goats, rams, sheep’s, and all other sacrificial and palatial merriments, being a son to the chief priest of a national deity, just imagine the lifestyle!

What are you afraid of letting go?

LIFE AND TIME (Part 16)

Despite the automation of life and time, some individuals still make something worth remembering in the course of their sojourn here on earth, while some ended up as mere passerby.

WHY?

The principal reason so many persons fail in life is in the positioning of their mind and what they set their hearts upon.

God saith in His word in; Proverbs 23:7; For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:..
Matthew 6:21; For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

The word thinketh, is a present continuous tense, so if you can renew your thoughts and allow the Holy Spirit through that small still voice to lead you from now on, your life will for a surety turn a new.

No human actually wishes to be poor or live in penury but, sometimes we allow situations and circumstances surrounding us to shape us, rather than seeing those circumstances as our refinement process.

For crude oil to be a sort-after natural resource, it wasn’t stored in the refrigerator. It went through series of turbulent and extreme thermal refinement processes in order to deliver its consumable end products for the common man.

Child of God, you are a solution in the making.
Crude oil is not stored in the kitchen like palm oil and other vegetable oils.
Locate your niche and stick to it.

God is everywhere, but there is a location for every man; no matter your level of gifts, talents and endowments, you can’t be the best of you until you locate and deliberately decide to step into your divine location.

LIFE AND TIME (Part 15)

LIFE AND TIME!
Adam’s momentary thoughts, decisions and actions brought him to misery, while Christ’s momentary thoughts, decisions and actions took Him to eternal glory.

Watch your thoughts closely and if, they are not in conformity with the word of God, then quickly renew your mind and actions because they will determine where and how you’ll end.

Hidden in every seed no matter how small the seed may appear, is a mighty tree destined to give shade and food to generations.

In the midst of the darkness and confusion you find yourself, if only you can be attentive to that small still voice of the Holy Spirit whispering to you right now and act on it, you’ll suddenly realize that now is that long awaited time you’ve been looking out for.

For seeds to grow into long lasting trees, they have to be planted and weeds growing around them constantly removed.

Giving attention to that small still voice to grasp what it says is like the preparation of your nursery bed; when you lay hold of the thought/word/picture dropped in your heart and you go further to meditate on it, that’s the sowing of that seed. Your constant meditation on what you’ve heard/seen is the nourishment needed for that seed to grow in you.

Remember what Joshua 1:8 says; This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

You must work hard to counter and not give attention to thoughts that negates what God has deposited in you, those are the weeds. Your fruitfulness in life is greatly dependent on the amount of time and care you give to the word of God deposited in you.

LIFE AND TIME (Part 14)

Revelation 5:10 says; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

The desperate quest of man for modernization and technological advancement, gave the devil an ample opportunity to infiltrate the human race with divers ideas and creatures that will only attract the wrath of God upon man.

Beloveth child of God, please return to your Maker today.

The true identity of man can only be discovered in Christ. Mind you; it is impossible to recover without discovery, and as a result of the severance of man from God from the time of Adam, man’s power and control over life and time was cut short from that day.
True life eluded man from that day.

Life became tough and time was limited.
Genesis 3:17-19;
[17] And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
[18] Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
[19] In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Prior to the fall of man, God never reminded Adam that he was from dust. Sometimes God ignores our foundation and tends to position us first before sending us to go back and correct the foundational errors of our background, but our lifestyle, choices, decisions and actions pushes Him to point us back to where we came from.

Adam died and was buried and up until this very day, Adam’s body still remain buried; Jesus Christ died, he was equally buried, but He rose again, got transfigured and He’s now seated at the right hand of God in glory.

Adam died and his body decayed; Jesus Christ died and even the earth could not keep His body! Hmm…
LIFE AND TIME!
Adam’s momentary thoughts, decisions and actions brought him to misery, while Christ’s momentary thoughts, decisions and actions took Him to eternal glory.

LIFE AND TIME (Part 13)

Romans 12:2; And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Beloveth, if you don’t constantly renew your mind with the word of God, you are very likely to become obsolete soon and end up in misery.

Note: Life and Time are automated, so they wait for nobody.

We are all products of God’s thoughts, just as everything you see on earth actually started with just one thought. Idleness is not when your hands are not at work but, when you your mind becomes dormant.
“An idle mind is the devil’s workshop.”

When you consistently engage your heart and mind with the word of God, God’s creative virtue begins to trickle into you, and as time goes on, it begins to flow like a river, you’ll begin to see clearer pictures and as you act on them, God’s creative ability will be activated in you.

We’ve had so many dreamers and thinkers who never accomplished anything, because they were only at the initiation stage; those dreams and thoughts were not acted upon.
Every thought whether good or bad, is an initial of a global project or program.

To whomever you give your heart to, that person takes your time and shapes your life into his own nature. If you give your life to Jesus Christ today, He will shape you into a divine creative project of peace; a royal priesthood, a king to reign here on earth in His stead and also reign with Him in Heaven.

LIFE AND TIME (Part 12)

Remember; TIME and CHANCE happeneth to them all, just as the axe is laid at the root of the tree, every branch that beareth not good fruits shall be hewn down.
For, I the Lord I’m a respecter of no man, I bring down one and setteth up another; I kill and I make alive; therefore let every man take heed to himself.

LIFE: Living Into Future Enterprise!
TIME: Thinking Into Momentary Enterprise!
Psalms 119:9;
Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

The ways of man are known through his thoughts which then spiral into words, from words to actions, and so on.

Many persons died not because it was actually time for them to die, but because they couldn’t resist the thoughts of death being pumped into their thought system by the enemy, who’s chief assignment is to kill, steal and destroy. John 10:10.

The devil understand the mystery and the tie between life and time, that is why he is never tired of engaging people with thoughts, imaginations, actions and activities that will constantly keep them distracted from their purpose, because he is aware of the automation of life and time with its expiry date per individual.
Time lost is irrecoverable.

It is pertinent for man to consistently renew his mind in order to remain in touch with the purpose of creation according to the timing of life in due seasons.

LIFE AND TIME (Part 11)

Revelation 20:12; And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Beloveth, the books that shall be opened shall be to examine your deeds, if they are in tandem with the original charter of your life.

Learn to inquire of the Lord what His time and will is before you complain or call people names. Except the Lord remember you, no man can be of help to you.

Note: Those who look down on time, get roughly humbled with time because, they'll cry out, but there will be no more time for them.

According to one of our earlier scriptures in the book of Revelation 22:12, and it says; “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”

…“to give every man according as his work shall be.” This is an express statement of time and work.
Reward is given to people who have worked, laboured, processed, etc.
But, the Lord Jesus Christ speaking further saith; “according as his work shall be.” Shall is a modal auxiliary verb used to indicate the future, while reward is for people who have laboured in the past and are to be given some height of comfort and recognition.

