NUT gives the government 21 days ultimatum to clear all arrears of teachers salary from February to August or face a full blown strike from October 8th to avoid the event of teachers slumping in the class room.

Indirectly and technically it means we are no more going on strike until after 21 days....they have bow to the government. What NUT mean is that teachers should resume on Monday or after holiday and continue to go to work till the August salary finish ....chai! Mind you within 21 days if money change hands you are on your own. Afterall they have given you transport to your work station by paying one month...Chai! see suffer! Our reward has gone back to heaven. I still prefer SUG (Student Union Government) than NUT. If it is lecturers now it would have been a different talk, that is why they will continue to oppress and devalue teachers till teachers develop a grass hopper mentality...where every time he gets 500 naira is singing amazing grace...even if the money belongs to him, with begging and borrowing as number one characteristics. Enough of this Nonsense! because we have vision! we have future! To bring out our best, Government must do there best for teachers! #Teacherswakeup.

Oyigbo, Tai, Ahoada East and Degema did biometric the same day 7th July....PPSB. Let me assume is bank that is delaying now, okay o, we are still waiting !

While am happy that they have started paying, am wondering why Eco & UBA now are lagging behind. May be, Ecobank and UBA have more number of workers that is why the small small banks with few workers are receiving. All they want is to stop anything strike by any means. ....I just pray is not divide and rule something.

Thanks to the government for successfully lowering or killing teachers zeal on this noble profession, while hoping for re-motivation and morah boosting procedure to be carried out on teachers....I choose to remain silent ..till my salary is paid. Strike mode activated!

When you see the way teachers talk sometime you will think they are serious....but if you look closely you will know it is a joke. In fact those who want to protest will be the first to go to school even on the 9th of September.

I have been cold since morning after listening to the Rivers state commissioner of finance Dr Fred Barivule Kpakol responding to a caller on 97.7 fm concerning the delay in payment of his salaries despite undergoing biometric since June.

His Reply shocked me and I have been wondering the actual implication or the import of his statement.

The Rivers State commissioner of Finance replied that the 13,200 Teachers employed during Governor Amaechi's Administration were fraudulently employed.

What concern him with employment matters. is he the commissioner of education or the ministry of education? anyway let me keep quite. Is not everything one must talk. all Am waiting for is my salary.

NYSC love their name and Job more than your problem. The first thing they try to do when problem involving the media arise is to protect their name. .....if not what on earth will make a male corper use hammer on a the teeth of a female corper if not a spell....unless the hammer part was added to make it look big, if not that corper man need to be disciplined. Now, see the girl face , he has added salt to injury!

My simple analysis: Even though the man showed that he has been into such act before now...because he accepted the girl to lie on him, what I see, look like a set up to trap him and catch him in the act, unknown to him that there is a hidden camera. I said this because the girl in the third picture seems to be facing the direction of the camera.

Also the foolishness of the man seem to manifest more because God want to expose him, if not how can a woman lie on a man with cloth on....the girl new and try to protect herself not to be seen unclad when the video is exposed.

Summary: All I see in the pix is that one person seems to be conscious of the hidden camera and therefore was careful about her action. while the other who could not control himself because of his lust or has been in this kind of act before now was exposed to the world. ....Though the video may say otherwise.

Most politicians are the same, they are fighting for their personal interest and yet they make it look like is for everybody, whole tribe or region. My super interest now is nothing but my SIX MONTH SALARY. simple. if them like make them chop themselves na them sabi.

Biometric is over let them pay everybody as far as your name is in the last list or whatever. I don't think it will be encouraging to owe this money till September after all they said as soon as you are through they will pay all your money...a beg make them pay everybody their money o.

Salaries will be paid any moment from Friday but not all will by paid. Out of about 6,000 SSS teachers, only about 3000 will be paid. Out of about 13,000 UBE teachers yet to be paid, only 7,000 will be paid.
The category of staff that will be paid include those who did their biometric in the month of jun, some of those that filled incidence form, and some who did theirs in the month of July.
The rest will also be paid as federal allocation comes in.

That is it. you are on point. This is the pattern they have been using to pay.

Anger everywhere lately on this thread...could it be because of hunger? as the saying goes that an hungry man is an angry man. Abeg make una cool una temper o the storm will soon be over. Though I am owed six months yet I think my greatest lesson from this is to think of what i can do to support my income. if you have other things to do no matter how small it will give u peace in time like this.

Wao...I just pray they answer the last batch or 8th whatever. because now I observe that those who did biometrics in July are yet to be paid.

As soon as we all receive alert we will fixed a date for resumption or else we will do shifting. those that have receive will resume September 9th while those that have not receive their money will resume December 10th .

Only God know when this salary mess will become a message. In this hash economic condition all we see is 49 Sitting 99 Standing , suffering and smiling.

Those getting alert are those in the 7th list or batch. Those who did theirs around 7th to 29th July are in the last batch because they were sent together at the end of the biometrics and we are told to expect our pay this week. so if you did not get alert this week expect next week if not pray o...September something.

Biometrics is over. This week make them send alert to everybody o.

Nigeria is depending on oil and here we are today. everyone shouting we need diversification! It is important for all teachers to consider this shouting as an advice. If you will pray, pray. if you will think, think. Anything good you can do, do. don't wait for government it is the devil's tool for frustration and confusion especially in naija where there is no order and Potential Ambassador cannot recite the National Anthem and/or The pledge. #startsomethingnow

it is not wrong to ask questions, but repeating the same question several times is not encouraging becuase answers have been given on this matter repeatedly on this thread. people should read the threads especially last three or two to know where we are coming from before asking questions...this may solve a lot of problems.

moreover....the poster asked....what else do they required...I jokingly list those items and advice the poster to read the thread to get an answer to the question because it has been answered already. Anyway sha no vex.
