We knew u are paid by @pdp to do this, no doubt. But sentiment apart Even Lagos Ibadan express road DT gej came to flag off in 2014 didn't commence till he leave office. What happent to d money budgeted? Ilorin -jebba was said to have completed in d sureP paper, but nothing was done on d road. Until SaiBaba came. He did it under 1yr. @pdp are know for white elephant projects since the time immemorial. Like Mabila dam, second Niger bridge, east-west road, etc. Lagos - Ibadan rail line may be one of d way @gej deceive West to get vote and pocketed d cash thereafter. because why did he refused to start it for his ruling of abt 6yrs ..... See @Mbuhari may not be perfect, but, Better by far than @atiku AutoReportNG: Just as the popular saying goes, "The Internet never forgets". At a time when we are a cross-road and when we are in between truth and fallacy, it is expedient we dig out some truth and we separate the wheat from the chaff.
The Lagos-Ibadan Railway project has been a subject among the APC and PDP loyalists. While PDP insists that the project was started, designed and awarded by the PDP government, APC seems to have another side of the story. APC insists that the project was started, executed and designed by the Buhari-led administration and this has been a tussle of discussion in the social media and in the dailies as well.
AutoReportNG has been following the Lagos-Ibadan Railway since its inception and now it has reached its 70% conclusion stage, we can say, we are at liberty to cross-check and have a say on this interesting topic.
To those in the political scene, they will remember that the minister of transportation, Mr. Rotimi Ameachi has been working tirelessly virtually on a regular basis, he will come to inspect the railway and ask the contractors how they are faring and the challenges they encounter. The APC has guided this project as its baby and so they won't want any stain to rubbish it.
A close check into this shows that the project was awarded 28th August 2012 during the former President Jonathan led administration.
We will quote some dailies that reports about this signing for a clear view.

The Federal Government yesterday disclosed that it had signed a $1.49 billion contract with China for the construction of the Lagos-Ibadan Standard Gauge Rail Double Track.

Nigeria Signs U.S.$1.49 Billion Railway Deal With China
The Federal Government yesterday said it had signed a $1.49 billion contract with China Civil Engineering Construction Company (CCECC) to build a railway between Lagos and Ibadan.
The contract has a completion period of 36 months

From all these articles, it can be said that the government of Pres. Jonathan initiated and signed the Lagos-Ibadan Railway Project which was meant to last for 3 years. According to the contract, the project is meant to start in 2012 and end in 2015 but due to how the government works, the APC led government inherited it and started work.
While credit must be given to both PDP and APC for this project: PDP for having the mind to think of connecting 3 states together using railway and thereby making the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway free of traffic and signing the contract with CCECC and APC led government for making sure they finish up what the PDP government started.
We hope this analysis will end the argument of whether the Lagos-Ibadan Rail Project was either APC or PDP. No matter which party started it, Nigeria comes first.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
These are some of the constructions across the 3 states

Atiku knw how to manipulate his way. Rented crowd all over the place. Majorly women. Feb 16th is the answer to all these crazy. Emelcee: ATIKU ABUBAKAR FLAGS- OFF PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN
Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential Standard bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party will tomorrow Monday 28th January 2019 storm the city of Uyo to flag -off his campaign rally.
This is the first time a presidential candidate has appealed to the psyche and collective interest of Nigerians. I'm persuaded that Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the PDP has the best blueprints that would make good things happen in Nigeria.
Restructuring, Youths development and Job creation are some of salient issues that characterize Atiku's blueprint for Nigeria.
Governor Udom Emmanuel may have seen tomorrow when he enunciated his Completion Agenda of Security, Small & Medium Enterprises, Aviation, Infrastructure, Industrialization, Human Capacity Development, Rural & Riverine Development and Agriculture.
These agenda are in consonance with the blueprints of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the The manifesto of the Pdp. These agenda are capable of getting Nigeria working again. Already, the 'good old days of industrialization had begun in Akwa Ibom State.
Atiku Abubakar’s visit to Akwa Ibom has some emotional trappings. The former Vice President strengthened the advocacy for Resource Control spearheaded by Obong Victor Attah, who was then the Governor of Akwa Ibom State. Little wonder Obong Attah named a major road in honor of the great democrat.
Similarly, Peter Obi, Alhaji Abubakar’s running mate has a robust affinity with Akwa Ibom through marriage. Obi’s marriage to to Margaret Brownson Usen, a native of Onna in Akwa Ibom, underpins Obi as a detribalized Nigerian who would support Alhaji Abubakar’s ‘Restructuring’ agenda.
Nigerians have every cause to listen to the voice of reason by looking beyond party affiliations- voting for a competent hands such as of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar - to pilot the onerous task of nation rebuilding and Udom Emmanuel to sustain superior performance in Akwa Ibom State.
With Atiku as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Udom as Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria and Akwa Ibom will experience unprecedented prosperity, growth and development.
As the former Vice President of Nigeria and Presidential Flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party visits Akwa Ibom to flag-off his campaign rally in Uyo , it an opportunity for the good people of Akwa Ibom to join the PDP and Get Nigeria Working Again! |

