Below are 9 ways I and my clients have been paying for Facebook Ads until Facebook approve direct debit for Nigeria. 1. You can pay in Naira through PayU. Make sure your currency is in Naira. At the point of payment, select PayU NOT Credit Card payment and it should give you access to pay in Naira. 2. Engage someone who has a working PayPal, Lloyds Bank and Barclays bank account. 3. Visit neibouring country and wire money there. Please verify that the country can do such money transfer before venturing. 4. Ask someone with a GTB US Dollar account to wire GTB US Dollar account to you. You would be credited with USD. 5. Alternatively, if you have someone abroad you should have no worries. That's what I'm doing right now. 6. There are middle-men or middle sites that can receive Perfect Money or other payment options and then do transactions for you with commission. 7. Work online to raise money to cover for your ad cost and use it to pay. 8. Invest in a domiciliary account. 9. Work as an affiliate to your service provider and use your commission to pay for their service. That is what I am currently doing with my Web Hosting company. |

Business / Banks That Accept Naira Card For Facebook Ad Payment And Alternatives Payment by WebclickNG: 3:02pm On Feb 22, 2017 |
According to Facebook last report, Nigeria’s monthly active users (MAU) have grown to 16-million (from 15-million) which is a 6.67% increase, as of the first quarter of 2016. A year later, with this huge number, Nigerians still find it difficult to connect to the audience they have built on Facebook after spending time and money due to Ads payment issue. Facebook supports direct debit payments for Ads in some countries excluding Nigeria. They do support PayPal and numerous credit cards or co-branded debit cards as payment options for Facebook Ads. Facebook is also now displaying advert rates for pages and businesses in Naira and accept manual payment for ads with Local Credit Cards? This of course have proved to be just figure display as actual charges are different from what is showing on Facebook page. However, due to CBN banking reform, foreign transaction is technically disabled on Naira Debit/Credit Card from most banks. In addition, for those that allows, there is a $100 monthly spending limit. Facebook claims they are working to expand their payment options, but don’t have a date for when they may offer additional payment methods. At WebClick, we have been receiving a lot of enquiries from many small business owners who run Facebook Ad to promote their business. As a result of this, we put a world out to the bank to find out their true position on the use of Naira Debit/Credit card for Facebook Ad. Below are the responses we got. Some banks do not respond but we are still reaching out to them and will update the responses. I will share the responses below. We ask the following question: I will like to know if your bank policy will allow me to pay for Facebook Ad with your Debit Card in Nigeria here? And if so, what is the monthly limit for spending? STAND UP AND BE COUNTED We concerned Nigerians in the business community are petitioning Facebook to look for alternative payment options that will enable the use of Nigeria currency as displayed on the Ad budget without resulting to dollar charges. We specifically require that Facebook speed up the process and approval for Nigerians to use Direct Debit for Facebook Ads in Nigeria Naira. Please after signing, do not forget to share this petitions on Facebook,Twitter and WhatsApp to get Facebook attention, the government and the general business community to the plight small business and young Nigerian entrepreneurs are facing. We, concerned Nigerians in the business community is petitioning Facebook to speed up the process and approval for Nigerians to use Direct Debit for Facebook Ads in Nigeria Naira. According to Facebook last report, Nigeria's monthly active users (MAU) have grown to 16-million (from 15-million) which is a 6.67% increase, as of the first quarter of 2016. A year later, with this huge number, Nigerians still find it difficult to connect to the audience they have built on Facebook after spending time and money due to Ads payment issue. However, due to CBN banking reform, foreign transaction is technically disabled on Naira Debit/Credit Card from most banks. In addition, for those that allows, there is a $100 monthly spending limit. Facebook claims they are working to expand their payment options, but don't have a date for when they may offer additional payment methods. The purpose of this petition is to compel Facebook to speed up the process and approval for Nigerians to use Direct Debit for Facebook Ads in the country currency, Naira. The Need For This Petition 1. Scarce Forex has forced many banks to suspend or disable international transaction on Naira Debit and Credit cards. 