zicoraads: The point is not whether he had those ailments and was still made the CSO to Jonathan. The point is, why deny him access to his family? Why detain him over allegations that can best be described as phantom? Soon, they will enter their trucks and head to his house, snap some pictures and tag it incriminating evidence. The DSS under Mr. Daura has sunk to an all time low. He was brought in to carry out reforms and re position the DSS for its primary responsibility of gathering and acting on intelligence that threaten the Nigerian state. Instead, we have seen a systematic and gradual witch hunting exercise. I am waiting for him to make the 'bold' move of going after Jonathan. Since, the agency has taken over the job of the Police and the EFCC. It's a shame! You nailed it. The problem now is my people don't reason anymore. It either you r WAILING WAILER or u r for the Present Dictocracy. We lost our sense of normal reason to fragile issue like dis. Dis is Democracy for God sake.. Follow due process and nail anybody found wanting . Simple instead of all dis Wizard-hunting. |

INTROVERT: GMB why are you not carrying your umbrella Ella Ella eh eh eh.
I am beginning to receive all sorts of mentions about buhari carrying his umbrella. I think all those who have sent and intend to send messages to me have a short memory of a thread opened on NAIRALAND where former president GEJ and the former service chiefs had their umbrella carried for them by their support staff on an official trip out of the country.. The thread went further to show Obama, and other world leaders carrying their own umbrellas. it was an ORGY of a thread where the attacks against the then president and service chiefs reached the highest crescendo.
Such level of hypocrisy displayed by members of NL id totally regurgitating and sickening. |

3 rounds, only 150 pounds for the winner.
Woke up concussed and realised that I was risking my life for nothing.
About the fight, Manny is old and a politician and a basketballer.
Floyd can smell victory cos like like Anthony Joshua, he picks fights he can never lose.
Pac lost to Marquez and then got beat by Tim Bradley. Granted Pac came back strong in the rubber, but it already obvious that we're looking at a great in decline
Plus Kennny Bayless is the ref...That's like having two floyds in the ring. Looooooooooooolz... |

dhardline: Fashola i really like you but the way you are going is really becoming embarassing.please ask yourself this few questions 1. What were the almajiri's doing before the schools were built? 2. What has the northern elite done over the years concerning the almajiri's? 3. Would it have been better if the schools were not built atall and this children be allowed to continue being used as a tool for violence? 4. Has the saying 'no knowledge gained is waste' all of a sudden become null and void because you want to oppose as an opposition that you are? You sir should know that knowledge frees the mind from mental slavery and we all know that some subjects has been added to their curricculum such as integrated science, maths etc which if this was done about two decades ago there would be a high probability that this issue of boko haram will not exists. Please sir always try to compare from various angles before you speak.you are not perfect,Gej is not perfect, buhari is not perfect but i'll still vote GEJ cause he made a move to give those children a better life. We still have intelligent Nigerians. Thumb up! |

emmanuel90: Wonders shall neva end. What happened early Yesterday morning 12-03-2015 at about 5:45am took everyone by surprise along Iyana Ejigbo Rd.
A bus going down to Oshodi was stopped by a Police officer he claimed the driver passed One way and after the driver and the bus conductor pleaded(The other side of the road was actually very bad. After all it's Iyana Ejigbo, and after we were stopped, other buses passed that same one-way freely), he demanded money from the driver ( I was sitting at the back, window side).
According to reports from the eye witness, the driver gave him a sum of 100 naira and the policeman rejected saying that he wants 200 naira.
This later led to an argument between the two, and before you could say 'Jack' he jacked his gun and sprayed the bus.
How awful our police can be.
Four passengers were Injured due to the stray bullet (Including Me). We were taken to The Closest Hospital nearby to receive treatment. The police officer is now in Hiding and his colleagues have refused to bring him out since the Victims said they recognised him.
What is Nigeria turning into ?
Interestingly,TODAY is my BIRTHDAY. It is what has Lagos turned into? The only city where agbero collect money for for policemen. Plied that road too. Wish em quick recovery. |

emmabowin: I am fully convinced that the ekiti election wasn't rigged. They may be an ulterior motive of the military to rig the election but it didn't came to bear. You can ask INEC to bring the ballot papers for them to be counted again or you can even conduct the election ten more times and fayose would still have won. Now answer this question, if indeed the PDP had rigged the ekiti election, how come they were unable to repeat the same feat in osun in which the Apc won. FYI, it is very difficult to rig election in Nigeria nowadays, thanks to president Jonathan for his electoral reforms and for repositioning INEC |

Amaechi wanting to form a parallel govt, ask him if you find any of his kids in the field when the war begins, Buhari only brought his daughter to decieve his gullible followers, they go back to their base before election, and children of the poor like banicansta, omenka, berem and co who are either jobless or underpaid are left to shout Sai buhari on cyber space.

roqchiq: I just had to add my 2kobo biko...
Everybody is shouting CHANGE CHANGE, please what kind of change are you proposing, there is bad change and good change. Nigerians should be really careful, because while they are offering you change nobody is making a pristine interpretation of what kind of change they are offering.
secondly, to my civilian knowledge, military is military everywhere, and i am yet to see any military that has the right to protest talk less of mutiny, if this is the kind of change they are offering, then one day they will grant the military the right to plan a coup.
thirdly, i want a good change for my country, i don't want tribal sentiments or religious manipulations, any group or tribe that believes its their god given right to rule the country, who can't bear to see another tribe become president, and thus creates mayhem and chaos, should just pack and go, either Nigeria belongs to all of us, or you carry your own corner, give it a different name and rule as you like.
I don't vote for skewed/undefined change, I don't vote for continuity, I vote for a better Nigeria. |

McLuhan: Even though I would readily concede that President Jonathan is not so popular in the north and some parts of the south, I am not convinced that he can be defeated in 2015. In the south-south and south-east he is almost certain to win, except for Rivers State where I expect Amaechi to put up a fight. Yet even in Rivers I forsee Jonathan winning by a modest margin. In the south-west, he will carry some, if not a majority, of the states. The middle belt might reasonably be expected to go Jonathan's way; so also some states in the north-west. As for the north-east, he should abandon all hope there because the opposition, both political and military, is just too great. U reason well jawe. |
