LIFE AND TIME (Part 207)

LIFE: Living Into Future Enterprise.

TIME: Thinking Into Momentary Enterprise.

The closer you get to God, the clearer you see the need to love and help even those who hurt you.

Genuine love is magnetic.

It was for the love Jesus Christ hath for God that strengthened him enough to look at his crucifiers and still cried out to God for mercy on their behalf.

Luke 23:33-34
[33] And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.
[34] Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

The love for God in anyone who develops it, operates as a magnetic field that recognizes no pole.

In physics, we were made to understand that magnets operate on magnetic poles called north and south poles; practically, similar poles repel each other, but the magnetic field that operates in the life of anyone who truly loves God attracts both the hardened sinner and the simple loving hearted.

Luke 23:42-43
[42] And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
[43] And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

The love Christ displayed in verse 34 was what captured the heart of one of the thief’s crucified alongside Jesus Christ.

Beloveth child of God, is your love for God strong enough to magnet souls to God’s kingdom?

LIFE: Living Into Future Enterprise.

TIME: Thinking Into Momentary Enterprise.

Your love for yourself grows as you develop your love for God; it is the overflow of your love for God that you express to men.

Anybody that have no love for God cannot genuinely love another person.
Love is not fluency, but practical.

The Lord Jesus Christ demonstrated the love for God when He remarked in Matthew 26:42;
He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

It came to that point where Jesus’ love as man to men was breaking, but only His love for God overflew to men by allowing God’s will to be done.

If you don’t deliberately develop your love for God, even as married couple, a time will come when your human love will begin to wax cold towards your spouse.

The closer you get to God, the clearer you see the need to love and help even those who hurt you.

Genuine love is magnetic.

If God is willing to forgive you, why don’t you appreciate God by forgiving yourself?

2 Chronicles 7:14-15
[14] If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
[15] Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.

Forgiving yourself over an offense is paramount after realization if you must move forward in life.

King Solomon, a man well favoured by God understood the need for self forgiveness that was why he said in Proverbs 24:16;
For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

Those who love themselves easily forgive themselves and repent of their realized evil.
Such persons easily forgive others from their heart as well.

Your love for yourself grows as you develop your love for God; it is the overflow of your love for God that you express to men.

Anybody that have no love for God cannot genuinely love another person.

God made provision for our forgiveness even before the creation of the world as a proof of His love for mankind.
But, Samson couldn’t forgive himself hence he opted for suicide.

Beloveth child of God, have you enmeshed like Samson and don’t know what exactly the future holds for you again?

Are you in such a situation that you are also contemplating suicide or giving up on yourself?

Beloveth of the Lord, the Comforter said I should tell you that His love still covers multitude of sins.
Samson took his own life because of unforgiveness.

Hmm; Samson, a unique bread that never saw the oven before it expired.

I don’t know what you are passing through, but the Holy Spirit said I should speak to you according to; 2 Chronicles 7:14-15

After receiving power to become the sons of God, sustaining your right of sonship lies in your ability to love.

Samson received power to become one of the sons of God when he believed on the Word of God spoken concerning him (prophecy).
But because he lacked love, he couldn’t sustain his right of sonship to God.

Mark 12:30-31
[30] And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
[31] And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
John 14:15
If ye love me, keep my commandments.

If Samson had loved God, he would had kept to the instructions or commandments given to him.

Looking closely into the life of Samson, you will discover that he did not love his people Israel which were his primary constituents by destiny, to defend and to deliver from the hands of the Philistines, else he would had obeyed God for their sake.

Thirdly, you cannot talk of love without forgiveness in the picture.
John 3:16

Romans 12:20-21
[20] Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
[21] Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Considering things in a natural standpoint, one would wonder the rational behind doing good to someone who takes pleasure in your hurt.

But judging from God’s own point of view, He is not a man that he should speak fable (falsehood), nor is he the son of man that he should repent of his Word.

There is a criteria that qualifies any one to be called sons of God; and there is another criteria that proves you to be a son before our God and sustains your right of son-ship in God.

John 1:12
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Romans 8:14
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Matthew 5:44-45

Love makes you unpredictable yet reliable and trust worthy.
When you live a life of love, people will naturally find peace around you.

Brethren, love is the embodiment of God abode in man.

As the rain comes down and select not the roof upon which it falls, that is how love is not selective.

Matthew 5:44-45
[44] But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
[45] That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Favouritism is not an attribute of love because it causes strife and dissimulation.

As we’ve understand love to be a ceaseless sower, it is worthy of note that you must not sow selectively.

Sowing into the life of anyone who sees you as an enemy draws you closer to the heart of God and qualifies you for higher responsibilities.

