Kaycee7: That post was a compilation of children crying. I haven't seen crying like that since my sister's kids knocked down their whole bowl of ice cream.
It's not getting better. It was already fantastic. Y'all are just starting to catching on but the first two episode were boring. don't lie

TV/Movies › Re: DC EXTENDED UNIVERSE (FILM) by webhead: 5:00pm On Feb 05, 2021 |
TheHulk616: you are wrong. Marvel sells more comic books than DC. Marvel animations are better than DC. We have won 2 Oscars on animations compared to DC 0 Marvel TV series are better than DC trash TV series. no one is talking about sales here! the best comics ever written like watchmen the dark Knight returns swamp thing sand man kingdom come all star Superman preacher (to name a few) are from DC comics. |

TheHulk616: you see why marvel is great at storytelling. when it comes to movies, marvel admittedly surpasses DC story wise. But DC beats them when it comes to comics |

jikins: Read what you quoted. Was RT the yardstick used or was it user rating on metacritic? did I ever mention rt ratings as being the go-to measuring tool concerning the quality of marvel movies.
|
TV/Movies › Re: Marvel Cinematic Universe by webhead: 8:36pm On Feb 02, 2021 |
Kaycee7: Lemme guess. The lack of action scenes, right? lack of action is not the problem here, it's the execution. I know Marvel wants to do something unique, but they didn't do enough to make it feel alive. the boring jokes, uneccessary exaggerated acting and characters make it feel like they are forcing themselves to make something unique. it makes the show feel like a "wanna-be blend" instead of an actual blend of two different things. |
TV/Movies › Re: Marvel Cinematic Universe by webhead: 8:38am On Feb 02, 2021 |
jikins: When last did you check wanda vision rating on RT? SMH.
We get it you don't like it. It's fine it clearly wasn't made for you. So how about you stop watching it and focus on other tv shows and let those that like it enjoy it without your constant whining commentary! when last did you check the user rating on metacritic? |

TheHulk616: patience is key. Wandavision is a masterpiece that can be enjoyed more in trade paperback. So watching all the episodes at once. a masterpiece

1000WaysToLive: Guy, you misunderstood the post
I'm not dissing the quality of Marvel films.
On the contrary, i'm drawing attention to the fact that the MCU is the most critically acclaimed franchise scoring back to back hits with none of the films being outrightly slaughtered by critics.
The argument was how long it would take before the MCU got their first stinker.
As for The Incredible Hulk & Thor TDW, those movies were not critically panned. Both movies were scored "Fresh" on RT. They were divisive at best.
The MCU hasn't had a rotten film on RT since it's inception in 2008 it looks like Wanda vision will be one of the few mediocre offerings that'll be in between. |
