Ukraine imposed a blockade against these people. You don't blockade people you want to remain with you. I earlier thought that zelensky would use this escalation to convince those who oppose the implementation of the Minsk accord that he has no choice if they want to regain control of the Donbass back, he must implement it. But he instead chose to play to American interests against Ukraine's own national unity interest