Your gift to such person’s becomes torment to them.
Romans 12:20-21

The Word of God did not say receive from others what you want them to do unto you; rather it says do unto others what you want them to do unto you.

There is no sown and nourished seed that usually returns back the same way it ways sown.

The statement “LOVE IS PATIENT” is a direct expression of the distance between seed time and harvest time.
When a seed is sown, it first of all goes into the soil, dies and then spring up with new life, grow and bear multiple fruits.

When you genuinely share in love, you don’t see it return immediately because of the seed and harvest process it has to pass through; besides, it most times don’t come from the people you gave to because the seed itself does not produce fruits but the branches.

Love is the foundation of existence and sustainable lifestyle.

The physical manifestation of the above example is the reason many prominent men and women fall from prominence to abject poverty and unbelievable penury, while some fall straight to the grave.

1 Corinthians 13:2
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

Beloveth child of God, what is the fate of any building without foundation?
Can a man put his treasures on the sea shore without defense and still have it intact after the boasting of the waves?

The love of Christ passeth knowledge, but the sex and pleasures of the world darkeneth knowledge and dampeneth understanding.

Psalms 36:7-9
[7] How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
[8] They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
[9] For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

The Psalmist acknowledged that the lovingkindness of God is excellent, no contaminant in it.

And to as many that sincerely connects to the love of God shall be abundantly satisfied.
John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Being abundantly satisfied with the fatness of God’s house is to enjoy the best of God.

If you examine this scripture carefully, you will understand that the lack and want being experienced by the great majority today is not unconnected to the lack of love.

Let us examine ourselves individually, as family’s, churches, ministry’s and nations and we may understand why the LORD spoke of the darkness (confusion) that shall come upon men from this year in part 133 of this series.

“Darkness (confusion) shall cover the earth and gross darkness (deep confusion) upon the people; but to My faithful servants shall I the LORD arise upon and My glory shall be seen on them.

For the deep calleth unto deep, but I the LORD maketh ways when there seems to be no way; I calleth forth those things that be not as though they were; I use the foolish things of this world to confound the wisdom of the wise.

I the LORD AM HE that roars from heaven and thunders in the skies; the hour cometh and now is; when I shall overturn, overturn and overturn it again, until they are no more and I will give it him whose right it is.”

Could love be the only way to escape the calamities ahead?

The best way to permanently quench your thirst of love is to connect yourself to the fountain of love.

As an individual, family and the world over, the day we return to Christ genuinely with a strong decision to remain in Him is the day trial and error in and for love will come to an end.

John 3:16;
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

When you genuinely surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ, be ready to also share the love of Christ that passeth knowledge by loving others.

Beloveth, are you not seeing that the continuous search for love in unholy places has led to the dismembering and mutilation of bodies of unsuspecting souls by those who profess to love them?

Romans 12:9-11
[9] Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
[10] Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
[11] Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

As a dry well can not give out water, that is how anything that does not have Christ can not produce love.

Every one and every thing is as good or as bad as what they contains.
For to whom you give yourself to, you are slave to.

1 John 5:11-12
[11] And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
[12] He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

Please permit me to rephrase verse 12 above;
He that hath the Son (Jesus Christ) hath love; and he that hath not the Son of God (Jesus Christ) hath not love.

The search for love with physical eyes, emotions and instinct is like using grammatical expression to solve a mathematical equation.

Love is not in parties.
Love is not in club houses.
Love is not hidden under boxers and pants.
Love is not in his/her money.
Love is not in her beauty or his handsome looks.
Love is not romance.
Love is in Jesus Christ.

A song writer wrote in part;
In Christ alone, my hope is found
He is my light, my strength, my song
This Cornerstone, this solid ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm
What heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease
My Comforter, my All in All
Here in the love of Christ I stand
In Christ alone, who took on flesh
Fullness of God in helpless babe
This gift of love and righteousness
Scorned by the ones He came to save
'Til on that cross as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied
For every sin on Him was laid
Here in the death of Christ I live, I live.

Romans 12:10-12
[10] Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
[11] Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
[12] Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

Because of the lack of love, unforgiveness is now the order of the day; no more hope, patient and room to encourage one another; rather condemnation and destructive criticism.

The mechanism of love considers the interest of others first.

For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus Christ); Jesus Christ so love the world that He laid down His life for the world.

But today, a brother so love this sister that he needs her virginity; need to know her on bed.
A sister so love this brother that she need an Iphone from him; she need house rent.

Presently, it has or gradually coming to a point where if someone says I love you, the first thing that will come to mind is “I Sex You. ”

Love is not sex; it is not even infatuation.
Love is God; love is Jesus Christ.

Until you connect to the source of a thing, you can’t get that thing.

But on the contrary, Love prefers others more than itself, love seeks the peace, joy and wellbeing of others before itself.