Certainly and in reality to sanitized our country for corruption many heads must roll. That's what we youths of this nation must understand. Onoghe is wrong in all ramification of law no doubts about that. sgd: “The Embassy of the United States is deeply concerned by the impact of the executive branch’s decision to suspend and replace the Chief Justice and head of the judicial branch without the support of the legislative branch on the eve of national and state elections.
We note widespread Nigerian criticism that this decision is unconstitutional and that it undermines the independence of the judicial branch. That undercuts the stated determination of government, candidates, and political party leaders to ensure that the elections proceed in a way that is free, fair, transparent, and peaceful – leading to a credible result.
We urge that the issues raised by this decision be resolved swiftly and peacefully in accordance with due process, full respect for the rule of law, and the spirit of the Constitution of Nigeria. Such action is needed urgently now to ensure that this decision does not cast a pall over the electoral process.”

Wow, i just ordered for this phone a week ago frm amazon. I dont even knw they have plan to come to africa. Kudos more jobs to be created. uote author=NaijaTechGuy post=74991622]A couple of months ago Xiaomi Global Spokesman Donovan Sung made a post about their new store that launched in Spain and also asked for suggestions on where they should launch their next store and here’s what I said. https://i1.wp.com/www.naijatechguy.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Uxiaomi.png This means the expansion of Xiaomi had been on the cards for a while. If you have been following up Xiaomi for a while, you would know that they tend to compete on the foreign market rather than their home country China due to the congestion. Now, the company is looking to take things to the next level and come to Africa. On Sunday, Xiaomi announced the establishment of their African Regional Department and Wang Lingming (Xiaomi’s VP) was appointed as the manager of the department. https://i0.wp.com/www.naijatechguy.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Xiaomi-Logo.jpgAt the moment, in Africa we have over 1.2 billion people but the smartphone usage isn’t really too high and many people still use feature phones and because of this some phone brands don’t really do well in Africa. At the moment Transsision Holdings rules the African smartphone market with its three brands – itel, TECNO, and Infinix ranking at the very top in Africa in terms of market share. In 2019, the Africa will become one of Xiaomi’s main pioneers in their international business, and their biggest rival here is Transsision Holdings. What I Think About Xiaomi Coming To Africa https://i0.wp.com/www.naijatechguy.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/redmi-logo.jpgXiaomi has everything it takes to succeed in Africa especially if it starts off with its recently established Redmi Brand. Redmi already have one of the core features that is missing in all the Transission brands – high quality specs at a low price. You can see how successful the Redmi Note 7 has been so far and we can guess how much the price would have been if it was a Transission product. Transsision basically takes advantage of the mid-range and low-end smartphone market which is a strong competitive ground for Xiaomi. I believe this would also boost competition among the two brands. Mouhrino is a clever guy always get out bogus pay for sacking. Money some many working managers cannot get in 5yrs. He can distrust club progress or under perform so as to get sack and thereby get his bogus payout. Mourhino lolz!!! reportminds: Earlier today, Manchester United announced that the manager Jose Mourinho has been released from his duty as the gaffer of the Red Devils.
The Daily Record initially reported that United were to face a compensation package of roughly £18 million if they dismissed Mourinho before the end of the season.
Jose Mourinho Man United Young Boys
That fee has the potential to rise exponentially, however, now that he has been axed before the end of January.
In doing so, United will now have to pay him a Champions League "top up" having sacked him while the club are still in the European competition, or still in contention to finish in the top four (no matter how unlikely the latter scenario is).
United will now pay the Portuguese manager a fee in the region of £22.5m, according to the Daily Mail, to cut short a contract that was poised to run until 2020.
Though Mourinho was on a basic salary of £18m – which is what Man United are liable to pay in order to dismiss him – the contract included a 25 per cent bonus if the club were still in the running for the two main competitions upon being sacked.

-1).Why is did Buhari suddenly remembers this now after more than three years on the saddle? -2).Why didn't he report this alleged criminal diversion of state funds for personal use to the relevant govt.agency so that he can be summoned/ arrested, prosecuted, convicted & punished accordingly since Kwankwaso is no longer under immunity but even contested & won a senatoral seat under the APC then? -3).If the president have no answer to the afore questions, can Kwankwaso now sue Buhari for libel and defamation of character?
Buhari have proven himself time and over again to be an intolerant, divisive, hypocritical & vindictive character never fit to preside over a multi-complex country like Nigeria.

