Of course they can apply for DSSC. But they will not.be given any special advantage over their civilian counterparts.
Thank you sir. That's just what I want to know

@Tenderlaw am not talking about promotion but going through the normal process of applying for dssc

You are correct.
You mean some one who has HND and applied with national diploma can't be eligible to apply for dssc with his HND again?

My experience with paramilitary, any higher certificate you aren't employed on will not be considered after. You'd have to obtain a study permit to study and then you apply for the DSSC like everyone else.
I'll be watching for first-hand knowledge too sha
Thanks for your response.
In that case, I was totally misinformed
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Nigerian Navy Direct Short Service Course Aspirants(dssc) 2015 by Webbet(m): 10:55pm On Feb 19, 2019
Someone who didn't pass her medicals made it through even without participating in the oral interview.

Someone suggested I should apply with my National diploma on the ongoing navy recruitment, that it will be easier to join the dssc from there. @tenderlaw how true is this??

When I passed out I got to know about this Real Estate Business Opportunity. I was one Afternoon arguing after scouting for a work with no success when one man taped me on the shoulder and told me to come. The man sat me down in one of the chairs where they were selling snacks and started talking about a business opportunity.

Finally I went to the seminar and I was surprised such Opportunity exist and I have been going around looking for an unavailable work. The Business is all about marketing Real Estate Properties and earning 20 percent commision or recruiting people and earning 5 percent when they make sales.

Through this business God has blessed me, I have gotten a lot of contact and I have made sales and have received so many incentives.

And that is why I am taking it as a task to teach people and lead them to the land of wealth creation.

Life after NYSC is not easy but with right information and mindset you will survive

What will drop MOST people in the next stage is medicals, followed by Certificate Screening. If any slight discrepancy is noted in your papers you're out.

Colour Blindness test not usually done, but may be introduced at any time. It's not out of place.
discrepancies like?

They should let only the northern soldiers fight Bokoharam.

It's their creation and yet they're letting us die for them.

Imagine how Buhari is about creating another deadly sect as par the killing of the Shia Muslims.
Tomorrow they'll still send Southern soldiers to go die for them while they send the northern soldiers to be mounting roadblocks and be extorting money in the east..
Exactly my thoughts

OYO4sure:
What country are you looking into? I however doubt if that is in anyway possible.

Here in the UK, some universities will offer you entry into year 2 or 3 with your HND certificate. Taking note that in the UK, Bachelor's degree is 3 years excluding placement year so you may decide to run a course with a joint master degree which means you'll spend 2 years and then you'll be done with your masters.

Your course also matters. You're likely to be accepted if your course is a not Beng but Bsc.
Thank you sir for your response. Please I would need more counsel on that. The course is Urban and regional planning (town planning)