Our Lord and Chief Shepherd–Jesus Christ, spoke conjunctively in this scripture, depicting a time to settle those that have laboured and are now heavy laden and those that will be mobilized to continue the works or break new fallow ground according to the purpose of their creation.

What you do with your time now shall determine whether you’ll expire with the outgoing generation or be mobilize to site (field) according to your purpose and processing.

While some will be settled with peace, joy, love, rest, comfort and so on; many others will receive dire consequences for their misappropriation of time, gifts, talents, grace and resources.

While some youths are being mobilize to takeoff their works with new zeal, passion, ideas, higher level of faith and financial empowerment, many other youths will suddenly be called home because of refusal to pass through their incubation process.

Remember; TIME and CHANCE happeneth to them all, just as the axe is laid at the root of the tree, every branch that beareth not good fruits shall be hewn down.
For, I the Lord I’m a respecter of no man, I bring down one and setteth up another; I kill and I make alive; therefore let every man take heed to themselves.

LIFE AND TIME (Part 10)

The quality of life you’ll live is completely dependent on the choices, decisions and the actions you take today.

Value every moment because it is counting for or against you.

Note: Any person that gives you attention is directly sharing his life with you out of love, learn to be appreciative.

For our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to successfully accomplish his earthly ministry(mission), he understood the value of time.

John 7:6 says; Then Jesus said unto them, My TIME is not yet come:..

He (Jesus Christ) the author of time had respect for time because, it is a principal rule that everything, both living and non living, animate and inanimate things rot away with time.

Matthew 26:18; And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My TIME is at hand;..

If you read in-between lines, in the two scriptures above, the Lord Himself, from whom all things were made and without whom nothing was made; personally acknowledged ‘TIME.’
Before his manifestation, he mentioned time; and in the second scripture before his death, he equally made mention of time, just to show us how important time is in every man’s life.

Your life has been preplanned; meaning, there is a charter for every human, you either draw close to God and allow Him to walk you through the charter of your life or you create another path for yourself at your own detriment.

Ephesians 1:11; In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Hebrews 10:7; Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

LIFE AND TIME (Part 9)

Daniel was further examined through the lions’ den process which qualified him for higher position and responsibilities.
In these few examples, one thing is common; ‘TIME.’ Non of the process lasted for a lifetime.

Brother Samson the son of Manoah jumped his process and started drinking and flirting with ladies…
You know how he ended!

King David Jesse entered his rest; brother Gideon Joash also had rest, but brother Samson Manoah did not enter his rest because of his misappropriation of time and inordinate affection for strange women.

May God deliver us from every demonic affection in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen!

Psalms 39:4; LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.

When you learn to number your days, you’ll always be burdened with ‘Lord, I don’t want to fail you, please let me know what you would have me do for you today.’

When this becomes the greatest burden in your heart, with time, God will connect you to someone He’ll use to unveil your glorious future and the momentary steps and actions needed to get to the peak of your purpose.

The preacher said in Ecclesiastes 3:1: To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Don’t be deceived Beloveth, preparation precede celebration. Your preparedness now is the determinant of your celebration tomorrow.
The quality of life you’ll live is completely dependent on the choices, decisions and the actions you take today.

LIFE AND TIME (Part

Seeds and pictures of your purpose could be given momentarily to you, but its delivery can only come when you’ve been tried by the WORD OF THE LORD (Jesus Christ), through His own process. God breaks protocols, of a surety yes, but God does not break His own process.

WHAT IF YOU ARE IN YOUR INCUBATION PERIOD RIGHT NOW?..

The machine called incubator is known for its heat generation; to the baby being processed, it is a place of comfort and safety, but on the contrary, if you incubate a normal person, it will only lead to discomfort and possible suffocation.

My incubation process is different from yours that is why you need to at all times depend on your processor (Jesus Christ) for you to know if you are still on track or you’ve jumped out of your own lane.

2 Corinthians 13:5; Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

God is timely in all His doings and can’t be pushed around by your situation if you keep jumping out of your process. It is your procession that guarantees your production and steady fruitfulness in life.

Like Joseph, God can reveal your future to you in a dream; He can also use someone else like His holy prophets’ and servants to make known your purpose and future, the prices you must pay to unlock each phase of your future.

Beloveth, don’t be envious of other people’s success because you don’t know what they went through and how long or short their process was.

King David the son of Jesse was processed in the field, where he had to fight with a lion and a she Bear with bare hands just to defend his father’s flocks and their servants.

Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego had to become vegetarians as part of their own process.
Daniel was further examined through the lions’ den process which qualified him for higher position and responsibilities.
In these few examples, one thing is common; ‘TIME.’ Non of the process lasted for a lifetime.

LIFE AND TIME (Part 7)

In the search for purpose, many have put their hands into unimaginable things and gone to unthinkable places.

Beloveth, purpose discovery leads to satisfaction, contentment, joy and peace of mind, it settles your inner longings and establishes the presence of God around you all the time.

Child of God, think into your momentary enterprise and soon you’ll start living into your future enterprise.
Don’t be afraid of starting small. Think big, but start small.

God started creation within Himself (God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) “let us make man in our own image…” every building that shall stand the test of time is largely dependent on the foundation.
Remember what Psalms 11:3 says; If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
It is only Jesus Christ, the foundation that is laid of old that can sort out your foundation and replant you back to your original shape, design and plan.

When man (the soul man) was made in the womb of God, God incubated the soul for generations before the physical man was formed.

Today, a zygote must pass through incubation to grow to a fetus and then to a child in a period of nine months in the womb for proper formation, if that life must stand, yet, it will be delivered as a baby and groomed from there.

Life and time are inseparable. Like the illustration above, every human being have their own process of incubation if they must be who God wants them to be.
For Joseph the son of Israel to be who he was destined to be, the Word of God incubated and processed him; from been thrown into a pit, to slavery, from slavery to prison and at some point he was even forgotten in the prison.
Psalms 105:17-22
[17] He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:
[18] Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
[19] Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.
[20] The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.
[21] He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
[22] To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.

Life is too short for you to continue wasting your time on what you can’t change.
Today is the bridge God has given you to fix up the errors of yesterday and cross over with ease to your divinely designed future.

But wait o!
How can one enter the future without knowing that future?...

Beloveth child of God, fear not nor be dismayed about the future, for your future is well written and properly documented before you were born.
Jeremiah 1:5; Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
Isaiah 49:1; Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.

You are a divine project in the hand of God, you are a piece in the master plan of God for the world, there are many souls out there who’s life can’t be complete without encountering you.

The new Guinness world record holder ‘Hilda Baci’ started from zero hour, but the proper use of her time and her determination to act on the thought of setting a new world record through her ‘Cook A Thon’ challenge has paid off. Through the proper use of her momentary thoughts, her kitchen assistant whom you and I never knew before, is now trending on many global platforms.
Tell me how Hilda Baci’s kitchen assistant’s life would’ve been complete if Hilda Baci was somewhere prostituting?

Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life, He is the DATA BASE of all creation.
John 1:3-4; All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
[4] In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

It is only in the Source and from the Manufacturer, you’ll be able to discover the true raw materials used in the creation of any item, its purpose (reason for creation) and its full capabilities and functionality. Jesus Christ is the RAW MATERIAL, while God the Father is our MANUFACTURER, and as such, if you don’t depend on your Manufacturer, how then will you find or discover the real reason you were created?
In the search for purpose, many have put their hands into unimaginable things and gone to unthinkable places.

Beloveth, purpose discovery leads to satisfaction, contentment, joy and peace of mind, it settles your inner longings and establishes the presence of God around you all the time.

Child of God, think into your momentary enterprise and soon you’ll start living into your future enterprise.
Don’t be afraid of starting small. Think big, but start small.

God’s meditation and pro-activeness gave birth to life and all that is in it.
When your mind goes to sleep(idle), you’ll find your self getting involved in other people’s matters (busybody), and wandering from one negative thought to another, clouded with confusing thoughts and imaginary pictures, wasting away your precious life and time.

Child of God, come to the Light of life (Jesus Christ) and receive a new dawn, it is not too late.

The psalmist rightly made bare the relationship between time, life and right inclination of the heart to wisdom according to Psalms 90:12; “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”

Wisdom; according to the English dictionary, is the discretionary us of knowledge for the greatest good.
Discretion is your ability to think and take right and insightful decisions based on your knowledge, experience, influence, etc.

God in His mercy promised to do a new thing, but with the condition that you forget about the former things.
Isaiah 43:18-19; Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
[19]Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Cast your mind off your past failures, heartbreaks, disappointments, because you can’t change your past. You can live in your past but you can’t change your past.

When you fix your mind on your past more than you envision the future, then you are living in your past and you’ll soon become obsolete. I don’t think there’s anyone who want to grow in this present time and the phone he/she will choose to use is the first generation of Nokia 3310.
How will such a person access knowledge in this digital world?
Life is too short for you to continue wasting your time on what you can’t change.

And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good…
God saw that everything he made including you and I, “WAS VERY GOOD.” But on the contrary, lack of creative thinking (meditation on the word of God) has made many persons condemn themselves and allowed the devil to lie to them that nothing good can come out of them.
Was God drunk when he saw you and said you were very good?
Child of God, awake from your sleep and be a productive enterprise to your generation and Maker.

Remember, Beloveth child of God what the word of God in Proverbs 19:15; says: Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul (mind) shall suffer hunger.
1 Timothy 5:13: And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.
“An idle mind is the devil’s workshop”
God meant every single word He spoke concerning you, because He is not a man that He should lie; neither is He the son of man that He should repent of His words.
Your momentary thinking (meditation) on the word of God and practical follow ups on the thoughts and imaginary pictures God will deposit in your heart and mind will eventually lead you to encountering God’s thought concerning you.
Beloveth, after God meditated within Himself about creation, he didn’t go to sleep, He went ahead through His Spirit to hover over the earth that was without form and void, with unimaginable darkness upon the face of the deep.

God said in His word in Revelation 4:11; "...for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."
You and I, were created to give pleasure to God.
God in his infinite mercy made man from the dust as an empty vessel (the body), He went on to input in man His Spirit (being life and our capital deposit) by breathing into his nostrils and man became a living soul.
Genesis 2:7; And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
The soul was not made by hands but it is a product of God’s momentary thought.
Genesis 1:26; And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…
Just as every vessel is identified by its content, that is how you and I will be identified by our thoughts; those who think, study and act on the laws are identifies as lawyers, those who think, study, act and proffer solution to health challenges are called doctors, that’s why even the village man/woman who never had university training or certificate but practices medicine are called doctors.
You become what you think. God created man, gave him life, gifts, talents and blessed man in order to enable him fulfill God’s vision according to, Genesis 1:28-31
[28]And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
[29]And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
[30]And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

LIFE: Living Into Future Enterprise

TIME: Thinking Into Momentary Enterprise

Proverbs 23:7 Says; "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:.."

When a man dies, how long he lived is usually stated on the poster for everyone to know the length of time he lived. A man's life in its entirety, usually culminates to what he spent his time thinking. You are an express mirror of your thoughts.

The word 'Enterprise' according to the English dictionary is; "A company, business, organization, or other purposeful endeavor."
As every company, business or organization is geared towards profitability, that is how God deposits the capital called 'life' that you and I be profitable unto Him in future and 'time' (opportunities) for seasonal benefits in preparation for that glorious future.

Have you considered why the preacher said in Ecclesiastes 9:11"I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but TIME and CHANCE happeneth to them all."

The TIME here represent momentary/seasonal profitable thoughts while, CHANCE in this context stands for opportunity.

Many skilled, gifted, crafty, intelligent, elloquent, articulate, handsome, swift, wise and understanding talented souls are languishing in lack, pains, poverty and want because they ignored God's seed (thought/idea) sown in their hearts, so when the opportunity (chance) for their elevation showed up, they had nothing to offer.

God said in His word in Revelation 4:11; "...for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."
You are and were created to give pleasure to God.

Note: No unproductive business makes the owner happy!

LIFE AND TIME! (Part 1)

Have you ever considered why LIFE have four letters and TIME also have four letters?
LIFE= Living Into Future Enterprise.
TIME= Thinking Into Momentary Enterprise.

God is not measured by time because He created TIME and then stepped out of it in order to have full control of TIME, that is why HE is ALPHA and OMEGA.

We are limited by TIME because we are in time and as such, any man/woman who is not able to process his/her Momentary Thoughts as an Enterprise will idly watch his/her seconds slip into minutes, minutes slip into hours, hours slip into days, days slip into weeks, weeks slip into months, months slip into years and years slips into eternal doom.
No wonder Jesus Christ said in Matthew 25:30; "And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
Because he never processed the divine seeds of thoughts sown into his heart on time.

The empires and conglomerates you see today like Apple, Amazon, Dangote Group, Microsoft, etc. All started with a single thought and today, the processing of those thoughts has metamorphosed into multi billion dollar empires.

Proverbs 23:7 says; "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:" Your life will be measured by the amount of thoughts you processed into manifesting enterprise.

From today, begin to think and act positively so that you can be profitable to God and humanity in Jesus Christ's name.

I want you to understand that for the fact that a piece of gold is covered with mud, the mud does not make it less gold and only those who identify and clean it up enjoy the value therein.

Daniel was taken to Babylon as a slave boy.
Jesus Christ was born in a manger.
Mordecai was a slave who sat at the king’s gate, yet he was the one God used to save the king’s life.

