No No... I was reading your write up likebits something reasonable until I got to the Tinubu part, I don’t care whatever the mods are going to do about my account after this but I say to you, sorrow will never depart from your household! You will cry over everything that has been giving you joy! You’ll loose all because you have decided to be miserable for wasting my precious time! Useless human being Kagd10: That's why we need to ensure our country gets better.. Saudi Arabia don't even accommodate strangers even if they're Muslims. As long as you're not Arabs. Worse is if you're black. In fact, they hate Blacks the most.
Only Dubai tries to accommodate the Rich Black foreigners but now, they're driving them out too.
That's why we need to develop our country. That's why we need Tinubu, the most progressive competent liberal leader among the candidates need to be voted.
Tinubu's legacies as a Lagos governor include..
1. Creation of Agencies (which employed & still employs thousands of employees): LSDPC, Public Works, LASTMA, LAMATA, LIRS, much more... Other agencies were then created by then Gov Fashola e.g LASRRA, etc.
2. Building of Public facilities: Standard Millennium Schools, Markets across the state, LASU projects and LASU Teaching Hospital, Other Major Hospitals/General Hospitals includes:
a. Ifako-Ijaye Hospital b. Alimosho Hospital c. Somolu Hospital d. Mushin Hospital e. Ibeju-Lekki hospital etc and several health care centres.
3. Massive Housing Estates across Lagos.
4. Development of Lekki Ajah axis and others.
5. Conceived the BRT project and constructed the dedicated BRT lane from Island to Mainland. BRT operation started fully under Fashola.
6. Massive Infrastructural development: Construction of Road networks all across Lagos. He invited President Obasanjo to Lagos to commission roads in Surulere, Yaba and other parts of Lagos.
7. Providing IPP to Lagos State Institutions, from General Hospital Lagos Island to Secretariat Alausa
8. Focus on IGR by making several economic policies which led to enormous increase in Lagos revenue today. Ensured Lagos thrived despite Obasanjo seizing Lagos allocation for years.
9. Development of Lagos State Public Service & Secretariat Alausa encompassing many MDAs. Employment of Technocrats to head MDAs.
10. Another big achievement was the conception and starting of Lekki seaport, Eko Atlantic, Lekki Free trade zone and other multi billion dollar projects on the Island.
11. In addition, Tinubu also brought in the First telecom into Nigeria.
Above all, ABAT brought in technocrats into the State Public sector as Commissioners, Heads of MDAs, which has continued till now. He recruited across tribes..
In summary, ABAT is the architect behind the modern Lagos.
Let each candidates list their legacies in relative to how they would improve the country or shut up their noisemaking. Simple as ABC. We're not gonna ride on blind faith like before. Let us improve the country. Tinubu is the only one who can.. The only progressive competent liberal Leader among all the candidates.

In this present NIGERIA, no sane individual or organization will go with this mu-mu ticket!
Let’s be honest to ourselves, this is not the 1999 or even 2015 Nigeria, the evil party APC and it’s agents has wrecked this country to a point, Tinubu is just coming to finish everything to ashes!
You can’t be a Tinubu or APC supporter and not by myopic in real life tbh... sometimes I use to think some people have been destined to suffer or be slaves for life.
Before y’all Tinubu urchins start calling me Ibo, I’m a Yoruba boy to the core and I have sense, my vote is for PETER OBI!! I can’t figure out just a reason to vote Tinubu! |

SavageBoy: Can we just be civilized for once?
You don't just come here and start insulting people for no justifiable reason. The person whose grammar he jokingly corrected even took it as a joke.
You're making fun of his career, but know this and know this well, it would take you 10 years of hard work to achieve what he has achieved in tech. What's your career projection in tech being like?
I saw the useless advice you're giving the guy, let him include JavaScript, Php, MySQL... what kind of tech professional will ask someone who haven't program to put these solid programming languages in his CV? Or do you think creating a tech CV and portfolio is just like your regular #15K salary CV?
You even went ahead to tell the guy not to use YouTube tutorials or buy courses! Instead let him come so that you'll put him through. This is the funniest and dumbest advice of the century. And you claim yo be a computer science graduate. Mehn! that's sad.
Back to you @op... what exactly do you want from this UK man that you haven't gotten. If this story of yours is genuine, that you saw yourself through in school with your WordPress skills, what then will this man be able to give you that you haven't gotten?
If you will have to send your CV to him, come out plain with just the skills, show your work portfolio. It's as simple as that. If he has a job for you, fine. If he doesn't, fine. Spend the next 1 year of your life learning to code. Once you've learned to code, reach out to him. It won't be hard since you already have his contact, and have spoken with him in the past.
As simple as that. I don't understand your question, you mean what will working in the UK as a web developer get me that I haven't gotten? Let me explain in case you don't understand.. Sponsoring myself through private university with this skill doesn't mean I was making alot of money, it was just what I wanted then, I had to hustle my way till I graduated.. I don't buy clothes, I don't spend unnecessarily, all my focus was just on that school and that was because fiverr as a freelance platform was paying well then unlike now that Indians has spoilt everything! Thank God I was able to save up till I finish school because I literally saw it coming that a day would come where this money won't be coming like this... As I'm telling you right now, to make $100 monthy on fiverr as a wordpress web designer, youll have to do extra, I mean extra and of course part of being extra is to use foreign account which sooner or later would get blocked after making few bucks. The opportunities I'm seeing here is even way beyond what his uncle is going to offer me.. My problem is getting to pass the interview which would be online.. After that, I'll still have like 2-3 months to myself to go over these courses and considering my zeal towards having a better life, I believe I can at least learn something on these languages that I can offer then after getting there, I can improve myself over the year then probably start applying for jobs properly. My plan before was to go through masters too but considering the financial involvement, it might not be possible, I just want to leverage on this opportunity to get there... There's always room for improvement and trust me, I can't be in a better environment and learn something for a year and won't be good at it. I'm just going to take the risk of putting them on my CV then go hard in getting much knowlege as I can to be able to pass the interview then kick-start from there. I hope you understand me better now chief? |

Ikennablue: my advice is this…
Send a very convincing CV, that shows you can code in html, css, JavaScript, php, sql… if he is going to bring you over it will take atleast 2months, if you are going to be working from here, you can team up with a good programmer and split the pay.
In two months, trust me you can learn html and JavaScript and even php, as long as you’re serious in it. If you are in Enugu, I can teach you html and JavaScript in two weeks and you can pay me later. Whatever you do, make sure you send a convincing CV, luckily enough, you have projects to back it up Thanks for the ginger bro, I'll start working on the training but unfortunately, I reside in Ibadan but I'll try my best to do whatever it takes at least to have basic knowledge in case of any urgent interview after sending the CV |
