Veteran Nigerian actor, Zack Orji, says he is saddened by the increasing rate of divorce in the country. The entertainer, who spoke in an exclusive chat with Legit.ng, stated that no marriage is perfect, stressing that marriage entails hard work and commitment to last. He said: “I believe that a lot of people go into marriage without being prepared to make the necessary sacrifice, so at the slightest provocation, they are ready to opt out and that is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s supposed to be a union for life. For better for worse.” Orji also added that marriage is filled with so many ups and down, but encouraged couples to remain committed. He added: “In good times, you hang in there, in bad times, you stay there and you depend on God to sustain it. And if you truly believe in your marriage and love the person, your focus will not be on finding faults, it will be on doing whatever you can to make the person happy and to take the position that you should be the last person to opt out.” Source: https://weddingwebsite.ng/no-marriage-is-perfect-zack-orji/

Most Celebraties decide to flaunt their marriage ceremonies while others prefer a silent ceremony without the eyes of the public. Some Celebraties also try hard to get their private lives away from the public but as Celebraties, one’s life becomes difficult to keep out of the the public eye. See 2 Celebraties who kept their wedding a secret. 1. Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko Regina Daniels faced so many backlash from the public when she got involved with billionaire Ned Nwoko. Many suggested that she was marrying her current husband because of his money. Her mother, Rita Daniels was also not left out as she was blamed for pushing her daughter into a marriage many thought was not right based on the age differences. The couple secretly had their traditional wedding in secret for fear of being more chastised. Photos from the ceremony later broke the net. 2. Simi and Adeleke Gold One of the Celebraties in Nigeria who kept their relationship and marriage away from the public eye is Simi and her husband Adeleke. Simi and Adeleke had been dating for a long time although most people argued the fact that they were just friends and Simi was rather dating Falz. You just have to be happy with what you have. The man can't afford a Benz nor a range so he used a wheel barrow he can afford. |
Ladies First ![]() A very traditional invitation has the bride’s family issuing the invitation. A slightly more updated traditional invitation has the bride and groom’s family inviting the guest. However, these days, when it’s just the bride and groom, it’s almost always the bride’s name first. Notice everyone says “bride and groom”, not “groom and bride”. Ladies first, and all that. |