Every destiny have someone God has preordained to activate it; just as every seed have the right soil.

When a seed is planted on the right soil, the seed grows and becomes fruitful enough to feed, heal and give shade to humans, animals, birds, fishes, etc.

While many myopically believe, they can’t help another person’s child to be somebody in life; they lack the understanding that from the day that seed blossoms, that tree birthed from that seed will become a center of attraction. Then that piece of land automatically changes name to a fertile land.

The land accommodates the seed, nourishes it and then the seed grows to change the identity of the land.

Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, in preparation for his core divine placement, mandate and calling was brought in to lay the foundation of the new Rivers State, as starting point to prove himself worthy of getting true divine trust, qualification, active divine backing and upliftment towards a higher task, and that was why God fought all the battles for his sustenance at different stages and offices because, the Lord shew me the birth of a new Rivers state and a new super-large, smart and clean capital city, where almost the whole of Okrika and environs expressly became part of Port Harcourt for the actualization and perfection of the original vision God embedded in the hearts of the British and the Portuguese concerning a portable island city/nation (been the reason why the city was named after the man Harcourt). In preparation for this, God also raised the king of Okochiri kingdom, so as to speak as well-informed insider and fatherly voice with influence and royalty to negotiate where necessary and address the Okrikans in particular and other concerned riverine people in general, in case the mantra of 'Ikwerre agenda' is raised against this divine project, but those who would stand against this project would have God to contend with and have their hopes smashed. One of the symbolic projects I saw in this great futuristic super-mega smart city, is an automated collapsible bridge been built across a well dredged river, wider and deeper than it was originally known, which made the city appear more like a tourist haven. Although I was not told where the large vessels
passing at the opening of the bridge is coming from or going to, but the redressed river appears to be located somewhere between the marine base river to other Okrika area but more specifically, the Lord God of hosts said, the laying of this new foundation automatically establishes the reunification platform for a new Rivers State in particular and Niger Delta in general. In humility of taking up and fulfillment of this redemption and nation building call, I see God backing Gov. Nyesom Wike for a higher placement while on the other hand, I also see God shifting away from him at the failure of answering this divine calling (God's chief reason for his elevation) and most of his today's supporters and ardent followers turning their backs on him, and suddenly his enemies' camp became enlarged and his political future troubled and threatened because of endless crises from different directions. The Lord also told me to inform Gov. Wike not to depend on political clamours and how much he'd given to the church or the large body of ministers surrounding and assuring or prophesying, but to simply seek the kingdom of God and its righteousness, been the perfect will of God per task and do it because this divine task stands to determine the outcome of the next phase of the governor's stand or future. Governor Wike's government was divinely mandated to lay this foundation and start the project for succeeding governments to continue because, God had prepared a vessel of humility with foresight and vision in order to bless the state with a human capital developer and rural development enthusiast, if only the new foundation of development is laid and if not; another wolf in sheep's clothing would be taking over, who shall, along the line, betray his master and destroy his predecessor's landmark progress and footprints. He's also to critically observe and learn from previously mandated and warned cases like that of their excellencies, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Late D.S.P. Alamieyeseigha, Godswill Akpabio, Bala Ngilari, etc...

Rivers: Dont pick your successor – Primate Ayodele warns Wike

Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church on Monday warned Governor Nyesom Wike about picking his successor in 2023.

Ayodele warned Wike not to pick a successor who would become his enemy.

In a statement by his Media Aide, Oluwatoyin Osho, the clergyman noted that Wike should seek the face of God in choosing the next governor of the state.

Ayodele said Wike’s successor is around him but the governor could choose the wrong person if care isn’t taken.

Prophet Ayodele said: “The next governor of Rivers State is around you, don’t pick the wrong person who will become your enemy, seek the face of God in everything you are doing, try to harmonize, bring everyone together to retain the state.

“If you don’t do the right thing, those you depend on will betray you, work in accordance with your party.”

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, on Tuesday, warned Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State over his presidential ambition.

President Ayodele disclosed that Wike should pursue the vice-presidential slot because he can never become Nigeria’s President.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele advised the governor not to waste his money and energy on his presidential ambition rather, he should support a presidential candidate that he can deputize in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

According to Ayodele: ‘’Governor Wike cannot become the president of Nigeria, he should pursue a vice president slot, he should not waste money and energy rather, he should support a presidential candidate that he can deputize.’’

He also warned the governor not to “shoot himself in the leg” because of his aspirations, while making it known that all power belongs to God.

The clergyman explained that God has a better future for the governor but if he isn’t careful, he will become a hindrance to God’s plans to be fulfilled.

“Try not to shoot yourself in the leg because of what you want to become in the PDP, take it easy, all power belongs to God, only Him can give you power, God has a better future for you but don’t hinder yourself,” he said.

‘’I’m not saying you should take my words, that’s what God has revealed to me, you need to get into the system so you won’t be a forgotten entity but not through the presidency. God will help you, He has promised you but don’t be the reason for those promises not to be kept, seek God’s face more.’’

Two policemen were killed when armed men in the early hours of Saturday set ablaze the Umuguma Divisional Police Headquarters in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State.

The attack came a few hours after the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of zone 9, Umuahia, Isaac Akinmoyede, left the state after a one-day working visit.

It also happened a few days after two warders who were part of a Joint Security Task Force were killed when gunmen attacked their patrol vehicle in Okigwe.

It was gathered that the gunmen had on arrival blocked the roads leading in and out of the station division, including the one close to the local government headquarters.

They thereafter launched the attack on the station by throwing Improvised electronic devices into the buildings.

It was further gathered that after setting the station on fire, they waited to attack officers who ran out for safety.

An eyewitness said the two policemen, unfortunately, ran into the rain of bullets.

Their names were given simply as Ifeanyi and Iyke.

They were said to be undergraduates of the Imo State University, Owerri.

The spokesperson for the police in the state, Micheal Abattam, was not available for comments.

No fewer than seven community leaders have been killed by gunmen in Mmahu autonomous community in Ohaji/Egbema LGA of Imo state.

The community leaders were reportedly killed by the gunmen who invaded the community on Tuesday morning.

Charles Mgaraho, president-general of the community, and six other leaders were killed in the attack.

The other leaders were identified as Edeme Okoro, Issac Ojenna, Anene Funky, Chasity Paulinus, Ndubuisi Nwabuishi, and Ifeyirinwoke Junior.

Elvis Iheanacho, an indigene of the community who confirmed the incident to TheCable, lamented the bloodshed and asked God to “come to our rescue and remove all the evildoers or anybody that will instigate problem in our land”.

Another source said the attackers invaded the houses of their targets and killed them one after the other.

TheCable learnt the hoodlums fled the scene immediately after killing the community leaders.

“We are still in a state of confusion. We are yet to understand what really happened. The hoodlums invaded our community and the homes of prominent leaders of our community, killed seven of them, including the president general,” the source said.