I wonder too for #88,000 palm oil. Whether he want to fry d whole cassava tuber ni o. eminikansoso:
OP You are a confirmed Internet farmer. You know nothing about farming just look at your analysis, for example #88,000 for palm oil for garri processing. Now Let me educate you on cassava farming business. Let assume you want to farm on an hectare of land which is 100m by 100m equal to 10,000m square. Land clearing during the january /February period will cost you 15000 to 25000 depend on the locations. Next stage is Tilling and Ridges by tractor or manual, but tractor will be much better and will cost you around 20,000 to 30,000 depend on your locations. Other stages include herbicide spraying and planting of cassava, you will need like 4 litres of herbicides and 50 bundles of cassava stems for 1 hectare of cassava farm which will cause you around 75,000 for proper planting of 1 meter spacing. It take cause 9 to 12 months to reach maturity stage and it depends on the species. Harvesting is done by hand and like me I sell by ton no further processing because of time and stress involve. For an hectare of cassava farm highest I have uproot is about 63 tons about 2 years ago and was sold at 22500 per ton then. Thanks cassava farming is very lucrative no magic about it but it take time. |

The point i raised is that lagos state govt can utilize her large number of students she has to plant flowers in our cities and save billions of naira that can be use to help farmers/procure farm in-puts. Such as tractors etc to encourage our youths back to agriculture. Lagos state farms is just a sensational farm that can be looted by any govt officials. U also mentioned that there is problem in sharing of d harvest. Imagine if 5 tractors and other in-puts is giving to a groups of 50 youths to start farming?? What do u think will happen?? Enough cheap food to eat and enought to exort to earn foreign exchange. How much do u think one tractor will cost if govt is buyin frm source? And no collabo in btw to inflate d price. igbodefender: Are you aware that Lagos State has commercial farms in several states. Do you know that Lagos State produces its own rice?
We have our disagreement with some aspects of how last year's harvest was shared, but it is a problem that can easily be solved. Let civil society give input on how such should be shared, and there will be improvements. But the point is that there is an element of seriousness in the Ambode Administration that many other governors need to imitate.
I think what Lagos State Government is trying to achieve is comprehensive development, I.e., quality development in as many sectors as possible.
Of course, there are short comings, like the lack of patrol vehicles to tackle the 'one way' menace in the evenings. That is a threat to Ambode's good works, but if he tackles it, the quality of life of Lagosians will be the better for it. |

I don't knw why Govt will be spending billions of naira to plant flowers in a country whr we imported many food items. That money could have been spent on procuring farm inputs for farmers. As a primary sch pupils in 80's we planted more colourful and brilliant flowers in and arround our sch. And how many are we then? We will be lead to the bush arround our sch and farms to collect or harvest many different, brilliant and colourful plants and bring them back to sch to plant. Even sometimes, our assignment is to go and look for flowers that doesn't exist in our sch and bring them back to sch in small ceramic pot moded by us too. We also trimmed these flowers by ourselves every agric days, usually thursday. But today despite d large population of students in lagos. Govt will still spend billions to plant common flowers. Is that a progress?? My sch football pitch is almost or bigger than dt of Abuja stadium. But we were made to cut d grasses all d time as a pupils. We are Africa not Oyinbo, that we must knw. Keep to it. Politics › Re: Bridge At Mokwa-Jebba Road In Kwara Collapses After Heavy Rain (Photos) by wasuka14(m): 7:48am On Jun 13, 2017 |
I have made several comments regarding the condition of this roads many times this year and last year. U see u need to ply that road to understand what, driver and business men and women face daily. So many ppl has lost millions of naira whenever vehicle carrying their goods fell on that road. Though Ilorin to Jebba is now fixed. Jebba to Mokwa, then Mokwa to Tegina are disatrous. And that is the only road where all the food items coming from or goin to all 17 Northern states pass through daily. Gej scam us because dt road was included in their sureP budget which they claimed it has been constructed in their handover notes. While Ilorin-Ogbomoso expressway that was constructed during OBJ tenure was also included as part of sureP roads. While ambandoned Ogbomoso-oyo under construction since 2003. I knw d judgement may be delay, but all d ppl incharge will face d judgement one day. |

I don't belief in any govt or budget. I believe in God and my ability to elevate my life. #Arise #Awake #Achieve!!! yemoyemo: Great! Congratulations to all Nigerians. I hope this year's budget will finally take us out of recession and restore the country back to the path of growth and development.
Shame on all those who previously referred to Osinbajo as mere commissioner and coordinator. The mere commissioner is now doing wonders for the nation. |