2. The high exchange rate has discouraged many including small business owner from opening a domiciliary account that will enable them obtain a dollar credit card. 3. The maximum $100 dollar monthly spending has come short of company budget thereby making them miss their marketing goals and objectives. 4. Millions of Nigerians use Facebook everyday to source for products and services. 5. Many small and medium business owners rely on Facebook Ads to get the word out about their business as they cannot afford Television or media Advert. 6. As rate of unemployment remains at an all-time high, millions of Nigerian youths are turning to internet micro jobs that requires some forms of online advert to make a earning. So, we concerned Nigerians in the business community are petitioning Facebook to look for alternative payment options that will enable the use of Nigeria currency as displayed on the Ad budget without resulting to dollar charges. We specifically require that Facebook speed up the process and approval for Nigerians to use Direct Debit for Facebook Ads in Nigeria Naira. Webmasters / Re: 10 Things To Know Before You Buy A Domain Name by WebclickNG: 7:20am On Jan 11, 2017 |
Choosing a domain name is similar to choosing a company name — it requires a lot of thought and consideration. Your domain name is your identity on the web; you want to make sure you choose a name that not only fits your business, but is also easy to find and promote. How to Choose Profitable Domain Name Follow the steps below to help you pick the perfect domain name: 1. Make it easy to type Finding a domain name that’s easy to type is critical to online success. If you use slang (u instead of you) or words with multiple spellings (express vs. xpress), it might be harder for customers to find your site. 2. Keep it short If your domain name is long and complex, you risk customers mistyping or misspelling it. Short and simple is the way to go. 3. Use keywords Try using keywords that describe your business and the services you offer. For example, if you’re a furniture replacement business, you may want to register FurnitureRepair.com or FurnitureReplacement.com. Include the keywords that people enter when searching for your products or services. It helps improve your rank on search engines (which increases traffic) and just makes more sense to your customers. 4. Target your area If your business is local, consider including your city or state in your domain name to make it easy for local customers to find and remember. Example: LondonFurnitureRepair.com. 5. Avoid numbers and hyphens Numbers and hyphens are often misunderstood — people who hear your website address don’t know if you’re using a numeral (5) or it’s spelled out (five) or they misplace or forget the dash. If you need these in your domain, register the different variations to be safe. 6. Be memorable There are millions of registered domain names, so having a domain that’s catchy and memorable is essential. Once you’ve come up with a name, share it with close friends to make sure it sounds appealing and makes sense to others. Quick solution: Got a great idea for a domain? Register your name today and put a website out there before someone else beats you to it. 7. Research it Make sure the name you’ve selected isn’t trademarked, copyrighted or being used by another company. It could result in a huge legal mess that could cost you a fortune, as well as your domain! 8. Use an appropriate domain name extension Extensions are suffixes, such as .com or .net, at the end of web addresses. These can have specific uses, so make sure to choose one that works for your business. The .com domain extension is far and away the most popular, but it can be tough to get a short and memorable .com domain name because it’s been around for so long. A bevy of new generic top-level domains — like .photography, .nyc and .guru — offer a great opportunity to register short and highly relevant names. And here are some other top extensions and how they’re often used: .co : an abbreviation for company, commerce, and community. .info : informational sites. .net : technical, Internet infrastructure sites. .org : non-commercial organizations and nonprofits. .biz : business or commercial use, like e-commerce sites. .me : blogs, resumes or personal sites. Pro tip: You don’t need to build a website for every domain. Just forward any additional domains to your primary website. 9. Protect and build your brand To protect your brand, you should purchase various domain extensions, as well as misspelled versions of your domain name. This prevents competitors from registering other versions and ensures your customers are directed to your website, even if they mistype it. 10. Act fast Domain names sell quickly. Thankfully, they’re also inexpensive, so register your favorite domain names as soon as possible. Read more at http://theprofitablewebsite..com.ng/p/how-to-register.html 3 Likes 1 Share |