“It was like a warlike situation yesterday. They shot indiscriminately, killed their targets; seven of them before zooming off. The incident had been reported at the police station and their bodies removed.”

Micheal Abbatam, Imo police spokesman, also confirmed the incident to TheCable. He said details of the attack will be released soon.

Gunmen on rampage have killed a community leader in Ihube in Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State and three others.

Two police officers who ran into the scene were also allegedly shot dead.

But Imo Police spokesman, CSP Michael Abattam, said he was not aware of the incident which took place on Wednesday.

The community leader’s identity is still unknown as of the time of this report.

A source said the killing of the community leader, said to be a traditional title holder in the area, triggered other killings.

Although details of the incident were still sketchy, the titled chief was said to have been killed by gunmen at his home with his personal guard who attempted to save him.

It was gathered the two policemen reportedly killed ran into the gunmen.

Another was said to have escaped with a bullet wound.

A local meat vendor and another woman close to the scene of the incident were also hit by stray bullets.

The incident caused panic in the entire community as most of the residents, according to sources, have deserted their homes.

However, Abattam told the Nation he was not aware of the incident.

He promised to contact the Divisional Police Headquarters in the area and get back but was yet to do so at the time of filing the report.

Gunmen bomb Ohanaeze President’s home in Imo

The residence of the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Prof George Obiozor located in Awo- Omamma in Oru East Local Government Area of Imo State has been bombed by unknown gunmen.

It was gathered that the suspects used Improvised Explosives Devices, IED and petrol bombs to raze the building.

Eyewitnesses from the Awo-Omamma community claim the unknown gunmen drove into the compound about 6:15am, Saturday, shot indiscriminately for over 15 minutes before setting the building ablaze, DAILY POST reports.

Confirming the incident, Micheal Abattam, the Imo State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, said “officially there was no report of lives lost.”

Gunmen Attack, Raze Orsu LG Headquarters In Imo

Gunmen have attacked and razed the premises of the Orsu Local Government Area headquarters in Awo Idemili community, Imo State.

According to sources, the gunmen came in the early hours of Sunday in their numbers and set the secretariat ablaze.

One of the sources explained that several buildings within the premises including the executive chairman’s office, the administrative block, and some vehicles parked within the area were torched.

Meanwhile, the police spokesman in the state, Mike Abattam, said the Acting Commissioner of Police, Mamman Giwa, has launched an investigation into the matter. The commissioner, he said, has drafted the command’s tactical team to the area to prevent any further breakdown of law and order.

Sunday’s incident comes about two days after the home of the Imo State Commissioner for Labour, Employment, and Productivity, Ford Ozumba, was razed in the same local government.

Two policemen were killed when armed men in the early hours of Saturday set ablaze the Umuguma Divisional Police Headquarters in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State.

In their desperation to join the ranks of scores of their compatriots who have been making millions of dollars out of online-scams, young Nigerian based wannabe scammers known as ‘yahoo boys’ are resorting to the use of traditional charms and mystical powers to charm potential victims into their scams.

Yahoo Boys are young men —usually aged between 22-29 years—who specialise in various types of cybercrime. Many of them may be undergraduates or college dropouts whose distinct lifestyles of fast cars, wealth and ostentation is the envy of many of their age-mates. The Yahoo Boys are not limited by geography— the internet is their home— and their victims are as diverse as there are naive and people ready to fall for get-rich-quick scams.

Yahoo Boys as also adept at cyber-enabled financial fraud. A six month operation wire wire conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of the Treasury and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service resulted in 74 arrests in the United States and overseas, including 29 in Nigeria, and three in Canada, Mauritius and Poland.  The operation also resulted in the seizure of nearly $2.4 million, and the disruption and recovery of approximately $14 million in fraudulent wire transfers. Many of these scammers who were in Nigeria have since fled to other countries eg Ghana, Dubai ,South Africa, Gambia as the Nigerian Economic and Financial Crimes commission closed in on them.

Why Killings for rituals are on the increase in Nigeria

The spate of killings for ritual purposes is gradually assuming an alarming rate in Nigeria with little or no effort by concerned government agencies to checkmate the trend.

One would have expected such pseudoscience acts to be a thing of the past going by increase in religious activities and in civilization. But murdering people to appease the deities appears to be on the increase.

These dastardly acts are carried out in a 21st century, when other countries of the world are experimenting and advancing in technology.

It is also shocking to know that some acclaimed high and mighty indulge in ritual killings. For instance, some politicians and government officials have been accused by arrested suspects and herbalists who allege that they use human beings for rituals in order to sustain their affluence as well as remain in positions of power.

Investigations revealed that cases of ritual killings and disappearance of persons are usually high whenever elections are around the corner.

Just last week, this barbaric act assumed a cannibalistic dimension following the arrest of a suspected kidnapper alleged to have killed one of his victims and used his intestines to prepare pepper soup.

The suspect, Roland Peter,  according to the Rivers State Commissioner of Police , Zaki Ahmed ,  abducted his victim  from his house on August 2017, adding that the suspect was at the verge of eating pepper soup and yam porridge when the police swooped on him and some accomplices

These vampires hide under different covers to get their victims. For some, they kidnap their victims from various points , while others who pretend to be commercial bus drivers, pick unsuspecting commuters at bus-stop only to take them to their slaughter slabs to carry out what they know how to do best.

On August 17, 2017 , the lifeless body of the four-year-old girl was found  close to a shrine at 28 Ogbe Close in Iwaya area of Lagos, with her throat slit. In her case, the toddler who strayed from her siblings’ watch, on their way from the mosque, was suspected to have been used for sacrifice on the Ogun shrine which ironically is built in the same compound with her parents . Till date perpetrators of the dastardly act are yet to be fished out.

Suspected ritualist arrested

A week earlier, precisely August 20, another lifeless body of an eight-year-old girl, Chikamso Victory , was found in the apartment of one Ifeanyi Chukwu Dike (23) at Messiah street , Eliozu area of Port Harcourt . Helpless and defenseless Victory was not only abducted by Dike, she was raped before she was killed. As at the time her body was recovered, some parts had been removed. They included her vagina, eyes, tongue and breasts which the suspect kept in a polythene bag awaiting the appropriate time to take them to his contacts. He was however, arrested by members of a local vigilante group while going to dispose of the body.

Elsewhere in Oyo state, on March 30, 2017 , a suspected ritualist,  Tunde Jimoh, who was arrested by the Police, gave a chilling description of how he and other members of his gang abducted their victim, Akintoye Oyeyemi, took him into a deep forest and murdered him in cold blood. Thereafter, they took the body to a Muslim cleric to prepare concoction for money rituals for him. At the end of the day, the wrists, heart and legs were cut off. Luck ran out on the suspect while on his way to dump the body in the bush.

