ninnie: Oluwakayode Adebusuyi, a 26-year-old man from Nigeria, allegedly raped an intoxicated woman in her car, according to ABC 7 News. Immigration authorities have confirmed that Adebusuyi is an illegal alien. He currently lives in Fairfax, Virginia, but committed the crime in Montgomery County, Maryland. He was arrested in August of 2018 and charged with second degree assault, a fourth-degree sex offense, and false imprisonment. Prosecutors dropped those charges for a reason they have never disclosed. We could make an educated guess, but we don’t know for sure. He is currently in jail in lieu of a $250,000 bond.

A statement from federal immigration authorities confirmed that the Nigerian national is living in the U.S. unlawfully.
“On Sept. 1, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers lodged a detainer with the Montgomery County Detention Center on unlawfully present Nigerian national Oluwakayode Adewole Adebusuyi. Adebusuyi was arrested Aug. 28 on local charges, including rape,” a statement from ICE read.
This is not the first time Adebusuyi has been in trouble with the law for sexual crimes.
He was charged with a second degree assault, a fourth degree sex offense, and false imprisonment in August 2018, according to arrest documents obtained by ABC 7. However, prosecutors dropped the charges for unknown reasons. Adebusuyi has since worked as a ride-share driver.
News of the arrest marks the latest rape or sexual charge by an illegal alien in Montgomery County since County Executive Marc Elrich signed a “sanctuary” order in July that largely forbids local authorities from cooperating with federal immigration authorities. The “Promoting Community Trust Executive Order,” prohibits county police officers from asking about a suspect’s immigration status and bars police from working with ICE.

Thonyb2: Three gunmen have reportedly shot dead a couple identified as Mr and Mrs Sampson Owobo in Owerri, the Imo State capital.
PM NEWS gathered that Owobo, who hails from Edo State, is a former assistant superintendent of police.
The ugly incident, which occurred on Sunday night at about 8 pm outside the Chisco Transport office near the Owerri Area Police Command Office, threw locals and business owners into confusion.
Residents hurried inside to shut doors leading to their flats, while business owners fled the area.
According to an eyewitness, the escaping suspected armed robbers, who operated in a vehicle, were allegedly attempting to take the couple’s bag containing an undisclosed quantity of money from them.
The eyewitness disclosed that the retired ASP was shot at close range in the forehead after the three-man gang failed to take the bag of cash.
“His wife was also shot at a close range, at her left side, near her chest.
“While the wife was taken by cops to the Federal Medical Centre, Owerri, where she was later confirmed dead, the husband passed away right there.
“The armed thieves were attempting to snatch a bag containing cash while brandishing pump action rifles. The couple sells bread, and operates a POS business,” the source disclosed.
When reached, Henry Okoye, the spokesman for the State’s police command, confirmed the couple’s murder.
“The couple’s murder is strongly condemned. The CP disapproves of the couple’s murder, and he has promptly launched an investigation into it with the goal of catching the eluding offenders,” Okoye stated.

Excell2: Hey folks, I'm currently stuck in a job decision-making dilemma, kindly advise me. I applied and got a job with Alphamed Supply ltd in Abuja, however, they are offering me 80k for a start with no benefits, they are promising an upward review with other benefits when i get confirmed after a 6month probation. But with the current hike in transport fares, and also the distance from my house to the job location, I'd be spending more than 50% of the 80k on transport and lunch alone every month. I'm afraid it would be hard for me survive with this pay for a whole 6months. I'm also not putting trust in them to promote me after 6months because I've worked for companies in the past who promised same but it was all lies. So I was thinking it would be better off for me to continue with my personal hustle that pays me similar amount (or slightly higher) monthly with ease and convenience, but I'm also scared that i may be throwing away a good opportunity peradventure this company turns out to be a good company that would reward in the long run.