Not too long ago, reports had it that an evil forest used as ritualists’ den was uncovered in Enugu state with the recovery of fresh and decomposing human parts . The nation’s Federal Capital Territory is not speared from the rising trend of killing for rituals. Late last year, a dismembered body of an unidentified lady was recovered at the  Lower Usuma Dam junction, along Dutse-Bwari Road . One of her breasts was cut off, while the rest of the body was cut into two from the abdomen, an indication that the killing was for ritual.

Badoo ritual killing

In Lagos state, the commercial hub of the country, different methods are devised by ritualists. One of such was the surge in the killing of residents by members of a dreaded cult group identified as Badoo Boys in Ikorodu area of Lagos. So far, over 50 persons have had their lives snuffed out of them by the perpetrators who were initially thought to be invisible, until they were decimated by the Police , under the watch of the new Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, Mr Edgar Imohimi, while he was the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of operations.

Before the raid and subsequent arrest of over 200 suspected members of the cult group by the Police with the support of the Oodua peoples Congress, OPC local vigilante and the Neighborhood Watch Corps, Badoo Boys had been  unleashing an orgy of killings, during which they used heavy stones to crush the skulls of their victims.

Their modus operandi included storming victims’ residences while they are asleep. It is suspected that they usually hypnotize their victims, as none of them had ever been conscious of their presence. They would, thereafter, smash heads of their victims with a grinding stone and after which they use a handkerchief to clean the blood and brain before leaving the scene.

During interrogation, one of the suspects confirmed that each handkerchief stained with blood was sold for N500,000 . He further revealed that they were mere errand boys for rich politicians within and outside Lagos state.

But in their case, the blood and semen stained handkerchief were used to prepare spiritual defence for well to do Nigerians.

Mad people in disguise

The latest method devised is the feigning of madness by these criminal elements. Recently in Lagos, some persons who disguised as lunatics were discovered to be using tunnels as dens for their activities. Two instances of note were along Lagos-Abeokuta road and Ile Zik, along Agege Motor road.

The latest was an uncovered ritualits’ den Wednesday , at Challege bus-stop , Mushin, where some suspected members who posed as lunatics were found with sophisticated phones, four ATM cards and over 100 syringes with blood stains.

One of the suspects was lynched by a mob while two others were rescued by policemen from Area ‘D’ command, Mushin.

Not too long  Nigerians received with shock, news of a den in Soka village, Oluyole Local Government area of Oyo state, where about 20 corpses, majority of which were   earlier declared missing   by their relatives, were found while 18 victims were rescued. From all indications, it was obvious that the den had been existing for long before it was uncovered, following a heap of victims’ clothes.

One of the rescued victims was reported to have said he was kidnapped in Ogun while attending an interview. The most celebrated ritual killing appeared to be the notorious Otokoto saga in Owerri, Imo State where a businessman belonging to a cult was alleged to have used his apprentice for ritual. The boy’s corpse was later exhumed at the premises of Otokoto Hotel. It exposed many other bizarre acts in hotels.

Religious leaders also involved

One would have expected such primitive acts to be going down, going by the increasing religious groups in the country. Regrettably,  some religious leaders have been caught in the act. But investigations have shown that many evil men only use religion as a cover up. They are never true religious leaders. One of the ready cases that comes to mind was that of the arrest of a Pastor who allegedly killed a seven-year-old boy and buried his head where the church’s alter was mounted. This action was to ensure the influx of members into the church located at  Odokekere/ Odogunyan in Ikorodu area of Lagos state .

Elsewhere in Edo state and Ogun states, some pastors were also arrested over similar acts.

Few months ago, an unidentified woman who left her abode in Sango Otta area of Ogun in search of spiritual cleansing at the place of a Muslim cleric popularly called Alfa , in Badagry area of Lagos, ended up being victim of ritual killing.

The most prevailing news has been the alarming rise in cultism and ritualisms among young ones, especially students, in the past few months. Ritualism is emerging as a major social problem in Nigeria.

Rituals have been in existence since time immemorial. Since humans invented beliefs and religions, rituals have been a major part of existence. The practices were employed in an attempt to appease an unknown higher being for protection and provision. Over time, ritualism has evolved into something more dangerous than how our ancestors practiced it.

We hear or read of youths killing one another because they were considered ritually impure. As a people, we have always believed in supernatural beings and forces that can influence the events in our lives. Rituals were a means of seeking favor from these supernatural beings, ensuring our protection, guarding against evil spirits, and even influencing their decisions on issues that affect our destiny.

Money rituals have always been part of human civilization, but it is disturbing that in Nigeria, where unemployment is high, youths would engage in things that can harm them.

So many people believe the money rituals are caused by the nation’s state, No! There are no reasonable justifications because there are some rules of thumb that every sane person should apply in society.

Godswill Akpabio, former Akwa Ibom state governor, has traveled overseas apparently for medical treatment, following an accident he was recently involved in Abuja. It was reported Akpabio, now a senator, sustained chest injury and had first been treated at the National Hospital, in the federal capital of Nigeria. Reporting on Akpabio’s overseas travel, The Punch said the former was sighted at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Tuesday, accompanied by five others, while planning to board a private jet. Akpabio’s Mercedes Benz G Wagon was reported to have collided with another vehicle belonging to the United States Embassy.

Gov. Emmanuel sacks 2 commissioners linked with Akpabio

Ahead of the defection of Senator Godswill Akpabio from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress, Gov. Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom has sacked two commissioners loyal to Akpabio.

The commissioners were sacked with immediate effect for what was called “act of disloyalty”.

They are the Commissioners for Labour, Productivity and Manpower Development, Mr Ibanga Akpabio, and Culture and Tourism, Mr Victor Antai.

The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Charles Udoh, said the two commissioners had to be removed from the State Executive Council for disloyalty to the governor.

Ibanga, who is a younger brother to Sen. Godswill Akpabio was sacked alongside Antai for receiving Akpabio, a former governor of the state and Emmanuel’s predecessor, at the Ibom International Airport on Tuesday.

Akpabio flew into the state preparatory to his plan to defect from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Udoh said the commissioners had to be removed from the state executive council following their “reluctance to comply with good governance processes.’’

“With the development, they have been mandated to handover to the Permanent Secretary in their respective ministries before close of work on Wednesday August 8,’’ he said.

The commissioner stressed that the duo showed complete disloyalty to Emmanuel and therefore could not continue to remain in the state executive.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Akpabio on Tuesday tendered his resignation as the senate minority leader and will formally defect to All Progressives Congress today.

Akwa Ibom Governor, Udom Emmanuel, and his predecessor and godfather, Godswill Akpabio, are at war against each other.

The public, for several months, has been fed with the information that the two leaders were enjoying the best of relationship, until during the yuletide, when Mr. Akpabio, the Senate Minority Leader, publicly accused the governor of neglecting his area, the Akwa Ibom North-West Senatorial District.

The senator, at a get-together organized for the chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in his district, said it was better to inform the governor that “2018 is less than one year to the election, all is not well.”

Referring to the governor, apparently, he added, “Don’t allow anybody to deceive you that all is well.”

Thereafter, things went sour. A rejoinder from Governor Emmanuel’s media aide, Aniekeme Finbarr, who enumerated all the ‘good things’ the governor has done for Mr. Akpabio’s senatorial district, attracted a rebuke from the senator’s media aide, Anietie Ekong.

“Looking at it on its face value and for whatever it is worth, what Mr. Finbarr sought to do is to reply Senator Akpabio that contrary to what the Senator had said, indeed the concerns by the elders, youths, women, leadership and the entire people of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District is (sic) misplaced,” Mr. Ekong said in a statement he issued in a response to Mr. Finbarr.

Akpabio loses again as PDP wins rerun elections in Akwa Ibom

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has won the rerun elections for the senate, state and federal constituencies in Akwa Ibom State.

The elections held on Saturday in only one local government area – Essien Udim local – in the state. It was, however, characterised by violence and ballot-stealing.

Some election officials were held hostage in the area, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said.

For the Akwa Ibom North-West Senatorial District election, the PDP candidate, Chris Ekpenyong, scored 134,717 votes to beat the former senator, Godswill Akpabio, who had 83,820 votes, according to the result released Sunday morning by INEC.

Mr Akpabio lost his bid to return to the Senate for a second term in 2019 when INEC declared Mr Ekpenyong winner of the poll.

Ijaw communities urge Akpabio to account for NDDC’s N800b

Ijaw communities under the auspices of the Movement for the Survival of Izon Ethnic Nationality in Niger Delta (MOSIEND) have urged the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Sen. Godswill Akpabio, to account for the N800billion that accrued to the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), between 2020 and 2021.

MOSIEND, in a communiqué after its national executive meeting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, lamented that there was nothing on ground in the Niger Delta to show that such money was received by the NDDC.

The communiqué, signed by MOSIEND’s spokesman, Charles Omusuku, accused Akpabio of manipulating the Presidency to have his ways in the region and the NDDC.

“It is on record that NDDC has received well over N799billion between 2020 and 2021 and nothing tangible can be seen in the region in the name of development,” the document said.

The group said the Federal Government should take responsibility for the increasing oil bunkering in the region because it reneged on its promise to liberalise the award of modular refineries, to encourage local participation and youth employment.

MOSIEND said: “In February 2017 during the Niger Delta Avengers attack on oil and gas facilities in the region, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, then acting President, promised that the Federal Government had resolved to liberalise the award of modular refineries to curtail illegal bunkering activities.

“That promise made many of our people, who were financially buoyant, to venture into the business, to enjoy waivers, as the thinking was that most of the perpetrators would be granted amnesty and considered for allotment. Unfortunately, the government awarded the modular refineries to themselves and their cronies.”

The group challenged the Federal Government to make public the list of those it awarded modular refineries since 2017.

It urged President Muhammadu Buhari to review the process of awarding the Nigerian National Petroleum Organisation (NNPC) surveillance security contracts and modular refineries, to restore hope in youths in the region.

MOSIEND hailed the NNPC for the rehabilitation of refineries, saying it would facilitate the full deregulation of the downstream sector.

Companies executing projects for the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) have threatened to protest against the NDDC’s interim administrator, Effiong Akwa and the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio, over the commission’s alleged non-payment of outstanding debts to its contractors.

The Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs supervises the operations of NDDC.

The companies, under the aegis of the Niger Delta Indigenous Contractors Association said, Thursday, its members were ready for a nationwide protest over non-payment of their debts by the NDDC.

The contractors issued a five-day ultimatum to Mr Akwa and Mr Akpabio over the issue.

The spokesperson of the association, Dressman Darlinton, told a news conference in Abuja that if the duo failed to accede to their demands, a nationwide protest would begin next week.

“The association will protest in the Niger Delta region and the FCT should the interim administrator of the NDDC fail to meet our demand to pay contractors by Tuesday, February 15,” he said.

Mr Darlinton called on President Muhammadu Buhari to set up a substantive board for the commission as soon as possible to prevent the mismanagement of the commission.

“The association wants the president to consider the request of the Olu of Warri and other prominent Niger Delta stakeholders to, as matter of urgency, constitute and inaugurate a substantive board of the NDDC,” he said.

The probe into alleged financial impropriety in the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) advanced yesterday, throwing up new twists.

It started with the House of Representatives issuing the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio, 48-hour ultimatum to publish names of lawmakers he accused of taking up contracts at the NDDC.

The Speaker of the House, Mr. Femi Gbajabimila, who gave the ultimatum to the minister at plenary on Tuesday, asked Akpabio to publish names of companies, contract amounts, location of projects and payment details.

Gbajabiamila warned that failure to publish details of the alleged contracts would attract the full weight of the law.

The Speaker’s ruling followed a point of order raised by the Minority Leader, Ndudi Elumelu (PDP-Delta).

The House was deliberating on the alleged misappropriation of funds amounting to N40 billion in the NDDC.

Akpabio had, while appearing before the House committee investigating suspected financial impropriety at the NDDC on Monday, claimed that 60 per cent of contracts in the commission were awarded to lawmakers.

Gbajabiamila alleged that Akpabio was just playing one of the oldest games in the book by throwing a baseless accusation to cause distractions.

“This is my fifth time in the House and I have never benefited from any contract and it is so for many of us here,” he stated.

He recalled that ahead of the probe, the Chairman of the Committee on NDDC, Olubumi Tunji-Ojo (APC-Ondo), was accused of having contracts without documents to back it up, and that Tunji-Ojo stepped aside as a result of the allegation.

He noted that Akpabio denied knowledge of any of contract Tunji-Ojo was accused of, stressing that such a situation would not be allowed to stand in the parliament.

A source in NDDC, who spoke on condition of anonymity, however, insisted that some lawmakers were contractors to the Commission.

He told The Guardian that companies linked to some National Assembly members were among the 212 contractors whose payments were recently published in national dailies.

He alleged that when the NDDC 2019 budget was passed, the lawmakers refused to release the budget to the Commission until they were paid for jobs allegedly done. According to him, it was after payment was made for 20 of the jobs between 17th and 19th of March, 2020 that the lawmakers released the budget copy to the Commission

“They wanted to be paid N3.7 billion as 60 per cent of the work done for a N6.4 billion (skill acquisition in Niger Delta). The problem is that none of the work was done. An employee of the Commission had raised a memo that the jobs were not executed and should not be paid for,” he said.

Two policemen were killed when armed men in the early hours of Saturday set ablaze the Umuguma Divisional Police Headquarters in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State.

The attack came a few hours after the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of zone 9, Umuahia, Isaac Akinmoyede, left the state after a one-day working visit.

It also happened a few days after two warders who were part of a Joint Security Task Force were killed when gunmen attacked their patrol vehicle in Okigwe.

It was gathered that the gunmen had on arrival blocked the roads leading in and out of the station division, including the one close to the local government headquarters.

They thereafter launched the attack on the station by throwing Improvised electronic devices into the buildings.

It was further gathered that after setting the station on fire, they waited to attack officers who ran out for safety.

An eyewitness said the two policemen, unfortunately, ran into the rain of bullets.

Their names were given simply as Ifeanyi and Iyke.

They were said to be undergraduates of the Imo State University, Owerri.

The spokesperson for the police in the state, Micheal Abattam, was not available for comments.

Investors call for arrest of Marksman Ijomah, Amanda Chisom as Chinmark investment scheme crashes

As over 10,000 investors in the Chinmark Group stand losing Billions in investment, some of the investors have called for the arrest of Marksman Ijomah, Amanda Chisom and other principal officers of the doomed investment firm.

The calls for their arrest followed the inability of the firm to pay a return on investment popularly called ROP to their multitude of investors since December 2021.

While Ijomah is the founder of the company, Amanda Chisom is the brand ambassador who lured thousands of investors into the scheme.

Financial experts say investors stand to lose more than N10 billion in the scheme, describing it as a ponzi.

Ijomah is also said to have restructured ownership of physical assets belonging to the firm, removing his name and that of his wife as directors.

For instance, a CAC search on Chinmark’s group companies showed that Mr Marksman Ijiomah had changed the name of the hotel at Enugu from Chinmark Suites to Bridge Suites.

He removed his name and his wife’s names as the Directors of the hotel and used different sets of people.

A lawyer, Collins Ogonnaya Arikor said that due to the restructuring, investors can’t attach the hotel to recover their investment if they don’t get paid since the existing fact presupposes that Marksman Ijiomah doesn’t own the hotel.

THIRD YORUBA MONARCH DIES IN ONE WEEK

The deceased monarch is the Olupo of Olupona, Oba Emmanuel Onaolapo Oyebanji.

Athird monarch from Yoruba land has joined his ancestors on Tuesday.

The deceased monarch is the Olupo of Olupona, Oba Emmanuel Onaolapo Oyebanji.

Olupona is the headquarters of Ayedire South Local Development Area of Osun State.

The news comes barely 24 hours after it was reported that the father of Senator Iyiola Omisore, a former deputy governor of Osun State and two-time lawmaker representing Osun East Senatorial District, Oba David Omisore, the Olu of Olode, passed on.

Oba Omisore turned 90 in July 2021.

Recall that on Sunday, Oba Saliu Adetunji, the Olubadan of Ibadan, died at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Oyo State.

The monarch, who was the 41st king of the ancient city, has been buried according to Islamic rites.

While on the other hand, gospel minister Prince Chinedu Nwadike is crying out for help over his ailing health. Please let's pray for God to show him mercy and spare his life.

As over 10,000 investors in the Chinmark Group stand losing Billions in investment, some of the investors have called for the arrest of Marksman Ijomah, Amanda Chisom and other principal officers of the doomed investment firm.

2023 PRESIDENCY
...{14} 2023 Presidency: The Lord God of hosts, is watching if Nigeria had learnt her lessons enough to humbly return unto God, in order to accept and receive our David, who'll take away the Goliath and armies of anarchy, threats and frustrations, or the nation should be allowed to be bent the more further even down to that breaking and unbearably painful point were we'll be able to realise and say, 'have mercy oh Lord and return unto us as a nation; show us your mercies and your perfect will, we shall follow', because I see an old greedy man with a wicked ancient spirit, buying every doorway to power with a dry smile and many bogus and boastful Messiaic promises but end up caring for only his immediate family. I saw many viable, intelligent, reliable and productive skillful hands working in their rightful strategic positions, been prematuredly retired or removed and replaced with the old man's cronies and family members. He promised stipends, but only a very countable few received for only a couple of months while he advised the rest Nigerians to go to farms and labour hard to cater for themselves, saying, 'that was how he grew up'. He promised power supply to Nigeria but later ordered for many generating sets with new production name and encouraged Nigerians to buy them from his company if they need light because in his usual language, 'there's no money to run the government or even carryout projects. When students protested for incessant strikes due to lecturers' and other academicians long unpaid salaries and regular hike of fees, the papa built a private university and encouraged his appointees and cronies to simply move their beloved children and wards to his schools. The old man didn't just stop at strategically preparing every ground and sponsored necessary legislations for his son or nephew to takeover power incase he dies on the sit of power; neither did he stop at strategically changing names, splitting some and merging others, selling-off and rebuying by proxy of both moribund and thriving government owned companies like refineries, n.n.p.c, n.p.a. and their subsidiaries. Other government establishments like airports, their subsidiaries and important departments and parastatals were not spared as he sold them off to himself, family members and few super powerful cronies under the guise that, 'economic system I inherited was too terrible and there's no money to run the government coupled with frightening amount of indebtedness and insecurity, so I've got no choice than to sell-off, privatise and mortgage those establishments'. For c.b.n - he used his power and influence as president to control the c.b.n to the point, the currencies' minting and control area was secretly separated and contracted out to establishments of his interest because, according to him, 'for economic and security reasons' but unfortunately, just to have soul control or ownership of it to himself and family members.
Also under his government, there's anarchy and fears hanging over every part of the atmosphere, as the military and security forces became so brutal and bitterly dealing with Nigerians, not only for the frustration, all-time-highest level of inflation, hardship and resultant harsh economic realities but also for bringing to power such a wicked old man, as the man keep sarcastically boasting that, 'it was Nigerians who (blindly) loved, trusted and choose him to rule over them'. But I also saw a middle aged man who came in quietly and didn't do much but calmed all the economic nerves down, created agro-economic and allied business friendly environment and economy system that made many financial facilities available and accessible through which, small and medium businesses and enterprises grow rapidly on their own while big businesses were solidified and sustained.. He ended up putting quiet and silent smiles on the faces of Nigerians but quitted after one term saying: 'I was once childish and naive, but now I've learnt my lessons; the will of God remains ultimate and can't be substituted'. I saw insecurity case file went to the archives and hanging cloudscapes of anarchy cleared off to the desert corners while a huge roaming masquerade called darkness was finally arrested, tied up, chained and imprisoned after a very long chase...and Nigerians are happy after again, as a new nation with unending light and brightness is born...
Who leads Nigeria from 2023, between this two leaders with two different missions as listed above, shall determine the next experience awaiting Nigeria as a nation, but the next good experiences and expectations that would ever happen to Nigeria would be determined by one Nigerian and not primarily by votes but firstly by sacrifice.
